Hello mate, quick question. I've complete the change of motor and linkage but am now having an issue calibrating the start point of the motor cycle. the blades are currently going down before going up. How do I ensure the motor is in the resting position before reattaching the blade arms?
The new motor must be plugged into the car before attaching it to the linkage. When it is attached to the motor cycle it by turning the wipers on at the stalk to thier fast position and then to the off position. Then remove motor and attach to linkage. After you bolt the motor to the linkage push the linkage bar all the way to the left the same side as the black casing of the motor . Then attach the center nut with a 13mm spanner. You may need to jam something between the linkage bars and use the open end of the spanner to tighten. Then fit it to the car . If you want to test it before you refit the trim make sure to tighten down wiper arms first . Longest wiper arm goes on the passenger side . I hope this is of help to someone.
Just did mine but the motor is turning the wrong way. The wipers are going into the engine bay instead of going up towards the window. Trust me to receive a faulty one. Thanks for the help though :P
You might need to just take the wiper arms off and then position them a couple of notches higher on the splines then tighten them down that should solve the problem ! Hope this helps !
Hi. When putting the wipers back on do they snap on then tighten with bolt or just place on. I put my wipers back on with a snap and when I went to try them the new mechanism snapped. Cheers in advance for your reply
Bruv saved me thousands in labour costs. Thanks mate
Best video I have seen and now I will be able to tackle it myself. Thanks
Thanks! I'm glad it was helpful!

ive just done the job too and having the same issue, did you manage to fix it in the end ?
@@Liam.mitchell1 also having this issue - almost like the wipers as working back to front like they are moving downward from parked position-

Did this but think my linkage is off as my wipers keep whacking the lower trim. Or maybe it's because I'm not lifting the arms to tighten them
