Tlc should be taken off the air. This show, and all the 90 day fiancé franchise shows should be taken off the air. Every single one of these shows contains abuse of someone. It's sickening and disturbing that TLC promotes it, and people get a kick out of watching it. I stopped watching 90 day after Angela and Michael and this show after last season
Kody's stronger connection with Janelle was she was a financial wife, she was the bread winner. I think this is why her leaving was a problem for him. Robyn is a liar in so many ways.

Robyn is doing everything in her power to make Christine look bad. What I don't understand is that Kody and Robyn for years have been saying if you don't want to be in this marriage leave.Now that this happened, Robyn and Kody are mind blown. Why is Kody so upset over a divorce with a woman he supposedly never loved.
It hurts his feeling and makes him look bad. Before they left, he was the handsome ( he thinks), virile guy who ( he portrayed) kept four wives sexually satisfied. Now the truth comes out….
Kody did say for years, if you're unhappy, you are welcome to leave. And he denies it but Christine DID try to talk to him, many, many times, for years, about her unhappiness. And we saw it on season 18, when he told her their physical relationship was done. He has zero excuse for being shocked when she finally made the decision to move on. Also, Robyn feigning ignorance about Christine's years of misery is equally ludicrous. She knew it all. And she didn't care. I personally don't believe she wanted to be a sister wife. She wanted Kody to herself & her kids & she wanted the money the show brought. And initially the fame, which unfortunately for her, turned into infamy.
I think it doesn’t matter what the test is she took, what matters is how easily Robyn lies and just turns it that Christine actually filled it out for her. There are so many examples of Robyn just lying throughout the show. She’s not a nice person.
Kody is a narcissist. That’s the reason why he doesn’t take into account the other wives experiences. He’s in “distress” because a wife walked away from him and his ego was burned.
Kody seems to have a hard time dealing with women in authority. Suki, as the hostess/interviewer, she has a certain authority in deciding the direction of the show, and he really bucks up against that. He threatens to shut down if he loses control.
Last seasons he seemed to be trying to intimidate Suki. He wouldn't answer questions, being passive aggressive and his whole body language was odd putting that if Suki pushes more he will walk off or snap.
Suki is just as aggressive as TLC wants her to be. I don't think it's up to her. We all know that if challenged Kodi will just storm out. He can never admit to being wrong in any way.
See I have heard from different Sister Wives deep dive channels plus friends of the family/neighbors... That Kody refuses to do these tell alls/interviews with a male interviewer. My guess is because he feels he can dominate the conversation with a woman but would get challenged by a man.
I think Christine has been in a loveless miserable relationship for almost 30 years. She finally found someone who loves her. I think it would be hard not to be gitty😊
She found someone who was nice to her. There is a difference. It’s super easy to mistake that for love when you’ve just left an abusive relationship that didn’t have it
She's giddy because her experience is teenage level with new relationships. I'm hoping she remains happy and David continues to be her rock. She deserves it.
You can tell that even back when Robyn was telling her kids that Christine and Janelle weren’t coming to thanksgiving.she was so upset and was saying “I wonder if the kids are going to start thinking the family doesn’t want to hang out with them”. Robyn had told her kids the whole time the news putting the other wives and kids in bad lights. So the text chain was the same. Robyn wants all the kids young again to give her kids the same life refusing to understand that they are now adults with lives. She couldn’t call all the shots and negative downward spiral ensued.
I think this is a huge elephant in the room. Those youngest 3 kids, Truely, Sol, Auri didn't have the same experience growing up as the others and I think that's normal. The world isn't going to stop turning because she wants all the other kids to come watch her kids open their presents....oh wait she doesn't want them in her house or near her kids in person.
I think Robyn and Kody are pretending to have problems to hopefully keep filming. I won’t watch another season with Robyn getting to be a punk taking pot shots with no accountability.
TLC really needs to show Robin the clip of her taking the personality quiz. Would be interesting to see how she blames Christine for that. She would probably say Christine somehow edited it.
I think all that lovey stuff is due to her background and being married to a man who basically told her over and over that he didn’t love her, that he didn’t find her attractive and never getting any kind of romance. Hopefully David loves her and is good to her- she is a beautiful lady and deserves it.
I don't think Christine could have done worse than Kooty. David was a single father of eight kids for over ten years. I can't see Kooty taking care of kids on his own and running a business. At least he tried curing her "nacho " pain and embarrassment. She said that they are both fulfilling things they always wanted to do. Hence the travel.
She literally said “and that was when” if you know when, it happened. But she quickly changed her words to make it seem insignificant. I wish they would have showed the results of all of their tests. I also wondered if Robyn was upset by the therapist giving her HER results and that is why she was absent the next morning and kept calling the therapist questionably not safe. Blah blah. That’s what it seems like for sure
Christine has been married to Kody since a young age. She has not been treated in a loving manner from the beginning and has done everything to keep Kody happy. We all saw how terribly he treated her for the whole world to see. That must have been so humiliating and especially sad for her. An adult woman with 6 children who is treated like a replaceable piece of furniture, useful when you need it and you push it aside without emotion when it gets in the way. Then she is strong enough to leave Kody and start a whole new life, which will not have been easy. She has left everything familiar behind and then finds David. He is a widower with 8 children who he raised after his wife died and seems to be sweet, strong and loving. She falls in love and acts like a young woman in love because she has never felt real love and attention. She has fallen head over heels for David and there is nothing wrong with that. For some it may be "exaggerated like in the movies" and for others it may be just right, but what is most important is that it feels right for Christine! No one can walk in her shoes and feel what she felt. I hope that she can be so in love for a long time and behave like a teenage girl and then turn into deep adult love, she has had to wait many, many years for this and I wish her the best.
The problem is she all she has to relate to is Cody anyone halfway decent gonna look better than that and it’s super easy to fall into another abuse of relationship because of that it happens 99.999% of the time when a woman leaves a bad relationship, she finds her self directly into another one with the first guy she meets, and guess what Dave was the first guy Christine met and she’s all ready married within a year that’s not good sides at All.

