Another tip that I have for schizoid is that it sounds like avoid and that helps me remember that they typically don’t like close relationships and prefer to AVOID people or be alone

I passed my MSW exam yesterday and wanted to say your videos, particularly the DSM and Code of Ethics ones, were so helpful! It's the only way the information would stick. Thanks from a Canadian colleague!

Hey Ray, Can you do practice questions for the different type of disorders? That way we can see how it is on the exam.

When I think of schizoid, I think of zoid = zombie and picture like zombies personalities as detached from others, no real affect or emotions, and they are not seeking any type of relationships

And then there's me.. Paranoid, I never trust others, history of being bullied
Schizoid.. No interest in sex, never been in love, I am bored all the time (34 years old)
Schizotypal.... I believe I've been hexed, obsessed with patterns and numbers, "no such thing as coincidence", social anxiety never gets any better, I know I'm weird, lots of masking to appear normal... No hallucinations

Hey! More so how often they occur. For the exam, that aspect is irrelevant in identifying them.
