All I see is Doberman. I had two doberman both makes Zeus and Apollo fantastic dogs. Both passed away a few years ago aged 12 and 14 from brain problems they were loving caring dogs, but many people had an instant fear of them, they were great around children. I still miss them both. These dogs being shown are beautiful. ❤from Scotland.
These are heavier and larger than Dobermans. Dobermann breeds suffer from hereditary diseases that have deteriorated in quality due to inbreeding. Unfortunately, Dobermann did not share what breeds he bred the first ones from. so the stock was reduced.
Can we please clone this man as a breeder? The ongoing care for his dogs and the ironclad contract to protect them is incredible. They are beautiful dogs. Thanks for sharing.
Be careful. Homo sapiens' genetic diversity is greatly reduced compared other mammalian species. You will quickly risk overbreeding leading to physical and mental problems. And humans are already mentally unstable and physically weak as it is. Luckily, they make up with it in intelligence which means that with a lot of hard work, we could train a new generation to be just as kind and caring
For, four decades, I've had Doberman. Without a doubt this man has used the breed. I get the same intense stares daily. I've never thought a Doberman mixed with any other breed looked good, but whatever this man worked in there is actually pleasing. I cannot unsee the Doberman though, lol.
Same, I also see Staffi or Pitt in there. Beautiful dogs, I just lost my 15 year old Pitt on my birthday and I'm finally starting to think that it's time to start looking for my new friend. I'm looking for some acreage to put a homestead on, and they might make a good fit. Lots of land/farm to run around, and keep watch over, then curl up in a comfy bed inside. I guess that I wouldn't need it to be trained like cops or military might, protecting their family and land, and letting us know if bears or wolves are heading our way...black bears aren't that big but they can get really aggressive if they think food is involved. Two females would probably work well together.
Don't tell what you put together to create such a beautiful athletic working dog because you'll have so many backyard breeders destroying the breed! They are known for that! Absolutely stunning! Great job! 🤍
This man is exactly what a dog breeder should be. Ive just got a GSD puppy and the breeder matched me with my pup and for the first time ever I'll be havibg a boy dog ❤
We rehomed a male that get considerably bigger 3 yrs ago. Hubby moaned we didn't need another dog, (long story 😂). Named him Sampson cause he actually drug me about 3 ft. He worships my husband almost a stalker syndrome.. They are awesome but I've only had the privilege of having 3.. Good luck
@LisaMadden-qd7ko thank you. I've had dogs since I was 8 and I foster too but I think a puppy's going to be a whole other level 😂 I've puppy proffed my house as best I can, booked in for puppy training etc I'm hoping I won't get dragged 3ft though! Samsons a lovely name
Will the cool thing is there is German Shepherd in these dogs. There's Dutch shepherd, Belgian malinois, working line German shepherd, various Mastiff breeds, touch of great dane, doberman, some bulldog, and American pitbull terrier
Have a wonderful life with your boy dog! ❤ I've had both male and female GSD/s, all of which I've gotten from GSD rescues. Some people might argue against linking temperament to gender, but my girls were a little bossier and more independent, while the boys were very sweet and stuck to me like glue (i.e., never a moment alone in the bathroom). I wish you and your dog all the best!
@quackslikeaduck ob thank you. He's an absolute delight and he's so laid bck for a pup! I know what you mean about girl dogs I've got an elderly patterdale terrier, she's female, and she can be a moody little madam but this boy wants to play, sleep and cuddle and he's already following me everywhere. I think all breeders should pick the puppy because they've had them since birth and have watched their temperaments emerge.
This breeder is what all breeders should strive for - love of the breed & the best for each individual dog. What a joy this man is & the care he has towards his dogs shows. Not only are they amazingly gorgeous, agile, powerful, etc., but the loving face when looking at you put tears in my eyes!! 💕🐾💕🐾
Yeah totally, I think all breeders should create breeds jk🤦♂ They need to make it harder to breed dogs legally. So many goof balls just trying to make a quick buck. (most breeders). This guy does do it good, but I dont agree. How many breeds do you want? Im not being rude, im just passionate about this subject...
This is always the case for each episode, but this one stands out for some reason. Not only are the dogs truly beautiful, but so are the humans, both outside and in. Must be the magic of Canada, with all the snow and easy going energy!
The magic of Canada, maybe, but that magic is beginning to slip away with Trudeau at the helm! You can no longer even possess firearms of any kind. Regards, Denis Berte' USMC
Beautiful breed! Funny how these pure working breeds have the astonishing looks that no 'show breeds' have. Looking in their eyes you can see how balanced assured and confident they are. Outstanding work! this man needs recognition for his work.
