The utility command to send design wirelessly works on the new Brother NQ 1700e. Love it!
You help us to feel like the little engine that could...I think i can, i think i can 😊
This is absolutely adorable! I don't have embrillience, but it's on my wish list for all the wonderful designs you can create, merge, etc.
You're one of the best at teaching us how to use what we have and it's a fantastic treat for us learners. I now to the Queen Bee! 🐝
Thank you so much!
Correction! This suggestion is for the sewing version only. This tutorial today is perfect for those who do not have the Scanning Mat ( no sticky on it). But if you have the Scanning Mat, in the Kimberbell Cutie table topper booklet there are printed outlines for the files so I was able to print that page that has the Sept Owl designs and scan into my Scan and Cut directly with the scanning mat ( has no sticky on it ) - and then pressing on heat and bond on my fabrics, removing the paper and putting the fabric down ( heat and bond side down ) on the turquoise mat, and then cutting my pieces for the 4 owls on the Scan and Cut.. Bingo bingo bingo and it was done!! Great shortcut for those with the Scanning Mat.
Thank you so much. Gretings from Ukraine!
Looking through your window behind your sewing machine, looks like there is snow on your grounds. So funny.
I think that all the time too - especially in winter. lol
Good Morning Becky……I love you videos!! You are so easy for me to follow….and I’ve learned so so much! you probably figured this out already…..dime exquisite thread is in the drop down menu….it is under Poly ….have a great day! Keep up the great work!
Yep, someone told me that yesterday. I love this channel because I learn from all of you too!
Those bees are so adorable!! Wish I saw those when I did mine... But you gave me ideas for the next one.
Hi Becky, it's my first time on your channel and I'm blown away by your creative process and use of technology. You're a fantastic teacher and artist, I really appreciate you for sharing everything about your method. I do free-motion quilting on domestic and am looking for ways to convert my svg files(fmq patterns) into embroidery files, and this video really helps. I think I'm gonna hang out on your channel to learn more about machine embroidery. Thank you so much!
Just got my transfer cable in the mail, Yaaaaa Can't wait to get mine done. My new computer has been here and I've played with it a bit but that is about it. I was hating the thought of having to redownload all my fonts in my computer and all my fonts in my programs. This is going to save a lot of time. Thank you.
I hope it works! Please post back and let me know. Fingers crossed!
Becky…I’m so excited. At the last Dime class I broke down and finally got a monster hoop and the thread ripper. Can’t wait to get them. I am wondering if it’s possible to add stippling around a design in Embrillance. Thank you for all you do for us viewers to help us learn how to use what we have better.
You will love them!
I’m so excited! Becky, in Embrillance, when you talk about sending your file wirelessly via the Utility tab, using Send to Solaris/ XP1, I gave it a try just to see if it would work for my Brother Stellaire, and it did!! Woo-Hoo! I assumed I had to have the Luminaire or Solaris, but something you said made me think maybe all I needed was wireless capability. Thank you for the inspiration!
I'm so happy you posted this. It makes sense because the wireless technology in both machines is the same, just like on the PR1055 multi-needle. That's awesome! I'll be sure to mention it the next time I do this type of tutorial. Thanks! You're a wealth of info today! LOL
@@PowerToolsWithThread, LOL! You give so much to us, I'm tickled I can contribute something back! I really enjoy watching and listening to your shows. I feel like I'm with a good friend!
Another great video, always learn something new when watching.
Thank you!
Thank you, Becky for this great video. I was hoping you would do one on merging and color sort was just an added bonus. I just bought the Embrilliance and had done a similar bee design for my August topper. This was really enlightening.
Thanks so much Becky! FYI… there is a preferred thread name I use for Exquisite thread in Embrillance, it’s “Poly X-40 or Exquisite”.
YAY!!! Thank you! Found it! I'm so happy you posted this comment. 😀😊
@@PowerToolsWithThread yay! so glad!
Instead of cutting 4 pieces for the beehive, could the design be modified to just have a single piece that needed to be cut, since the fabric is the same for all pieces?
I supposed you could. I'd print out the embroidery design of just the hive and then trace it on a piece of printer paper and then scan it into the ScanNCut to create the single hive outline. Then you'd need software like Simply Applique to import the hive fcm into the program and then Convert to Applique.
Becky, seems like it would have been much more efficient to cut the hive in one piece and the door as one pieces. And let the embroidery border separate the pieces.
I agree. I stitched it the way the digitizer designed it.
@@PowerToolsWithThread thank you. I thought it might be a more advanced idea after I posted.
Oh what a wonderful tutorial. I was gifted an older scan n cut. It does have Wi-Fi but not sure it will send to my luminaire. I also have a cricut maker and silhouette, so do you think the scan n cut would be best to use?
I don't have those other machines so I have to prefer the SNC.
I have the same heat press :) but it’s so dirty from all the heat and bond :/
What are using to clean it without damaging Teflon? Thank you
Use LA's Totally Awesome from the Dollar store on a cool iron. Works great.
Is there a way to cut one piece for the entire hive?
I wish there was! I'm making it like the digitizer designed it.
Help! Is there a way to download embroidery designs on an Apple computer to a USB stick? It seems my Bernina 770 QE only understands the downloads from a PC.
Wish I could help but I'm a Windows girl and I don't know a thing about a Mac.