Duh. Robyn took the test and the I don’t recall and multiple excuses , leaning toward Christine feels like she has an attorney. Everyone else remembers the test, answers of others, not exactly. Kody waxes philosophical because he’s ignorant enough to think he can repair his reputation with viewers. Nah. I’m supporting Meri, Janelle and Christine. TLC caused this mess. When will we all learn they harm minors and families?
I havent seen the full episode where they take the test, but I am guessing Sobyn got 'sick' after she took the test, and bailed out while the rest of them kept going. Because Sobyn is injured by therapy too. I mean.... is there anything that DOESNT injure her?
Meri, Janelle and Christine were somehow enticed into being with this man who is a deceptive, sponging hypocrite. He loves himself and believes he is the centre of the world he has created. I feel for the children who have had to watch their mothers be humiliated and degraded and has lived financially of them
I find the entire family emotionally challenged. The polygamist bubble doesn’t seem to foster healthy interactions with the rest of the world. Saying that I don’t mind Christine’s love bubble. When I left an abusive relationship I cut my hair, started wearing bright clothes. The endorphins were released and I felt powerful. It propelled me past the trauma and aided me in navigating life. I think the family has been in a trauma bond. Living a life where you hide your true self because of the threat of arrest, negative feedback has to warp you.
Robyn was classic liar about the personality test. I would have laughed out loud as the host interviewing Robyn. When she blamed Christine I would have shut that down until we had answers. TLC needed an Andy Cohen to call Robyn out!
Wait....Kody has a soul??? Christine's response to David reminds me of an inexperienced giddy teen-aged girl. Which, when it comes to dating and relationships, she is. I am so hopeful that this will work out and is forever!
I think that she seems this way because she didn’t have the opportunity to go through that stage in her earlier life. I personally don’t have a problem with her being a little giddy. If she and David are happy with each other then I am happy for her.
I've been married for 30 years, and I can ask my husband today how he saw me in our first year or two and he will explain it much like Christine describes David. I think the key is, if you are coming out of a very painful first marriage, you are so grateful for kindness. I know I sure was. Still love my husband this way.
I'm always just left speechless by his disassociation with reality. He has no awareness of anyone or anything outside himself. It reminds me of a toddler who's throwing a tantrum because they can't have what they want regardless of the fact it could hurt them.