I agree with you for the most part you are absolutely correct. However that said, the working lines of X herders and working line German Shepherds are stunning absolutely stunning and much better looking than their show line counterparts
Huh? Show breeds are well bred dogs that go onto pet homes or performance homes. The average person does not have the time to own a working dog unless they need one on a farm. Dogs shown in conformation are just being proved they meet breed standard and can move well etc. They are also health tested etc. Most show breeders put other titles on them like performance titles. I have a dog from a “show breeder” and he’s health tested with amazing temperment and the breeder has put lots of titles on her dogs. He’s also very stable and confident and I have his lineage. My husband is using him as a hunting retriever. He has the drive but it’s not so extreme he can’t live inside the home. People use the word “show breeder” too dismissively. Dogs are shown in conformation to prove they are worthy to be bred. They are being proven that they move well and have good structure. They are proven that they are stable. Solid breeders are also competing in performance. They are doing way more than back yard breeders and the dogs are typically very stable. Working dogs are too extreme to live in the average pet home. That’s how you end up with shelters full of the same breeds. And shelter dogs are never dogs coming from showlines. They are either bully mixes or these days Malinois. Show breedings aren’t breeding for “looks”. They are breeding to preserve the breed, for the love of the breed, and showing them to prove they are worthy of continuing the line. Society has changed and working dogs aren’t needed as much due to technological advancements. But these breeders love their chosen breed and wish to continue it. People are confused about what showing is. You can get a show line or golden from a show breeder and have it be your hunting partner. The difference is a field lab won’t settle down in your home.. a show line lab will have a nice off switch. I would never go with a breeder that doesn’t prove their dog in conformation. But I will also make sure they are putting other titles on the dogs as well. Most solid breeders are.
@@ComboMusterwell if you are going with a show line Gsd- it’s typically because you want an actual herder. They aren’t breeding for looks lol. You just think they are because you are misinformed. The working line gsds have way too much drive and are being bred to have too much aggression and too much prey drive which isn’t suitable for a farm. Also, people looking for a pet Gsd will go with showline as working is just too intense. West German showline dogs are very stable dogs without too much prey drive. They are also tested in shutshund and just enough dog for a family.
I wish I could agree with you, but all you have to do is look at the Neo Mastiff, the modern Cane Corso, and even the modern German Shepherd. You’ll see three dogs that fall into the “ideal” breed standard, but that standard no longer fits the functionality that was intended. I don’t think it’s the breeders fault so much as the AKC, but br elders have the responsibility to stand up to the AKC when something is amiss. That’s just not happening now.
I have a doberman x American staffy. She looks very similar to these dogs. Same face snout, overall build. Super similar. However im in Australia and cropping and docking is illegal. She is the most intelligent, protective, confident well behaved dog ive ever had. Super well behaved and just the best dog you could ever have. She is definitely the fastest dog ive ever seen aswell. Crazy athletic. She loves little kids and had nothing but a desire to please and protect.
There's a whole lot more than just that. There's various Shepherd breeds, working line German shepherd, Belgian malinois, Dutch shepherd, American pitbull terrier, doberman, various Mastiff breeds and maybe some bulldog breeds and a touch of great dane. Possibly some whippet as well
As the video was running I caught myself mantally writing a description of land, enviroment, other animals, the working requirements, and a guess at percentages of Pet vs Working Dog and how many family members would need to have full control of the dog.. Then I realized I may never be able to afford one... But, what an incredibly well bred dog and even more impressive a breeder/trainer, virtual creator of a breed that actually cares about his dogs... Every single breeder should be this good and this concerned of the life of his dogs...
No one worried about them becoming the next band breed.. look at XL Bully in uk at the moment .. beautiful dogs but the wrong people buy them for the wrong reason
No. They're not popular or even common. Most likely the pups will be super expensive and outside of a few individuals they'll be lucky to make it to UK shores. Breeds like this tend to have very dedicated breeders who don't sell pups as a quick buck or an accessory for the buyer.
It’s not the foundation breeders I would be worried about, copy cats looking to make a quick bit of cash regardless of what monstrosity look alike they create are the real threat.
As a former owner of a Warlock or King Doberman (super sized) you can see the eyes of the Doberman so clearly on this breed. It makes my heart melt. My dobie passed unfortunately. I miss so him terribly that I won’t get another Doberman but this breed is something else entirely. You can see the mastiff shining through. Gorgeous! Definitely one to consider in the future for protection. Thanks for sharing the breed with us!!
Sorry to hear about the passing of your Doberman. If you ever do decide to get another one, don't fall for the King and/or Warlock propaganda. They don't exist. Warlock comes from the name of a show dog called Borong the Warlock, who was a normal sized dog. King is just a tag used for greeder breeders like King Shepherds. Instead of worrying about the size, look into the health testing of the breeding stock. There are several really good breeders that have longevity certified dogs in multi generations throughout their pedigrees. I've never seen a breeder of "King or Warlock" Dobermans do ANY health testing. Not even for hips. If a breeder is breeding over sized dogs, hips should ALWAYS be tested as should hearts.
The irony is that the Dobermann was developed by Louis Dobermann in the 1890s motivated by the exact same considerations that Kian is working with. In fact, his dogs in fact still seem to look a little like modern Dobermans. The Doberman, too, is an entirely "artificial" breed. Louis Dobermann was a municipal dog catcher, among other things, and his job gave him access to a large variety of breeds to work with in his search for the "ideal" protection dog. I still think Dobermans today are unique.
