    Thank you, Good People, for helping to make this beautiful Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux so very, very special. She has often sent me Roses. In a mystical experience she assured me that my Momma was safe in Heaven. May she keep us all in her prayers.

    Very moving! Very beautiful! I remember reading " the biography of soul" and fell in love with St Teresa and her little way. I remember sobbing as I was reading about her death and how she died so in love with the Lord! Saint Teresa pray for us we too are little and we need to learn more from you! Pray that God gives us the grace that he so lovingly gave to you! Remember us everyday especially those of us who are disabled, as myself, and help us 2 find little ways to give glory to God add to show Jesus that we love him!

      @@clairstberry Your denial of the intercessory prayers of the saints is total folly. You deny yourself the entire celestial court. It sounds like you belong to one of those Schismatic protestant sects. They do not have the fullness of truth. Bury your pride and humbly ask Jesus to open your eyes.

    Very nice and a well said presentation. So far I read her book (The Story of a Soul) three times and don’t mind reading it again as it truly changed my life and attitude a lot. One or two of her shower of Roses must have fallen on me touching me with a lot of Grace to which I am very thankful to her continues prayers to all of us. May God be Glorified in His Saints, Amen.

    You forgot the part where Trerssa was taking care of the Sister that said your going to fast , your going to slow, The Saint noticed the Sister was having trouble cutting her bread , and without the Sister asking the Saint started cutting her bread , and the Sister actually gave her a smile , sorry for the misspelling of her name , and poor diction, I only have a 4th grade education, St , thressa had two sisters in the Convent , and as a gesture of suffering she would avoid them both , although she loved and missed them dearly , 🙏🏻

    wait wait wait, I just realised something, yes I know this was a few years back, but they married 1858!!!!!!!! I'll be doggon. 1858 Is the year St. Bernadette had her visions of the Blessed mother at age 14. Both these saints are my patron saints. Wow, that is just awesome.

    Thanks so much for this in-depth summary of the life and spirituality of St. Therese. I feel her prayers and loving intercession offered on my behalf quite often, and I have been signing all my letters with the salutation: "Peace, joy and unity in JMJT (Jesus, Mary, Joseph & Therese). If you entrust yourself to her prayers and "little way", you'll be amazed at how close she is to you. In fact, she will secure special graces for you because you took the time to watch & listen. May God bless and protect you always, Bro. Gordon Celender

    Just as a point of information in a good presentation at about 31:19 into the video, we do know what St. Louis her father said, irked after mass when they had reached home, he said something along the lines that he hoped it would be the last Christmas for such childish nonsense as putting small Christmas presents in her shoes (French custom). St Therese overheard the remark and whereas at one time due to chronic hypersensitivity she would have immediately broken down into floods of tears, she didn't, she became instantly very strong and calmly and lovingly placated her father who as I say didn't know she had heard his comments. She called the moment of shedding her hypersensitivity her "conversion".

    Surprised that Bob didn't mention St. Therese cure at 10-years-old virtue of Our Lady's intercession, who in the transformation of a statue of the BVM over her bed appeared to her smiling and instantly the incurably malady which had bedridden her, disappeared. The statue is now in the Lisieux Carmel.

    I think you should use the expression "everyday people",rather than" ordinary people" because I think
    that is one thing St.Therese made apparent .No one is ordinary.Everyone has a soul destined to live with God in Eternity.
    How can that be ordinary?

    • @Historian212
      @Historian212 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      "Ordinary" is a synonym for "everyday." They mean precisely the same thing. There is nothing pejorative about the word "ordinary," unless one uses it as the opposite of "special." This is also true of the word "everyday."

    Matthew 22:14 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
    Well done and you are so right about this: "We have the power to transform for the better and stop the cycle of extreme aversion and hostility. Theresa de Avila, or from wherever you want to call her, she did to come from a dismal and desolate background, she came from a bright, warm, nice, joyous , loving and responsive family. Yes, she was called little flower as in “lily”, because she was about to descend to lower and I mean LOW-er and become non other that Lily the little flower devil, all the way down here to the lower spheres of this Planet. Theresa was right that through FAITH, challenges and tragedies, great qualities come up to the surface, lucky for her, she died young. Just how I feel now, young and cognizant, and awake to the realities of the world and to the present danger. THERESE, really means a TREATISE, a written study of the subject of humanity, in this case Therese was used by Jesus to become ‘a living book’, a composition ,an essay, the main part of written work as proof and confirmation of the work of The Creator in our lives. She not only write one little book, she wrote the foundation of The Creator's Authority over everything, over every sentient being on this Planet Earth. NOW, is the time for change, and to go back to our original blueprint of moral conduct and Natural living. Throw away your ties and your pumps, you won't need them anymore.

    Can names be erased from 'the book of life" ? YES, God said regarding disobedient people in ancient Israel , now call The United States. "Whosoever has sinned against me , I shall wipe him/her out of MY book ". Exodus 32:33 But, if we prove faithful , we will remain in 'the scroll of life". Revelation 20:12