James from My Take on Reality gives great insight as to why TLC does not show smash cuts of contradictions made on the show by the cast. He believes that Kody is appealing to newer viewers that have not viewed the show from season 1. The older viewers are aware that Kody and Robyn are lying.
Kody on National TV: I never loved or was attracted to Christine. Christine being asked about dating: yeah, Im a little nervous since the guy I was married to for 30yrs apparently was never attracted to me or loved me. Kody: HOW DARE SHE BADMOUTH ME TO THE KIDS. He just drives me crazy with his mental gymnastics. How he can publicly bash Christine, say to millions of people that we never loved her. And then somehow makes himself out to be the victim when she simply says how his statements and actions for 30 years makes her hesitant to date again. She's simply stating a fact HE made public. That is not bashing him to their kids, the kids already know that. HE said it on TV. Plus they lived it and saw how he treated Christine. I really wish someone would call him out and hold him accountable
Great recap & I agree about Christine & David. The thing that was so infuriating with Robyn's denial wasn't just her saying she didn't take it, but immediately finding a way to once again throw blame on Christine by saying that she must have taken it for her.
After 30 years of neglect or at the least, indifference, she sounds like a teenage girl in love. I truly hope it’s real and that it last. But like you it seems rushed. However I married my husband after 3 months and we will be celebrating our 25 anniversary in 2024. Sometime you just know. At least she found someone who cares about her opinion, wants and needs. A good father figure and a person that doesn’t blame everyone else for his shortcomings!
I married my husband too after 3 month and were together with a great marriage until he passed after 45 years, but she acts like a half baked teenager and reality hasnt hit them yet, wait until all the hoopla and undeserved adoration goes away and eventually it will, see what happens then
If Christine worked and fought for over 2 decades to make it work with Kody, without the cameras then still tried for another decade... I think she and David will be just fine. David is the polar opp of Kody and I would be giddy too. I see them spending time traveling and enjoying being grandparents as the yrs go by. Christine will be in her element and David will be appreciative after being a single father to 8 for so long. 8 +13, they will be too busy with grands and trips and learning each other... I wish them both the very best
I’m glad that you were able to actually tie that personality test to the one they actually took. It proves that Christine did not take the test test for Robyn but that she actually took it for herself. She apparently just didn’t like the results.
Christine is a free woman. Of course, she acts like an adolescent with a crush on David. She loves him. Or loves that he doesn't limit her. He lets her shine. This lady is coming off 30 years of Kody crushing her spirit and minimizing her. So of course, she's giddy and annoyingly exuberant right now. She's had her 1st taste of freedom. No one is upset that Christine is happy. People are concerned, rightfully so, with how’s she’s acting towards David, the speed in which the relationship has progressed, and our knowledge of Christine’s life and emotional states. By pointing out concern no one is taking away from Christine.
@brite1217 it feels fast because of how far behind the show is compared to real time. I think we all have concerns over whether David is the right guy or just the 1st guy after Kody. But that's not what I was responding to. Those concerns are a far cry from saying, she's not in love, she's in lust. How would he know? Is he privy to her inner thoughts and feelings? He said she's over the top and annoys him. That's what I'm responding to. How about giving Christine some credit? She's probably drawn to David because *so far* he's the opposite of Kody. At the end of the day, Christine is a 51 year old woman. Let her live her life. Hopefully, it goes well for both her and David. But if it doesn't she will learn from it and move on. I mean, we know she's a fan of divorce, right? 😂🤷♀️
@@katdelrio5316 David is the opposite of Kody. I think even if it's still lust for Christine and not love, it will turn into love soon enough. It appears that David's kids are as important to him as Christine's are to her. Neither one of them will make the other choose, which is a huge part of why Kody failed as a husband and father. Life will happen, but I think David will stand beside her and prop her and the kids up when they need it, rather than just telling one of them to, for example, travel to have major surgery by themselves. He appears to be successful enough to not be intimidated by her popularity. He doesn't seem to need her $. Besides, I think Christine has enough supporters that he wouldn't *dare* treat her badly:)
I didn't remember about the past episode of her taking the test but I could tell right away she was lying. It was so obvious. She clearly did not want to be portrayed that way hence why she also didn't even show up when they filmed them reading their assessments. Kody probably also doesn't allow TLC to do those cut backs to those episodes given how much he has made it clear that his #1 goal is protecting Robyn's image.
He even said that if somebody would “complain” about Robyn, he wanted to punch him/ her/ them on the mouth. I think that is very cold and dark. I did wanted to hear David his respons about this, but in this part he did not brought it up (i am sorry for my English, it is not my first language)
Christine is finally in love with someone that loves her back . She was married long enough to know it’s not going to be perfection everyday . Bad times and good . The fact that she isn’t a teen and has kids a long marriage … she isn’t stupid .
He was literally the first man she met. She’s not in love. She just got treated halfway decent for the first time in her life and she’s mistaking that for love but it’s a very scary thing that she’s already remarried to somebody when she hasn’t taken any time to figure out what she really needs in a relationship and figure out who she is on her own it took her over a decade to leave Cody. She didn’t take any time to heal outside of that leaving is the first step in the journey, it is not the end destination.