These dogs are absolutely beautiful, well taken care of obviously . When they stand there in the sun shining on them you can see how sleek & ripped they are . I’ve never seen such a well rounded dog ✌🏻
The Canem Belli is another super interesting protection breed you should do a video on! The kennel/TH-cam channel is Elite Boerboels out of Italy. He breeds working line Boerboels & Alabai plus a few others, but he did the same thing. He took the best examples of a few breeds who excel in the traits he wanted/wants & created the Canem Belli. They look similar to these dogs & also perform, listen & are easily trained the same as well. Should definitely go to his kennel & do a video on his working line Boerboels, Alabai and the Canem Belli!
This is a very nice well rounded dog. I’d be proud to own one. The breeder is educated and very responsible, as well as pro dog health. Good obedience! I hope he continues with his breeding and makes a better working dog.
i'd stay away from doberman lines as they're an unhealthy mess. i bet he used german pinscher, lots of malinois, some pitbull and beauceron and maybe a touch of whippet.
Yes Doberman is in the breed but there's a whole lot more because Doberman do not have this level of courage because they been bred down due to show breeders. These dogs have Dutch shepherd, Belgian malinois, working line German shepherd, doberman, American pitbull terrier, mastiff, and bulldog breeds in them. It takes several several generations of careful genetic selection to start getting a foundation and then you go from there
@@erico2079no actually it’s not because too many people get dogs without realizing what a HUGE commitment it is & then dump them at a shelter where they’ll most likely (most of the time they do) get euthanized. Also things happen so again, instead of dumping the dog off & never knowing what happened to them or just thinking ‘oh I’m sure Fido got adopted & hes with a great family!’ When they are no longer living. A contract insures that said dog goes right back to the breeder also the breed reserves the right to take the dog back at ANY TIME if the contract is violated.
Looks just like a cane Corso.., had one for 15 years.. got cancer and had to put him to sleep… true story had a 2006 Chevy avalanche had the tailgate up and he literally jumped from the driveway up over the tailgate into the back of the bed of the truck.,. Like almost 58-60 inches.. he loved everything and everyone.. when I took him to be put to sleep.. when the nurse came out he looked at me and walked straight to her.. god I am crying right now.. what a good dog.. Nick I hope I see you again one day.. I miss you… I can see you my boy.. I miss you.
Really, what is the purpose vanity? Do you need an elephant gun to shoot a deer. What is the purpose for a family risking one even playing with a small child. A nip with that bite force would kill your child or you or someone else or another animal not equipped. Here we go again nightmare pitbulls and cane corso is not enough. The animals are the ones that suffer abused, mis bred, fought, euthanized and 90 percent of owners cannot handle these powerful animals lack of resources, vanity, ghettos, drug dealers and assholes with small dicks buy them usually.
We had a samoyed wolf dog mix by mistake thought it was pure samoyed. It ended up by the courts in a 20 by 20 enclosure after biting kids, adults, other dogs. It existed not lived in there walked with a muzzle fighting us on walks for 7 years when the vet begged and convinced us to put him down. You have not lived and breaks your heart to see your dog shunned and feared. You have treat him once an adult like a serial killer because its not made for families and sweet cuddle city life.
Lots of dogs have a purpose. It’s a matter of using it. We have a standard Poodle and he makes an incredible family dog and my husband also uses him as his retriever for upland hunting. But this dog is social and can be taken anywhere without being a liability. Most of these extreme dogs don’t belong in society because they end up being dangeorus. Once they get popular.. there comes the bites and maulings.
Absolutely amazing dogs! You can tell the breeder is really doing the job by researching and being careful about his breeding and it shows on the temperament of his dogs. I hope he registers the breed soon and manage to keep his line “clean”.
@@amandamurphy8410 why the apprehension ? There are many dogs like the Doberman where it’s known what other breeds were used to create it . Most people don’t have the dedication to create a new well established breed .
This was a visual treat also as of late the new breeds introduced seem only to fulfill a need for a pet. We have Akitas so truly appreciated. Thanks to all involved and beautiful dog.
Kian you are incredible for what you are doing. 👏🏻 I am tired of looking at very unhealthy and unatural breeds. This dog is like a Mallinois and Cane Corso in one.
Wow what a breed and the man is right breeders are targeting looks over function and health. When i was young we had ridgebacks to guard the property. We lived in Rhodesia so the blood lines were old. Compared to what you get today its pretty shocking how much they changed. Still lovely dogs but much smaller and slower. Excellent video stunning dogs and first class owner.
Gosh, I wish I were twenty years younger, I'd have had one of those dogs in a heartbeat. I love the way they effortlessly jump and climb and how attentive they are.
I'll stick with my Presa canario breed. Gentle as a microfiber cloth with my kids and no joke anywhere else. Greatest dog I've ever had. And nothing like the b.s. I read online. Accept for the guard part they are definitely that.
@@RobBarker225th I'm looking for a boerbel to add to my guardian mix now. Be a bad ass mix is have. All my dogs are intact males and I have very little issues with any aggression. The breed gets a bad rap online but I personally have none of the issues I read about.
@@RobBarker225th I always said that too but my favorite breed no matter how hard you work with them will always kill little critters and that's pit bulls. Lovem to death but it's an inherent instinct that can't be stopped. got one right now that I caught eating rabbits twice last week. We have a farmstead and my birds learned quick to stay out of the front yard. great dogs otherwise. But yes any dog in the wrong hands will always be blamed.
