My Question to people saying they don't see nothing wrong with beautification is, Do they see people in Europe and America taking up meters away from their properties for beautification without permits ? Stop abusing the hospitality and tolerance of Gambians and their government. Health and safety of the people comes before beautification. I know all about that as I am living in the UK. They wouldn't even dare do it in d first place in America or Europe

Mr.Manneh most of the time, is not worth your time trying to make your point in the heat of the moment..I say in this kind of operation knowing full hand what your mission and duties are to our Nation, all you need to do with people who don't want to comply is cut through the chase with them and demonstrate a cut and dry rule by simply making your decision a statement of straight to the point by telling them take those illegal 🚫 structures down NOW because it is against the law of our Land and then keep it moving on to the next illegal obstructions..Most of the time people just want to argued fior the sake of want to be so desperately right ✅ by been honestly wrong in their judgment for their irresponsible actions..Ironically, people tend to respect actions with concise words more than fighting with defensive words..Great work guys for setting the boundaries and drawing the line on the sand.

Gambia is here to served all who respect the Law of our Nation's customary services and should not take Gambians hospitality and kindness for granted but respect Gambian Laws at it utmost regards like anyone or a law abiding citizens would do in any other country or faces repercussions and consequences of their actions for not complying in accordance with the laws.

Gambia is small and easy to develop but not an easy country to manage unless we all come together collectively as Gambians under one umbrella for the sole purpose and interest of Gambia 🇬🇲 by putting all our differences aside when it comes to the interest of the Nation and NOT the interest of the very few individuals who wants to privileged themselves over the majority of the Gambian people..This is were the problem lies and must be revisited to balance the Justice ⚖ of the law of the Land and let Justice guide our actions.

By creating a pavement where people can walk and not trip up on the unpaved, uneven, littered, government owned, side of the road, ironically called a side walk; can hardly be endangering people's lives. Yes it is not my country, it is our country, we the citizens and visitors, and it is our duty to clean it and make it better for everyone else. Concreting over mud and dirt to create a side walk and parking is not endangering people's life: it ensures that pedestrians get off the road to walk safely on an even surface away from traffic.