She literally got on a dating website claims he’s the very first picture she saw started going out with him, met the family got married. The covenant apparently DOES include the dissolution of the women’s souls! I just want Suki to ask what his vision of the future was after telling his wives he no longer wanted intimate relationships with them. I don’t understand what he’s angry about when he’s seemingly getting what he wanted.
He's angry because having multiple wives gave him clout within the church community because it's attached to how 'worthy' God considers him. The church authorizes men to add wives, so being deemed worthy enough to add another wife is leveling up. Having four wives would be evidence that God really thinks Kody's something super special and the church community would treat him in a way that reflected that. When his wives divorce him, it draws negative attention from the church and has all kinds of connotations attached. That's where Kody's anger comes from. He doesn't want them around, but he wants them to leave him alone in such a way that doesn't lower his status.
As a counselor, I usually agree with you. Sounds like a "but" is coming, no, just a statement. LOL The test was not a deep dive, but what is significant is Robyn's reaction. She is a drama queen, and crying is her M.O. She makes it all about her, like when they were at the picnic table, she had to announce how upset she was and that she had to leave, etc. Come on!! As for Christine, I agree with you and your wife. She has stars in her eyes. She has never had anyone love her so she has been swept off her feet. Hope it works out but I wouldn't be surprised at anything at this point. A big issue is they were all raised in such dysfunctional environments, they are going through this with no blueprint. P.S....and when Robyn talks about how a "person" told her something, my first thought was her husband. He does more "trash talking" about everyone than anyone else!!
I think it was Kody that told Robyn lies about the other wives and their kids too. Kody had to keep Robyn and her kids isolated in order for continue his narrative that the family hated Robyn and her kids to get Robyn completely dependent on him and his needs. Kody needs serious professional help. I also think Kody is extremely ADHD along with being narcissistic and extremely aggressive and volatile. I’m not convinced that he hasn’t already been physically abusive either. I can only imagine how much more aggressive and abusive he is off camera based on his on camera bullying and abuse. I’ve never been a Robyn fan but without the other wives there to catch all the abuse Kody dishes out it could be Robyn’s turn next if not already.