One of the best looking dogs I've seen in awhile. And i think a big part of whats makes these dogs the best of both worlds is the breeders temperament/ personality very subdued and relaxed yet Confident.
@@sharonmontano4924 - I started training as a pup. Socializing her immediately and had her learning commands. She's UNBELIEVABLY protective, almost to a fault, but she's amazing!
Great dogs !!!!! It's obvious that Dobermans are the base of this mixed breed (probably 80%) and one can recognize some Belgian mallinos and black Great Dane In them too. To me... these dogs are what the Doberman use to be 80 years ago
I have 16 month old Pit Corso (Blue Nose Pit X Cane Corso). He is a huge 100+ lbs puppy and still growing. He can chew up anything, I'm on my second Kong Extreme. A Cane Corso has a 700 bit psi and Pitbulls have the ability to hold onto things so tightly, he can hang from his rope toy, by his jaws, for real. Only problem we have is he doesn't realize his size and could easily knock you over. He's a puppy that's the size of a fully grown dog. ❤
I would loooove to see a pic of yours. We have a black/brown brindle Pit/Corso mix who has the stockiness and build of a pibble and the face taking more of the Corso. We love her to bits!
It appears to be a Cane Corso and a Doberman, lots of Doberman lines, Euro lines. Remember, the original Doberman was a combination of several breeds including the Rottweiler, the German Pinsher, the Blue Dane, Weimeramer, Bueracan, old German Shepard and Black and Tan terrier and they refined with a black racing greyhound, which we have records of. The original several generations were very, very sharp dogs and used by the Marines in WWII.
Great video. These dogs look like Dobermans crossed with the Cane Corso, although, you can see the Doberman all over this dog. They are very beautiful but the Doberman is the most pronounced when looking at them. It was interesting that they essentially used different dogs to do different tasks. One dog for obedience, one for hold & bite and one for agility. Usually, a trainer will show one dog performing all of these tasks. That shows their all around ability. The breeder is a very nice man with excellent intentions and his goal is admirable but these are really the original Doberman in a different coat, just a little heavier than most. Best of luck with (not the Canis Panther) the Best of Both Worlds breed, they are striking.
the traits most prevailant is belgian malinois, cane corso, and staffordshire my final guess is, (Belgian malinois X Cane Corso X Staffordshire Terrier X Doberman)
@@kianrahmani7767 Thank you for responding and correcting my error about the male dogs, I edited my original comment. I missed Finnen(?) and his bite work, hopefully I got his name and spelling correct. You are producing (creating) beautiful dogs. It's not an easy task and it takes a lot of time, dedication and money. Your dogs remind a lot of working line Dobermans, that is a real compliment. They are physically a little larger and we don't yet know how their intelligence measures up but your dogs are beautiful and if they turn out the way they seem to be headed, you'll be very successful. The female pup Atusa, (hopefully I got her name right) is an excellent specimen and she looks like a great example of what you're wanting to accomplish with this breed. Thanks again for reaching out. Congratulations and I truly wish you the best of luck.
Thank you. The dogs were absolutely beautiful and definitely the best of both worlds. I was very impressed with the breeders' strict contract of sale 👌
Great video on this breed and you can see the love this guy has for his dogs , his not like 90percent of the breeders out there just trying too make a buck, but looking out for this breed’s health and all breeds should be number one for everyone.
I appreciate the shared detail, effort and time both you and the breeder presented in the video. Your dedication to your craft appears very genuine and seems to improve with each video. Thanks for stepping off the beaten path to interview this unique breeder/trainer. I appreciate those that took the time to watch the video. Then provide feedback from their personal perceptions and experiences. When it comes to floppy ears and a whip tails; they have there lapdog place in society. A dog is not a lesser or mutilated animal, if a breeders design is for a working purpose. That purpose may actually save the canine (and or its handler) andprotect it from great harm or death. Expand your knowledge and research the reason for the Breeders choice. I'm sure if you requested a floppy ears and wagging whip from him ... for a pet, non working dog he would refer you elsewhere. However, these canines are purpose breed and to be trained as a functioning working dog/pet. My Rottweiler that was family and I loved him more than most people. He provided our family with over a decade of service and love. His only flaw in the protection field that made him vulnerable...was his ears. This isn’t meant to offend. These dogs are not for everyone. Those that are fortunate enough to be and owner/handler ... best wishes and enjoy!
Donovan Pinscher crossed with pet quality pitbull, doberman & sheppards. This is one reason you see everything from roach back, low drive & confident dogs.
Real absolute beauties ! And I love that Kean is really choosing who will buy his dogs. So many people present a nice and good face and end up in reality to be mediocre owners. I wish the best to Kean and his beauties !!! If I was 20 years younger, I would have envisaged owning such a dog but ... ! Do they have the same life span than the other breeds of that size, i.e. 9 - 10 years ? Thank you for your videos on dogs, they are always a delight for real dog lovers. From Paris with love.
