even Neru looks like she's about to cry.... her tear filled face and then Len's smile as a responce, Kaito and Meiko's faces... can't stop crying TT-TT
A nice video showing a good walkthrough of the series up to the end of Servant of Evil. Personally, I think the one who embraced Rin at the end is her 'evil self', because she finally realized just how bad she was, but also realizes it's too late to change it, so she's stuck 'embracing the sins of her evil side' forever.
I love how Kaito's walking with the flowers all happily then he sees the fire XD I was just thinking "THAT FIRE IS HUGE! YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN IT FROM EVEN YOUR OWN KINGDOM!" (even though is his eyes were closed, can't he smell smoke or something? XD)
I love this story more than anything else. Its just something about the sense of sacrifice and sadness for a person you love. It just became imprinted in my heart as my favorite story. I want to learn to play this song.
I'm sure people already know this, but this clip is basically called 'the story of evil' meaning that all versions of the one event was mushed in together. So, meaning that both Meiko and Kaito knew who they were killing. In Kaito's version, it was also revealed that he realised who had died and had killed himself believing that Miku had loved him when in truth, she was in love with Len.
It's actually a continuation after the daughter of evils song. This song is called Servant of Evil and its supposed to be sung by Len, you can find it with him singing it too. ^^
She is named Ney Futapie in this story and used to be a servant too, she was the one who killed Michaela (Miku) not Allen (Len), her story is even deeper since she is a reincarnation of a girl named Gretel, which is the same girl of Abandoned on a Moonlite night and one of Conchita's servant, Arte :3
Riliane was destined to be her reincarnation but something went wrong and Hansel wasn't born on that time and Ney was Gretel Haha you don't know what is confusing until you get to know who Levia and Behemo are or about the sin vessels etc etc Welcome to the Evillious Chronicles
Heh, this depiction of SoE!Neru makes me chuckle 'cause she's depicted as this innocent girl who's kinda sweet on Allen while he's in disguise and then a few years later mothy revealed that Ney (Neru's SoE character) was a psychotic assassin who is also Allen's half-sister.
Akita Neru, in the Story of Evil/ Original Sin Saga she is the sister of Prince Kyle Marlon (Kaito, in the Daughter of Evil) and a spy disguised as a servant in Rilliane's (Rin's) castle. More information on her and Prima (Kaito and Neru's mother) can be found in the song Handbeat Clocktower.
Que lindo! me dan ganas de llorar, es una melodía extraña que me lleva a un sentimiento de melancolía y tristeza aunque realmente no sé qué dirá la letra, nada más que la asemejo a mi situación amorosa y me entristece bastante.. saludos.
@ it, she also sees an 'illusion' which is Len's spirit where in Regret Message, His wish is that if they were born again, they be twins and could play together then too. So far that i've seen, Neru doesn't really have a part so far that I've seen, But I do understand that according to this variation, she is a prison guard. Often times in Anime you'll see if someone is locked away in high-security cell that they are never released from that cell and food is brought to them by a prison guard.
@JohnnyLProductions Len heard the bell chime and he nostalgically says "Oh, it's time for a snack." being he's Rin's servant as well as brother. The crowd was not aware that was the servant being killed rather then the guilty one, the princess. The girl with the ponytail was Akita Neru, another servant of Rin's castle. I'm guessing Len's ghost hugged Rin.
oh my god. no matter how many times I watch this. seing KAito's teary face and sad horrified expression always manages to choke me up. same with Len's smiling face while eating the proidge (or soup whatever it was) in the dungeaon
did you know, Kagamine Len's song "Servant of Evil" will become a monthly manga on Comic Rush, beginning in November's issue. The artist is known as Nekoyama Miyao. I can't wait ^.^
@CarolineandEmmaShow (I'm guessing) Neru was the girl made to bring food to the prisoners of Rin, and realized with horror that the Rin-prisoner was actually Len. Hence her mourning when the blade fell.
Aww...poor, poor, poor Katio! He was ready to give Miku a present-pretty flowers-and he sees the village on fire. And the way he's soaked with tears and Meiko takes pity on him is also sad ='( Brings tears to the eyes. And how Rin seems to be crying at the end.
@animefan462 Akita is basically the jail keeper, Len has to stay in jail until the time of his execution (3 o clock) so she just has to make sure he doesn't run away. They apparently have some time to kill so they talk and Neru learns Len's story and feels sorry for him. Which is why at 3:50 she is sobbing over his death.
