- This Upgrade Can Turn Back Time! Time Travelling Super Monkey In BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - this is a concept for the 4th path super monkey and this one's got a neat twist - its ability allows you to replay a round over and over as long as you keep using it! Also featuring a 4th path dartling gunner showcase.

I think the reason the super monkey got two targeting options despite not having two arms is because the upgrade you bought is where the robo monkey normally would be, ie they are both considered 030 super monkeys so the game gives them both multiple targeting options.

When the super monkey wasn’t gaining attack speed I believe that was because it had to be 4th tier on the actual “chrono” upgrade
That’s what I thought too
I wish that basically all modded towers didn't have such crazy 5th tier upgrades which cost multiple paragons. Having to balance within a reasonable price forces the mod maker to make something creative which isn't just a shit ton of damage.

@@PluslePlayzYT i have an even better idea, a time traveler monkey that prevents Bloons from spawning altogether (it travels back in time and kills them before they were born)
I accually like the concept of this tower. Its unique. But it should have massive drawbacks as well as a more reasonable price so it doesnt overshadow the Temple.
The repeat round ability should only able to be used once in that round. As well as have a slower cooldown. Everytime you use this ability the cooldown increases by 20%. so it discourages farm abuse since abusing the ability means you might not have it when you need it most.
The ability to go back a round should be replaced with an ability that allows you to go back 10 rounds. However this ends up sacrificing the monkey in the process. It also locks off the 050 path so it cant be bought again. Making it an ultimate sacrifice. Maybe it should also happen automatically if the player runs our of lives.
The skip round ability is already balanced since it works like race events. Heck maybe make it so the cooldown decreases the more you use it consecutively.
All these nerfs would allow it to comfortably be a 350,000 cost upgrade.

The chrono ability applies to *super monkeys with the chrono UPGRADE* not the base 4th path.

They should balance the chrono ability of round back by making each round back count as one freeplay ramping round (maybe less if thats too harsh) but it would also mean that instakills would be very abusable in combo
I feel like it should instead end the round immediately
Cus restarting the round AND gaining att spd are both positives
Or just make the ability cooldowns as long as a druid or sniper
Or every time it could increase bloon speed by 20% (for that restarted round) or not give money after the first restart. I think it should be a risk reward instead of positive positive or positive negative.

@@default3623 yeah i agree with this, i have no idea how to make "go back a round" not op but at least for restart a round it could restart it then and there with bloons still on screen, with no round transition
I think a time based monkey is super sick and maybe having him focus around stasis type moves like slows stuns and all of that would be really cool

The game crashes because there are no set rounds for below round 1.
I’ve used it, round 0 makes $99 and sends you to round 1 instantly
@@delinep7286 yep i actually went even further back into the negative rounds (using the infinite t5s mod so i could have a shit ton of t5 4th path super monkeys) and they just instantly end
What if you try to go back before round 1? If the bloons are too fast for the ability recharge, you can use the ninja ability and buying/reselling the super monkey to maybe do it.
What comes before round 1? Is that where all the fortified bads hang out before they're needed? Can we finally beat freeplay once and for all in round 0??

All they have to do is to make 2 modded 4th path upgrade that together have all the possible crosspaths.

The reason for it having dual targeting options is bc the modder needed the x3x path so it could have an ability. And the x3x path is the robo monkey which has dual targeting :)
I wonder if that 4th path super gained 2 target prios b/c the mod replaced the mid paths with the upgrades, and maybe NK coded super monkeys to always unlock a second prio at 3rd tier mid path (as opposed to the “robo monkey” upgrade)
I assume that it shows 2 different targeting options because it replaces the robo monkey path.

u should try mixing this mod with the infinite tier 5’s mod and see what fun u can make of like 50+ abilities. jumping from round 1 to 51 and back again in an instant

I think the reason the two normal super monkeys were the same is because the ability only works on other level 4 of the 4th path super. Also the one round forward can be useful to skip a really hard round, that way you can skip round 100 if you don't have strong single target damage.
if you can afford a monkey that costs 2,7 million $ but can't beat round 100, something's wrong :D

Seeking is useful even if it has 1 pierce, because if the super monkey is far from the track it tends to miss a lot of its shots.
What happens if you time travel to round 141?
EDIT: really, any round after a challenge or game would be considered "beaten", like skipping to 101 on impoppable, skipping to 81 on hard, etc

I feel like the 4th tier could actually be more balanced and interesting if it like restarted the round and buffed all the bloons in the round, like say the bloons in the restarted round are 10% faster, I think that would make it a more risk vs reward upgrade and would add a lot of depth to it
The chronos are refering to the upgraded version so when you placed 2 normal super monkeys it wasnt much difference because it was supposed to buff monkeys with the chrono upgrade
That minecraft tower defense map brought me some memories
Balance idea: make the monkey permanent monkey speed boost work when you use the future power that sends you a round into the future but the ability also stacks. Also make the past ability only able to use 1-3 times per round OR nerf all towers with reduced attack speed or damage for that one round you are replaying
Isab u can use the powers in shop mod along with the robo farmers mod so u dont have to pick up bananas (the robo farmer mod will seem to not work when placing the farmer from the shop but it will apply the effect after placing).
I'd like to see a tower with a race button. Especially with no cooldown. I think that'd add a lot of fun to the game.

4th path dartling is just a top path super monkey. Knockback bullets instead of lazers and thats it.
When will this man remember that if you put a tower with an ability on an ice platform within range of an energizer it will give the full 50% cooldown reduction instead of the global 20% standard?

me spending 5 hours building up the perfect defense and travelling back to round 63 for revenge
Well the mod creators could do it they would just have the top path have the cheapest t2 path combined cost and the most expensive t2 combined cost for that path and the middle path would go to the bottem

You assume they "think", but they don't. Thinking even one second about the upgrade would mean they knew it's utterly broken.