@@goyes-vr3bzShe actually did mention that she DOES know. But she's not telling you out of respect for the breeder's wishes to keep that information private
Some of the dogs shown have a short upper arm and over angulated (and some under angulated rears) both of which affect the top line which will lead to usage injuries and joint problems. They will wear out in the long term and contribute to a shorter lifespan. Hopefully the breeder brings in individuals that will help correct this.
What would you attribute the inconsistency of their top line to?.. would you say it could be a result of mix breeding? Or just poor breeding in ethics?
Some dogs with “Floppy ear” will get creases that get infected and are hard to maintain. As for the tail, I’ve had mals and Dutch shepherd’s and my last mal had “happy tail” were they wag their tails so hard that they hit things, walls and such and then they break, re-break until they have to be removed. These things are very rare but happen enough to be a problem. My Dutchie had to have his happy tail docked at 3 yrs old and it screwed his balance up for a while. The process sucked. But on a whole 95% of dogs DONT need it.
Being a dog mom of a Doberman, Boxer, Belgian Malinois and a Rottweiller 🐶🐶🐶 I am beyond amazed of the breed that you are creating 🥰🐶💕 Absolutely in love and would love to meet your breed 🐶💕🐶
They're probably a linebreeding of doberman and bully. He had some old pictures of a doberman and a few bullies years ago and also a picture of a litter of this bully and doberman. The dog quite similar to his current dogs.
Yeah, there are definitely significant parts of Malinois and Dobermann in those fellows. I would love the chance to work with one of those dogs for some days. Seeing them in a video is cool, but to really know, you have to work with them for a bit.
Looks and acts like he used Giant Schnauzer at some point I love this guy, putting the "taken the dog back!" In the contract is awesome IMO. None of his dogs will be abused in any manner or be bred w/a skitzo dog. I so appreciate you Anneka , for keeping it real and not being afraid to call out the show line breeders who could care less about retaining the true characteristics of working breeds.
Beautiful dogs, and just amazing to see them in action. While are understand it given you plan for them to be used for protection, I still take issue with the ear and tail cropping. Or did they somehow manage to breed for those ears and tails, because if so I would love to hear more about that.
@@1forelle Yes, they are ... and not very well done, which is weird, considering how much effort he put into his new breed. Or maybe he went for the ragged look on purpose, who knows.
When she was naming off the breeds I could see every single one in dog she was showing. Crazy breed. Just like any dog. Would be a handful and amazing to have fully trained
That's because their not lol. I've been following best of both worlds for years. All he did was breed a female XL Bully to a male doberman. & She's trying to make this major point that it's not a canis panther. I disagree. Any bull breed bred with a doberman your gonna get similar results. This is his version of a canis panther.
I have a doberman/cane corso mix, both parents papered, dad(doberman) got out and hooked up with the mom(corso) looks exactly like these dogs except I didn’t dock or crop.
Best of both worlds… my money is on Doberman x Belgian Malinois. Maybe something with a muscular head like a pit sprinkled in. Beautiful dogs. And a beyond respectable breeder. Thanks for sharing!
The dogs are truest gorgeous and beautiful, they look strong, powerful and healthy. I love your videos very much and here Anneka is great as usual. But for me this episode look more like an ad of this man. You say a lot about the importance of health and working qualities of the dog, but in the video we see and hear about the appearance mostly. Yes, they do some obedience, biting work and other stuff, but there are many other breeds that can do this and very good at it. We don’t hear anything about the evidence of the breeder’s words, what about genetic tests and illnesses, how long do they live, maybe some awards in competitions and so on? Actually, any breeder can say the same as in the video about their dogs. Why is the selecting process so secret? Why can’t you be more specific about the breeds and lines you used? It’s not a pie recipe, no one will steal that and copy. Now it looks more like marketing. I’d be happy to be wrong and really hope that the new breed is healthy and good.
Look up how many wild animals have floppy ears. Carry-overs of domestication. The crop should be intended to restore a more ancestral, and apparently, evolutionary benefit.
Several breeds can be mixed to get that "canis panther" look. The easiest shortcut is to use the a mastiff male, typically dogue de Bordeaux and cross it with a female European doberman pinscher. That gives you a bigger more athletic Doberman type dog. Then in the next generation you want to introduce the black pitbull terrier in the mix. Typically these three breeds alone can give that look, especially if you have two separate sets going on at the same time, then interbreeding the best puppies from these two sets or groups. By the third generation you begin to get the final product. Is it absolutely necessary to do this mixture? I don't think som personally I believe there are enough standard , and well established breeds that there is already a dog out there for any purpose or any owner! All of these new creations are really just people trying to explore their curiosities!
Believe it or not, I trained dogs for almost 3 decades. The strongest dog I ever trained was a Warlock Doberman who weighed around 135 or 140 pounds. He was so strong he could drag a Mastiff across a yard in tug of war games and stronger than any Rott, Cane Corse or Dogo Argetina I ever came across. He was from Europe. I call him a Warlock or King Doberman but he was simply a very large Doberman. Like 31 inches at the shoulder.
Ive been following that dude on Instagram for years. All he did was breed a female XL American Bully to a male Doberman. This isn't a breed yet. He only has a couple generations produced. For a channel this big I would think you would know obvious information on creating a breed.
