You guys are so adorable! that includes your bestie, Erin! Thank you for taking us along on your road trip! It was fun! I'm smiling! 😊 ... and I wish I knew what, what's crackin meant. 😂
"So llamas are going to be a lot bigger than their cousins. Their faces are also dissimilar: alpacas have small, blunt faces with short ears, while llamas have more-elongated faces with banana-sized ears. Another key difference is their hair. Alpacas have shaggy hair that is used for fleece production."." Personality - Alpacas are very gentle and shy, while llamas are very confident and brave animals. Alpacas are more comfortable as herd animals, while llamas are solitary animals." - good 'ol Google comes through again. There was a much longer explanation through their AI. (*love seeing the countryside and your fun times*)
This is such a beautiful country, Éireann. I always feel a connection to Ireland whenever I see pictures and videos of it. I can close my eyes and see myself in a field with a cliff, large rocks and boulders near the edge, and a lot of wind blowing my hair. Another life perhaps or too much TV in my youth. It's a bit amazing that you ever left at all. Seeing the world isn't as important when you're already in the best place you can be. Thank you for the tour! It was beautiful and I'm there now, long after you left, breathing in the pure clean air and smiling.💕💕💕
Thanks for bringing us with you! Such a beautiful country. Those were definitely alpacas. Llamas are much bigger. You can also tell a couple of other ways. Alpacas typically have bangs whereas llamas don't. Also, alpaca ears are triangular shaped whereas llama ears are curved, like a banana.
What a gorgeous country Ireland is! 💚💚💚 Llamas…alpacas…I learned the difference today! 😂 I love the fact that there are 3 Erins (yes I know the spellings are different but I only know yours 😆) in your bestie group! Devon is so chill…just out for the adventure! ❤❤❤
such a lovely video full of positive vibes showcasing the natural beauty of ireland, donegal especially is like a fairytale i cant explain it but its magical hope to see Mount Errigal one day :')
1. Ears: an alpaca has straight, pointed ears. A llama on the other hand has banana shaped ears. 2. Wool: Llamas have no wool that is used for garments, rather hair that protects but is not appropriate for a sweater or scarf. Alpacas are bred purely for their luxurious fleece which is one of the finest in the world. Alpaca fleece is available in more than 22 natural and beautiful colors, from ivory white until black and every shade of brown. Click here to see the natural garments of alpaca wool. 3. Face: The face of an alpaca is a lot fuzzier and woolier than a llamas face, which doesn't have so much hair. A llamas face is also longer while an alpaca's face is a bit more blunt, giving them a very funny, characteristic, and unique expression. 4. Size: The llama is a lot bigger and can weigh up to 400 pounds while alpacas are a lot lighter and weigh in at around 150 pounds. The llama can have a height of more than 110 cm, alpacas are generally not much taller than 90 cm.
Alpaca vs Llama - black and white And that's not all... 5. Purpose: Llamas are known as the "Ship of the Andes”. Their back is very suitable to carry heavy weights for long distances. Alpacas on the other hand, are all fleece and couldn't even carry a small child. 6. Personality: Alpacas are very gentle and shy while llamas are very confident and brave animals. 7. Strength: Alpacas can't protect themselves and need protection. Llamas on the other hand can and will protect themselves and therefor often serve as herd guards for alpaca breeders. 8. Character: Alpacas are very intelligent and can learn tricks. Llamas seem to be too confident/proud and arrogant for that. 9. Like minded: Alpacas are 100% herd animals and need tot be in a group to survive while llamas are more independent minded. And last, but definitely not least; the spitting... 10. Llamas are known for spitting quickly when they feel threatened, whereas alpacas are much more gentle and just spit as their last resort when they're really angry or scared. This can happen when they recently gave birth to a small alpaca. To make sure you know with which animal not too kiss or go through life fairly traumatized...
Great video, thanks for showing beautiful Ireland. I have been to Ireland and really would love to go back and see more, it’s such a beautiful country. 💕🇮🇪🇺🇸
As a spinner/weaver, alpacas are smaller with round faces and small eyes. Llamas have elongated faces and bigger eyes. Alpacas fleece can be curly or straight. It is used in spinning fiber for garments. Llamas fleece is denser and more coarse. It too can be spun in fiber and is used more in making sweaters, hats, gloves. Alpaca fleece is softer next to your skin . I've used both in weaving and knitting. Llama fleece make great rugs!
Ireland is my absolute favorite place in the entire world. I was really depressed when I had to fly back home to California 😢. Lol. I’m so glad you’re having fun!