@lilpunkyZ Well, in Daughter of Vengeance (Meiko's song), she makes it known that she knew. In Prince of Blue, Kaito actually never knew. He thought he succeeded in his revenge.
1)daughter of evil 2)servant of evil 3)message of regret 4)re_birthday please watch in this order plz, xDDD yeah, ttly love this song. its magnificent how they pushed in one big story in just four songs. simply one of my favourites.
@cyberwolfy37 Actually if you watch Len's song "Servant of Evil", it kinda shows that nobody had loved Rin as a child because she was the heir of the kingdom, but only Len cared for her because he knew that she could smile and act like a normal child. When he fell for Miku, she was afraid that she might lose Len and have nobody. So yeah, that concludes my explanation. xD
@xoxAzralxox Its the story of the daughter of evil (instrumental version) first, theres Daughter of evil (Rin Kagamine's Version), then there's the Servant of Evil (Len Kagamine's Version), then Message of Regret (Rin), Re-Birthday (Len), and finally Daughter of White (Haku Yowane's Version)
I can see two reasons why Neru was in this one, and it was to state two things, Neru apparently is the guard of the cell Len is put in or something to that extent, and from facial expression, it looks like Neru fell in love with -whoever- was the person in that cell, whether it was boy or girl, and Len simply gives what he can to her heart, then executed, neru cries just like Rin. and other versions don't always matter, for all you can know, story of evil is Neru's version. whos to say
omg, so pro, this story was way too epic for 1 song, so they put it in 4 and made a fking anime :D instrumental thing, well, nicely made, but you didnt add the story of the last 2 songs, where they get rebirthed and are all friends with eachother as vocaloids D:
For those that don't know why neru is involved just search "heartbeat clocktower" it shows what's happening on kaito's point of view after Len and miku died and stuff.........
@lilpunkyZ Meiko knew it wasn't Rin from the second that she caught the "princess" But she decided that as much as it went against her morals, that if Rin wouldn't be killed, she needed to be punished and be taught what it's like to lose someone who loves you. Thus she allowed Len to beheaded instead of Rin. Kaito was not told of the switch. Meiko kept it to herself. In some versions it's to honour Len's wish of saving Rin, in others it because she knows Kaito is out for Rin's blood.
@peechyprincess not quite. but yes. If you watched each section of the story of evil, you'd see how it rolls. Yes, the 14yr old princess is Rin, her seperated at childhood twin Len becomes her servant to protect her, RIn does fall for Kaito and Len for Miku, Miku actually falls for Len (according to the story as I've seen it, but in secret somethings, must seduce Kaito to bring down the evil reign, which angers rin enough to kill Miku, Which angers Kaito who gets with Meiko and go to take rin
@Sandfur900: Neru don't know but if you watch Meiko's version, you will see her side of the story which known as the Daughter of Vengeange. It tells her version which, like nearly all of the Evil Series, end with the sacifrice of Len.
@watersummerpearl Well I was originally answering Sara's comment because she wanted to see an anime version of this series and the manga is the closest thing. Does it really matter how much "error" is in the manga and the video? Just because it doesn't follow the novel exactly, doesn't mean we won't/can't appreciate it. Thank you for letting me know about the novel translations nevertheless, I'll check it out.
well, my guess goes on with the story of the novel. In it, rin ordered len to kill leon, who was meiko's father. Having killed both leon and miku, meiko and kaito wanted rin to suffer the pain of losing a very (probably the most ) important person, so they decided to kill len.
@skorpios It's not a band. Vocaloids are synthesizers used to create songs. It's a computer program anyone can use. There are different characters and they look like anime characters. It's pretty much a fandom-run thing.
Because it is mentioned when AKITA NERU like Ren by formula setting of her, she appears in the animation as a girl of the childhood friend of Ren. AKITA NERU noticed that Ren became the victim of Lin. She is symbolize the audience of the animation which you mourn over death of Ren purely, and shed tears.
@Letamaru Haku's story is a fanmade. Story of Evil is Daughter of Evil and Servant of Evil. The real story, i mean. There's more two extras in time-line and...
@EmoedAura Actually I think that Len took Rin's place because he saw the good in her that others never got to see. When the two were together, Rin was kind and smiling to him. So he wanted her to live on and hopefully realize that she needed to change, if not for herself, then for him. This is just my guess anyway.
even Neru looks like she's about to cry.... her tear filled face and then Len's smile as a responce, Kaito and Meiko's faces...
can't stop crying TT-TT