I am sorry that you are so far behind with your information. It is because of people like you that I have decided to keep things more private and seems like it is working. Thank you!
And another dog with clipped ears :) . Why should the ears be mutilated again this time... perhaps to please the owner and make his dog look more dangerous? I don't blame Animal Watch for this, they just film the dogs and make an episode of it. These are the people who cut their dog's ears and they should be locked up and given a hefty fine. So to animal watch, I'm not bashing you here, you're doing a good job and I enjoy your TH-cam channel, let that be clear.
Excellent new breed and excellent name "Borz" !!! Translated from the language of Nahs, one of the ancient nations, related to the Hurrito-Urarts (I am sure yours also), that lived in Mesopotamia , "Borz" - wolf. A wolf, not the strongest animal, but distinguished by courage, fights against a stronger one. Very devoted to a partner and in the event of his death, he remains alone until the end of his life, they do not create pairs for offspring, among their pack, until the death of their parents, they take care of them! In the circus, you can see any animals: lions, tigers, elephants, hyenas, crocodiles. There are no wolves in the circus!! In the eyes of your Borz, everything that has been said is reflected! This is the most beautiful name for this noble breed - BRAVO, Kian Rahmani!!!
Nice dogs but don't see what job its doing better than any existing breeds, no one is buying a working dog to do everything. Judging by the proposed name presumably its got Boerboel in there , i own a lean young male and the last thing I'd want to add is more drive .Seems to be looking for problems that dont exist ... Really looks like this is going down the line of a marketing exercise and money maker
I think that there is a common problem with all working breeds, people don’t need them like they did say 100 years ago. But they want them for their looks. But you can’t tell people they can’t have a dog because they don’t want to use it for its intended purpose, it’s a real conundrum.
@@Gundogges 100% these working dogs NEED constant work and engagment but i fear this breed will fall into the same category. I have friends with working dogs , dutch shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Bouvier des flandres , patterdale terrier, Springer spaniel all of which are worked hard and great dogs . I can't see this breed being better than a malinois, Springer or bloodhound in their specific jobs or being suited to a families couch potato life style. It seems like a breed created without a 'specific' purpose and just a personal mission looking for perfection that doesn't exist . Maybe it should stay a personal endeavour and not a quest to create a breed
I've been around many dog breeders, too many weirdos unfortunately who care more about their own egos than what's correct for their dogs. This guy is a legit top notch breeder who obviously cares about his dogs, you would be lucky to take one home as a member of your family. They are amazing dogs, I'm loving my Staffordshire Bull terriers they just fit my life but if I had more time and property I would 100% buy one of these amazing dogs!

@@YVONNEHEUINGS the rear is more muscular than a dobe In muscle and stance. I had a Dobe/Beauceron (doberon) that was just fantastic.
Seems like an incredibly legit breeder indeed ! Amen to that 🙌
Agree 1000%! Great man, great dogs!!
Are you dumb ? He cuts the ears and tail. ye fool
no, lets NOT clone this breeder. cropping ears and tails for NO reason...
For, four decades, I've had Doberman. Without a doubt this man has used the breed. I get the same intense stares daily. I've never thought a Doberman mixed with any other breed looked good, but whatever this man worked in there is actually pleasing. I cannot unsee the Doberman though, lol.
Same, I’ve owned 2 of them and I was thinking the same thing, you just can’t unsee the Doberman!!
Two females would probably work well together.
this dog looks like a doberman on steroids
Definitely Doberman and pit in there
5 here.
Funny how she’s mentioned the zombie Doberman from Rez Evil.
Remember, this is how EVERY breed started out... and look where they are now.
bullshit its about the money and vanity he needs to go sell carpets~
A bunch of shallow biting nerve bags that are based on a mismash of conflictive temperment breeding stock?
This is always the case for each episode, but this one stands out for some reason. Not only are the dogs truly beautiful, but so are the humans, both outside and in. Must be the magic of Canada, with all the snow and easy going energy!
The magic of Canada, maybe, but that magic is beginning to slip away with Trudeau at the helm! You can no longer even possess firearms of any kind. Regards, Denis Berte' USMC
Incredible dog. Dark poetry in motion. An off duty love bug.
@@primalcritters I agree. I do not really know what characteristics they looking for in show lines but they look very poor compared with working line.
She loves little kids and had nothing but a desire to please and protect.
but you'll need one dobie and one great dane or some active mastiff like dogo argentino to get a dog looking like canis panther
There's a whole lot more than just that. There's various Shepherd breeds, working line German shepherd, Belgian malinois, Dutch shepherd, American pitbull terrier, doberman, various Mastiff breeds and maybe some bulldog breeds and a touch of great dane. Possibly some whippet as well
I'd guess that many of your dog's qualities are directly linked to the time and work you've put in with her. You sound like a great owner.
@@quackslikeaduck cheers mate
Exactly! The next breed of choice for the dumb scallies out there!
Presa canario is way better
@@greyfriars6540 - So sad. It's almost always the wrong people who get these breeds, and then they get a bad reputation because of horrible humans.