He has treated her daughters like princesses, and has fathered Sol and Ari more than all the fathering he did for his other kids combined. Robyn has always said that they have a honeymoon marriage. She feeds his ego, plays damsel in distress that needs rescuing, and he thinks he’s being her knight in shining armor. They truly are a perfect fit. They isolated together, he just used it as an excuse to not see his other families and she allowed it, instead of pushing him to bend the rules so he could spend time with his children. And he power tripped his way out of being a polygamist.
Robyn has only heard Kody's side of many stories. He's kept her in the dark about a lot of things, especially what caused Christine to pack up his stuff and put it in the garage. He acted incredulous when she did that, like he had no idea why. He knew why.
Christine is a 7, "the enthusiast." She is always going to sound a little bit like a cheerleader. If you watch more than one episode and find a thru line, you will see that's just her nature. Didn't her birthday party feel a little bit like a cheerleaders party? Didn't she try hard to make Ysabel's surgery experience as fun as possible with COVID-safe trips to the isolated beach and arranged for surprise guests? Enneagram isn't a diagnostic anything, but it's a great conversation starter even with people who disagree. Just because Robyn seems to show 4 traits, it doesn't mean that's the totality of who she is or will ever be. It means that at the time of assessment, thats what the others were working with. Understanding that a 4 can be dramatic, helps the non-4 people not be so shocked when 4s act like the world is in crisis. When a 4 says, "Breanna was screaming her head off in pain" and the camera shows footage of whimpering, whining and some pouting, you understand that a four tends to make things sound more catastrophic than they are. When as a 7 Christine tells how surgery went, she will say "it was great! The curve is all the way down to a 15⁰. The nurses were laughing because Ysabel is so tall on the table." What a 7 tends to minimize is that the surgery lasted hours longer, the curve didn’t reach 10⁰ because Kody waited too long and Ysabel is in so much pain they are afraid she won't be ready in time to fly home with their currently purchased tickets. Can you see how helpful these insights can be in a work or family dynsmic?
@@knielson1201 Exactly! It's super fun and helpful if you let it be. And with all types, you get all different perspectives. And it's no threat to psychology or other diagnostic tools. This is just a fun system to consider when working/living with different personalities. I'm just saying that with a little bit of insight, you don't go to a 7 when you want a small pity party and don't go to a 4 if you need to see a lighter side to a situation. 💜
My husband thinks the same thing about Christine. I want cameras filming Kody and Robyn's relationship to see if it is really what the other wives think it is. My advice is for the kids to leak the text thred so we just know.
A key to the text thread is when Aurora stated that right before they got on the thread someone told us that they (other kids) said negative things about us. This is not what a parent/step-parent prepares their adult kids to have a text convo with eatranged siblings.
The thing that bothers me about Christine’s progressing her love with David is that David is a human just like the rest of us and she has him and their love on this high HIGH pedestal, there’s nowhere to go, but down from here
I agree completely with what you said about Christine. I really hope this relationship works out for her, but I think she rushed into it. Robyn...she's just a liar, a manipulative, controlling liar. It's crystal clear to me and I feel sorry for her children.
I think you missed the point in Christine. I believe the reason she was making her new romance sound like a fairy tale is to rub it in Kody and Robin’s face because she’s had their relationship rubbed in her face for years and years and years. So of course she’s describing it in this over-the-top way and making it sound as perfect as she can. It’s like she’s saying, “In your face, Kody! In your face, Robin!” I don’t know if it will ever be enough to make up for the past, but she’s going to milk it as much as possible.
Rubbing it in , in Kody and Robins face is still childish. There are a few people she wants to annoy about her relationship with David. Kody, Robin, Meri and possibly Janelle. I think I caught Janelle's eyes roll once. Oh well, I wish her the best, in her marriage.

Kody gets dark because deep down, He has already cheated on his wives. Janelle is privy to what some of the kids saw when they were young, that Kody was caught with another woman. Being Narcissitic, on his business trips, I bet he has looked around for other women. Janelle needs to be cornered and asked, She knew, but she did not want to rock the boat early in the series. That is why Kody is so fearful of his TRUTH coming out by his wives.
The section about Kody on the beginning was very well put. Probably one of the most considered and fair assessments of Kody that I’ve heard from any commentary channel. Yea, he’s narcissistic. He’s treated many people in his family poorly for a long time. He’s not the standup guy that he thinks he is, or that he wanted to be. But… he’s clearly unraveling. He’s clearly in pain. He absolutely should get off TV, for his own well-being. But he won’t.

TLC shows that they think the audience is stupid. TLC sees the ratings and that is all they see. I think the next season will and should be the last . The last season should not have Robyn and Kody but rather showcase the recovery of the women and the children. I do feel bad for Robyn’s adult children. I hope they escape their mother’s fingers and spread their wings. I think Robyn has forever colored their world with untruths. I predict Robyn will leave Kody ( to keep the show on ). Popcorn please.
Robyn will leave because now there’s nobody left for him to abuse, he’s turning that towards her. She’s already setting him up in these interviews to lose custody of their 2 minor children.
I honestly think there are no guarantees in life or love. I think Christine and David we're searching for something unique that they found in each other. I don't care how old I get I want to fall in love like a teenager the only thing that you should be cautious of is the person you are falling in love with and David doesn't appear to be a bum so I think she's in good hands. Maybe it'll last forever, maybe it won't, but I don't think Christine needed to date more people or wait more years before committing to David to find that out. Their relationship will require hard work to succeed either way. He's a giant step up from a loveless relationship with Kody.