Len you are such an amazing brother! The way you sacrificed yourself for Rin like that
The people who take the time to make these videos are amazing.
XD)

Even without words, through pictures, this can make people cry.
A really really touching story created...geez...i've already cried my eyes dry..
whoever made this made Meiko look so awesome X3
the into sounds like the start of a music thats playing for royalty and then changes like they were killed/defeated.
Great song love it!
Dude it was fawsome, i understand better with the vocals involved and just the music, good job. ^^
This is so pretty!! *W*
this is beatifully drawn and i cant stop crying POOR len T^T
I cried.
It's just so sad... ;A;
And the song is just so beautiful, sounding happy, yet expressing pain and agony at the same time...
OMG!! this is a fantastic!! x'3
ahhh, now it makes more sence :D
thank you :)
it luked lik meiko knew who he was??
luv it...thanx for the upload..

oh my gosh, it's just too sad! I almost cried, I can like watch it over and over again
I cried hard enough when I watched the original series, and this just made me bawl all over again.
OH HOW I HATE/LOVE SAD THINGS.
rin was like she doesn't know that len will be killed but nice video!
Muy buen resumen de la historia ^^
I cried when I heared this. Awe Len what is with your habit of dying. I think we need to talk about this. Good job on the video the music is lovely
I love to read everyone version of the story it make my story more colorful its like kniting a big quilt :D made of vocaloid :D
Wow I can't remember the last time I heard of Vocaloid, let alone any animations to there songs!
It's actually a continuation after the daughter of evils song. This song is called Servant of Evil and its supposed to be sung by Len, you can find it with him singing it too. ^^
i hope mothy does neru soon i wanna know her side of the story

legoharleen wait i thought rin was the reincarnation of gretel and the servant, man this story's confusing

Haha you don't know what is confusing until you get to know who Levia and Behemo are or about the sin vessels etc etc
Welcome to the Evillious Chronicles
Oh my god, the memories! ;_; I watched this all the time as a kid~!
Increible trabajo, me gusto mucho.
creo que solo te falto tomar en cuenta re_birthday.
@LunaStarPictures that's tragic, but it was a good tragic story... wow, that's so classic. nice job... who ever made his up.
Beautiful animation!!
@DarkHeartzz021 OH THANKS for bringing JB into this master piece we all bow down to you with our thumbs up
que lindo!
quedo genial.
En eso también incluyes "la hija de verde" (la version de Miku) y "la hija de la venganza" (la version de Meiko) No recuerdo como se llama la version de Kaito, pero estoy segura de que tenía una.

so many songs that is connected to other vids which is like a great episode XD
This is my favourite Vocaloid story!

At 3:44 when Meiko and Kaito closed their eyes at the sight, it is enough to fuel your imagination and make you burst into tears.
i cried, after seeing every PV i stil freakin cried......
ugh....damn emotions :'[
This is the best story of all vocaloid. It made me cry even though I know the story well.
I wouldn't mind learning to play this on the piano...this looks like something cool
Akita Neru, in the Story of Evil/ Original Sin Saga she is the sister of Prince Kyle Marlon (Kaito, in the Daughter of Evil) and a spy disguised as a servant in Rilliane's (Rin's) castle. More information on her and Prima (Kaito and Neru's mother) can be found in the song Handbeat Clocktower.

this song makes me strangely happy O_o

The girl with the ponytail was Akita Neru, another servant of Rin's castle. I'm guessing Len's ghost hugged Rin.
I like how at the beginning its like, playing the servant of evil or daughter of evil in piano with the other piano.
WOW!!! I Really like the piano too
oh my god. no matter how many times I watch this. seing KAito's teary face and sad horrified expression always manages to choke me up. same with Len's smiling face while eating the proidge (or soup whatever it was) in the dungeaon
Ahh beautiful music!!(Meiko drinking..i couldnt help laughing .......)
The girl with the long yellow hair is Neru Akita. She's also a VOCALOID.
you can't help but cry
did you know,
Kagamine Len's song "Servant of Evil" will become a monthly manga on Comic Rush, beginning in November's issue. The artist is known as Nekoyama Miyao.

Awesome video :I Nothing else can be said.
@TheLuckySara An official manga has already been released. You can read the first chapter on mangafox if you search up aku no meshitsukai. :)
thanks for explaining know i finally understand :), but now im sad :(

yeah, ttly love this song. its magnificent how they pushed in one big story in just four songs. simply one of my favourites.
2:00 canon progression flaunts itself shamlessly
Man did u make this?
i am forever glued to this story.
This needs to be made into a movie!! >
thanks now I get the story!