If a breeder is breeding over sized dogs, hips should ALWAYS be tested as should hearts.
my fav part is the dobie eyes❤
The irony is that the Dobermann was developed by Louis Dobermann in the 1890s motivated by the exact same considerations that Kian is working with. In fact, his dogs in fact still seem to look a little like modern Dobermans. The Doberman, too, is an entirely "artificial" breed. Louis Dobermann was a municipal dog catcher, among other things, and his job gave him access to a large variety of breeds to work with in his search for the "ideal" protection dog. I still think Dobermans today are unique.
Indeed, Dobermann wanted the dogs to be athletic, muscular and very fast in order to protect against people and wildlife alike...
Well said brother.
Yes I’m not seeing much more of a Doberman with a little pitbull. Maybe a splash of malinois. His dogs are beautiful.
They even sound like dobermans lol they have a distinct sound
The Doberman was the Pit Bull of the 70s it had the same bad reputation due to irresponsible owners
This man has people writing a essay if the dog would make a good fit.
I wish more breeders were like this. It helps elimate compulsive decisions. 👍
This is a very nice well rounded dog. I’d be proud to own one. The breeder is educated and very responsible, as well as pro dog health. Good obedience! I hope he continues with his breeding and makes a better working dog.
Just fantastic canines! There is nothing like a working dog that works but a dog that can read the room is over the top!

i'd stay away from doberman lines as they're an unhealthy mess. i bet he used german pinscher, lots of malinois, some pitbull and beauceron and maybe a touch of whippet.
It takes several several generations of careful genetic selection to start getting a foundation and then you go from there
I love your content. TY for highlighting the need for "Working Breeds" over "show breeds". Daisy, my Plummer Terrier concurs.
I love how committed this breeder is, if more breeders were this way we would have animal shelters with seldom a dog in them...
contracts are ridiculous
@@erico2079no actually it’s not because too many people get dogs without realizing what a HUGE commitment it is & then dump them at a shelter where they’ll most likely (most of the time they do) get euthanized. Also things happen so again, instead of dumping the dog off & never knowing what happened to them or just thinking ‘oh I’m sure Fido got adopted & hes with a great family!’ When they are no longer living. A contract insures that said dog goes right back to the breeder also the breed reserves the right to take the dog back at ANY TIME if the contract is violated.

Sorry about you dog. It looks like a cane, pitbull, and my favorite-the Doberman!!
This man created an amazing breed! The dedication is mind blowing, would love to have one.
Nice to see someone bringing back dogs that have a purpose, especially a fellow Canadian.
Would have loved to know more about how he created the breed, as in what breeds and how long it took for him to have distinction
I guess we need to be patient for a while longer. Surely he will disclose these details, once his breed has been officially registered.
It’s doubtful he’d do that….way too many problems can arise with disclosing that info. I hope he never tells…maybe decades down the road, if then.
it looks like he used german pinscher, malinois, pit bull, and maybe some beauceron. it could have a bit of whippet in there too.

@@Animal-Watch Thank you for responding so quick. I hope you have a great day 🙏🏻😊
Really unique breed. They look great and are super responsive.
The pup should select you ...... that will give the best connection in training.

I love seeing breeders breeding for purpose rather than just aesthetics. This looks like a purposeful breed and one I’m excited to see more of.
2 females were used and 2 males and 1 puppy

Your dogs remind a lot of working line Dobermans, that is a real compliment. They are physically a little larger and we don't yet know how their intelligence measures up but your dogs are beautiful and if they turn out the way they seem to be headed, you'll be very successful.

Very well put! I agree
Agree 100%! 👍
I don’t know what else is in that genetic lineage but can unequivocally tell you Doberman and APBT are the dominant genetics.

What can this breed do they others can't?

Can I as please, what is the reason for tail and ear docking in these dogs?
Some dogs with “Floppy ear” will get creases that get infected and are hard to maintain. As for the tail, I’ve had mals and Dutch shepherd’s and my last mal had “happy tail” were they wag their tails so hard that they hit things, walls and such and then they break, re-break until they have to be removed. These things are very rare but happen enough to be a problem. My Dutchie had to have his happy tail docked at 3 yrs old and it screwed his balance up for a while. The process sucked. But on a whole 95% of dogs DONT need it.
To make them look more intimidating
Being a dog mom of a Doberman, Boxer, Belgian Malinois and a Rottweiller 🐶🐶🐶 I am beyond amazed of the breed that you are creating 🥰🐶💕 Absolutely in love and would love to meet your breed 🐶💕🐶
Amazing dedication and attention to detail. Beautiful dogs so fit and graceful.
These have definitely got Dutch mali in…
It’s the eyes and the intensity with which they stare at the guiding human.
Beautiful dogs. They look like Pit Bull/Dobermann mixes.
i agree, they might have a pinch of malinois but definitely mostly Doberman and APBT adba.
They're probably a linebreeding of doberman and bully. He had some old pictures of a doberman and a few bullies years ago and also a picture of a litter of this bully and doberman. The dog quite similar to his current dogs.
Agreed, I was thinking some type of bully or mastiff and Doberman and Malinois
@@FrankWhiteMutts Gotta wonder if there's some presa in there too
@@nicolestone6201 i dont think so
Those eyes just scream Malinois!! Beautiful doggo! !