Everything is so green! Nice to see you back in your homeland speaking the local vernacular. Do you speak Irish (Gaelic)? And do they ever spell it Aeryn?
an Alpaca is small and cute and a Llhama is bigger and more sassy, like a camel but without the hump 😂 Beautiful scenery there, aspart Irish, I would to visit 1 day!
One of the differences is Alpacas have shorter, pointy ears. Their fuzziness continues onto their ears, whereas llamas tend to have smoother and straighter fur around their ears. (Wikipedia)
In country as of this morning. Dublin is so modern, clean and smells wonderful. But anxious to see your back roads and live among locals. Tubbercurry Sligo Co still has great grandmother’s homestead standing: will be highlight of trip. Might need a job with Aer Lingus going on strike before our scheduled departure! 😮 Did bring a bathing suit because of your adventures.
Wow! The waterfalls were beautiful. I can’t believe you went in the water. The cliffs were amazing. I thought Dingle had big cliffs. I could sit and chill next to the cliffs too. I can’t believe I missed out on those cliffs when I visited. Thank you for showing sheep. I adore the Irish sheep. Not so much the poop that’s everywhere but I can’t get enough of the sheep. Cheers!
TH-cam autotranslate just decided you and your friends are all named Aaron lol! But how beautiful is this! I should definitely go and visit! Too bad the weather is generally as shitty as ours (I’m in the Netherlands), which kind of makes you run to the south when thinking about your next holiday location
I think it's somewhat of an odd time that you moved to Ireland... You had a brain tumor, had brain surgery, and then were in the process of that tumor in being diagnosed. And...You were still working with those doctors (I think). Probably not the route that I would have taken if I was in your shoes. But, that's just me.
I would’ve moved back home to my family when they found the tumour to work with doctors here but I wasn’t allowed to fly and needed immediate surgery. I had to wait 7 months to be able to come home so I was more than happy to get back 😊
I unsubscribed today bc i started to doubt your channel and i felt bad about that. But i do. No health updates, which is your choice, but i wondered what happened? It seemed so serious and then you dropped it from discussion entirely. The past few videos don't touch on it at all... so I see your focus has changed ? or the point of your channel is to show you enjoying your life with no health updates? Again, fine but a bit perplexing. I (and others) were so concerned and worried and sent you helpful tips, unanswered w no update... The best i can do is unsubscribe and just assume you moved back to Ireland for support and will spend happy days there? Best wishes.
My last update was my 6 month MRI 3 weeks and unfortunately I don’t have an update every week. My TH-cam was created years ago to document my memories with my loved ones and I decided to open up and share my health journey on the way. I do have health updates coming this week but I won’t have one as often as you’re expecting. I openly share my journey and advice for other people going through this but I also encourage them to enjoy every single day. My brain tumour is not my entire life and I will be enjoying time with my loved ones along the way. Thank you for supporting me up until this point. I really appreciated it and wish you the best 😊
The go fund me helped my family fly to Canada and care for me while I recovered from brain surgery. It also helped keep food on the table when I couldn’t work for a few months and my boyfriend lost his job for wanting to have the week of my surgery off. It helped us get a used car to take me to my appointments and then there wasn’t anything left. Thank you so much for your support up to this point 😊 Wishing you all the best as well!
@@ItsStabilityTime that sounds extremely stressful and frustrating. I’m so so sorry that you’re going through this and I wish you all of the best ❤️ I will definitely be praying and sending positive vibes your way. Thank you so much for your kind words and I’m hoping the same lol xx
After everything you've been through it warms my heart to see you enjoying yourself and smiling that lovely smile!
Lookin ahh
You guys are so adorable! that includes your bestie, Erin! Thank you for taking us along on your road trip! It was fun! I'm smiling! 😊 ... and I wish I knew what, what's crackin meant. 😂
How is the craic/what's the craic is common in Ireland when you meet someone and basically means how are you
Like the Derry girls, and the wee Canadian lad in the back.
Hahahahaha omg this was too funny 😂
Spot on 😂

They were Alpacas that you saw, llamas are bigger and have longer necks.
Hey! Congrats on your engagement, I really want to visit the Slieve cliffs, feck the Moher ones, over priced and over stated.
I made a wrong turn somewhere, I am supposed to be there….looks lovely. Smiling happy mom tears for you.

Brain tumors are so scary-so scared even watching this video after i recently watched your diagnosis video-so so scared
Llama larger, Alpaca smaller, alpaca = a mini-llama