Normally I would agree but I would be cautious in her situation. She was raised in a patriarchal religion, married her whole life to a narcissist, and is in TV. To me that's a beacon to all sorts of weirdos.
@batkat0 I don't know if you've had to date in the last 10 years, but the dating pool is filled with weirdos no matter your status in life. I don't recommend it for anyone, and the older you get, the harder it gets because we just keep adding more of life baggage.
Kody was relying on all the wives to keep providing for him. He was relying on all the kids to do what he said. Kody was relying on the public to keep going along with his narrative. ( Many of us couldn’t and dropped out of watching; Christine’s and Mary’s suffering was evident pre-2015, Janelle’s scowls at Robyn also presented a negative picture- Robyn seemed to have taken over the family even then.) Kody’s distressed because all these factors were loosed from his control. He’s watching his image and lifestyle go down the drain. I, for one, applaud every dissension.
The day after they took the test, they were to meet and discuss the results. Everyone showed up except Robyn, who feigned being sick. I'm betting her results were nevertheless discussed in the group so the others would have insight into her coping strategies. So I think Christine always knew Robyn's results. That's not Christine guessing. And Christine puts a positive spin on the 4's, so that tells me that's what she heard at the discussion. Yes, dark Kody is real. I swear, he has to also be a 4, but that's not dramatics when he says he hates his life and wants to leave it all behind. He has sort of accomplished that. He will definitely feel less stressed now that he is rid of the OG3. And I think he's happy about being rid of the kids, too. But that's too callous to be direct about, so he flames out in righteous anger and holds the position that he won't tolerate them in his life unless they crawl back and acknowledge that only his views can be correct. People who imagine he would like to have a good relationship with the kids say he needs to be the one to make overtures. He doesn't do that precisely because he doesn't want them back. Cody is embarrassed which causes pain. Because he’s been found out only Robin is acting like The otherwise used to act. It took him 20+ years to finally figure it out but at least they figured it out.
I have known many couples who didn't waste time later in life. They've done it all the first time, kids, weddings etc. The second time is about companionship in the next stage. Christine is whimsical, I expect no less and I love that she's happy. There are so few times in life people experience new love, just let it flow.
Did you see sneak peek? I felt Robyn was almost using emotional blackmail. She's like saying that the ex wives owe her a conversation, dictating how that conservation will happen, for them to tell her they want her to be happy. She didn't tell Christine that to her face. She aggressively blamed her for leaving. Apparently she blamed Christine to her kids. Janelle and meri don't owe her anything. She owes a thank you for paying for her mansion. She didn't help them. It just seemed really emotional blackmail. I can't be happy until you tell me you want us to be happy. No matter how much that hurts them.

She offered up a zoom exchange and the kids were like, no that's ridiculous. And so are you. And your covid rules. They would love to have a life with Robyns kids, they just need her out of it.

OMG seriously - the text thread was trying to organize the annual gift exchange. It had the potential to be a positive and uniting experience. Robyn had to intervene because that would undermine her narrative and because she cannot allow any of her kids to interact with others without her supervision, presence, manipulation, and narrative. A 19 person Zoom (kids + Robyn) will not help a 7 year old know all the others. Better for Sol and Ari to get a note saying: you have [name], age [ ], interests [ ], then have Robyn show pictures and home video. It would be nice for the kids to develop and maintain relationships with one another, but R&K cannot and have not allowed that of Robyn’s kids. The only reason some of Christine’s kids visit them is because of the DIVORCE. There was no contact prior because of K&R.
Yes. It seems as though both K&R work very hard to make sure that her children don't have any private conversations with the OG kids/adults for fear the lies they've told her kids will be revealed or make them question K&R. And we all know that truth will out. They may find its just the 2 of them on that porch with ALL of the kids resenting them.
As for Christine, what do you expect. She has been with Kody for most of her adult life and that is all she knows. Someone comes around and shows her a whole new world and she feels like a kid again, especially at her age. I have been married 3 times and my husband now made me feel the same way and after 10 years of marriage he still does. So hopefully this guy will do the same.
I agree that when Kody gets dark and says he “hates his life” he is sincere in that moment and means it. I think the reason he feels this way is bc he’s a narcissist and has suffered many narcissistic injuries. Not only by the OG3, but by more than a few of his adult children. Those that were once a “supply” for his narcissism are now gone or have turned on him. He is having a hard time with THAT. It’s alllll about him. He is raging and possibly “in pain” (more likely feeling like he’s free falling from losing a great deal of his narcissistic supply) and he will continue to turn on Robyn and probably their kids as well. He needs to get supply from somewhere. The OG3 and the OG13 kids are moving on and will not be accessible for him to abuse any longer. The ONLY ones I feel bad for are the kids. All of them, even Robyn’s oldest 3. None of them asked for any of this, yet they’re the ones paying the price unfortunately 😕 I cannot imagine it’s much fun for the kids living at home with Robyn and Kody at all. They both seem so obsessed with Christine I’m sure they are talking about everything right in front of the kids, even the smaller ones. They’re mad Janelle and her $$ left and Crybrows Robyn is upset Meri left with her $$. Now Kody and Robyn just have each other to deal with. The indifference by the OG3 has to be killing them too! Thank you, David. When I expressed similar concerns about Christine getting into a serious relationship so quickly, I was shouted down by the masses. In this interview she came across as an infatuated teenager and I was, and am, concerned that everything is perfect when we all know that that is not a realistic or healthy way to look love.
I remember that the Enneagram was very popular in the late 80s and early 90s. It was often used in the context of spiritual retreats and programmes of self development; I encountered it in the context of spirituality. I had books by Don Richard Riso(1987), Helen Palmer(1988) and Richard Rohr(1995). I know that it has been dismissed by the scientific community and is regarded as pseudoscience. I’ve no idea why she felt she had to lie about it, it wasn’t as though it was the ‘Hare PCL-Revised’.
The season should end with an episode - Suki tells all - where Suki tells what she thinks is up and down after hearing everyone's histories. It would be so much fun, and then she could also be allowed to defend herself a little for not having asked the hard questions that we would have liked her to.
On Christine’s behalf, I felt like her when I met my husband. We were in our 40s when we met, both second marriages. We also met online. The minute I saw him he felt special. I think when you’re older, you know what you want and do not want. We moved in together after 5 months and are celebrating our 10th anniversary this February 👍