Yeah, there are definitely significant parts of Malinois and Dobermann in those fellows. I would love the chance to work with one of those dogs for some days. Seeing them in a video is cool, but to really know, you have to work with them for a bit.
Looks and acts like he used Giant Schnauzer at some point
I love this guy, putting the "taken the dog back!" In the contract is awesome IMO. None of his dogs will be abused in any manner or be bred w/a skitzo dog.
I so appreciate you Anneka , for keeping it real and not being afraid to call out the show line breeders who could care less about retaining the true characteristics of working breeds.
American pit bull terrier x Doberman is what this looks like to me the loyalty and the attention span and willingness to please . I want one !!
Beautiful dogs, and just amazing to see them in action. While are understand it given you plan for them to be used for protection, I still take issue with the ear and tail cropping. Or did they somehow manage to breed for those ears and tails, because if so I would love to hear more about that.
No, at least the ears are definitely manually cropped.
@@1forelle Yes, they are ... and not very well done, which is weird, considering how much effort he put into his new breed. Or maybe he went for the ragged look on purpose, who knows.
I love the fact that they spent 10 minutes talking and telling us what they are not lol
Just give me a name faster lady 😆
Amazing beast. Great bloodline mixture ❤
When she was naming off the breeds I could see every single one in dog she was showing. Crazy breed. Just like any dog. Would be a handful and amazing to have fully trained
This guy is the most committed breeder in the world.
same guy who crops dogs ears?
@@sugargliderdude finally someone sane - all the praise for the breeder and this was my only thought
@@sugargliderdudeNothing wrong with ear cropping, only pussies make it such a big deal.
@@XPercussionThe man created an amazing looking dog and you’re bitching about ear cropping?
What a beautiful animal ❤
Great video as usual but, I don't see how they are any better than Alsatians, Dobermans, Rottweilers or Malinois.
That's because their not lol. I've been following best of both worlds for years. All he did was breed a female XL Bully to a male doberman. & She's trying to make this major point that it's not a canis panther. I disagree. Any bull breed bred with a doberman your gonna get similar results. This is his version of a canis panther.
Looks like a mix of Doberman, Pit Bull, & Cane Corso. Beautiful ❤
I have a doberman/cane corso mix, both parents papered, dad(doberman) got out and hooked up with the mom(corso) looks exactly like these dogs except I didn’t dock or crop.
The things this woman claims got me laughing out loud more than once 🤣
@User-43lpurxihgddyuyuudrstired Researchers have spent decades working tirelessly to decipher what you just said.
Best of both worlds… my money is on Doberman x Belgian Malinois. Maybe something with a muscular head like a pit sprinkled in. Beautiful dogs. And a beyond respectable breeder. Thanks for sharing!
They are very beautiful, intelligent, graceful and could no doubt be just as dangerous as lovely. Truly an amazing animal... ❤❤❤❤❤
❤️🙏
I agree with you on this part
Why crop the ears?
Why not? They’re performance dogs.
Aerodynamics
Look up how many wild animals have floppy ears. Carry-overs of domestication. The crop should be intended to restore a more ancestral, and apparently, evolutionary benefit.
Because they look as they suppose and for performance issues.
Working dogs, farm dogs get their ears ripped off.
Like 31 inches at the shoulder.
both the dogue de Bordeaux and doberman aren't very healthy breeds, i doubt he used either.
I am in love ! what a beautiful Dog breed! I look forward to owning one in the future, magnificent !
That’s brilliant
What an absolutely gorgeous dog!
Thank you!
@@kianrahmani7767 Yeah ok. I'm a dog man. Have been for many years. If you think you can fool me mixing breeds you have another thing coming.
@@kianrahmani7767now can you fix the bullmastiff for me please lol, awesome dogs glad you reside in Ontario.
Started from scratch with breeds other people bred!
did you expect him to domesticate a wolf, from a type that's extinct, that all dog breeds descend from?
Hahaha😂😂😂😂😂😂
Awesome dog's. Thanks for the video & information.
Gorgeous and this fella is switched on,no numptys getting these beauties
Hi Jamie. Kian says in the episode that ‘Borz’ is named after his foundation dog called Borz, nothing to do with breed type
@@Animal-Watch he did say it was his first dog so presumably that was its pet name ? Sounded like Boers dog when I heard it
@@Gundogges 100% these working dogs NEED constant work and engagment but i fear this breed will fall into the same category.
The Belgian malanois is better
How could you know? What factual info do you have in the comparison between a new breed and the awesome Malinois?
@@ronnyvega94nothing. It’s just emotion based nonsense

He is absolutely brilliant!
You should do an episode on Lee Robinson’s “American Sentinel K9’s.”They are amazing and beautiful dogs 💯💯💯
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I've been around many dog breeders, too many weirdos unfortunately who care more about their own egos than what's correct for their dogs. This guy is a legit top notch breeder who obviously cares about his dogs, you would be lucky to take one home as a member of your family. They are amazing dogs, I'm loving my Staffordshire Bull terriers they just fit my life but if I had more time and property I would 100% buy one of these amazing dogs!