And we saw it on season 18, when he told her their physical relationship was done. He has zero excuse for being shocked when she finally made the decision to move on. Also, Robyn feigning ignorance about Christine's years of misery is equally ludicrous. She knew it all. And she didn't care. I personally don't believe she wanted to be a sister wife. She wanted Kody to herself & her kids & she wanted the money the show brought. And initially the fame, which unfortunately for her, turned into infamy.

I have to agree with that!! For me it’s not about the test it was about the lying and then accusing someone else of falsifying the results.
Kody is a narcissist. That’s the reason why he doesn’t take into account the other wives experiences. He’s in “distress” because a wife walked away from him and his ego was burned.
Kody seems to have a hard time dealing with women in authority. Suki, as the hostess/interviewer, she has a certain authority in deciding the direction of the show, and he really bucks up against that. He threatens to shut down if he loses control.
Last seasons he seemed to be trying to intimidate Suki. He wouldn't answer questions, being passive aggressive and his whole body language was odd putting that if Suki pushes more he will walk off or snap.
She doesnt buck agaisnt him enough.
Suki is just as aggressive as TLC wants her to be. I don't think it's up to her. We all know that if challenged Kodi will just storm out. He can never admit to being wrong in any way.
See I have heard from different Sister Wives deep dive channels plus friends of the family/neighbors... That Kody refuses to do these tell alls/interviews with a male interviewer. My guess is because he feels he can dominate the conversation with a woman but would get challenged by a man.
I think Christine has been in a loveless miserable relationship for almost 30 years. She finally found someone who loves her. I think it would be hard not to be gitty😊

You can tell that even back when Robyn was telling her kids that Christine and Janelle weren’t coming to thanksgiving.she was so upset and was saying “I wonder if the kids are going to start thinking the family doesn’t want to hang out with them”. Robyn had told her kids the whole time the news putting the other wives and kids in bad lights. So the text chain was the same. Robyn wants all the kids young again to give her kids the same life refusing to understand that they are now adults with lives. She couldn’t call all the shots and negative downward spiral ensued.
I think this is a huge elephant in the room. Those youngest 3 kids, Truely, Sol, Auri didn't have the same experience growing up as the others and I think that's normal.

People fall in love fast all the time, doesn’t mean that it won’t last.
I knew Robin was lying about the personality test just from her body language and her speech during the interview.
She literally said “and that was when” if you know when, it happened. But she quickly changed her words to make it seem insignificant. I wish they would have showed the results of all of their tests. I also wondered if Robyn was upset by the therapist giving her HER results and that is why she was absent the next morning and kept calling the therapist questionably not safe. Blah blah. That’s what it seems like for sure
Christine has been married to Kody since a young age.
She has not been treated in a loving manner from the beginning and has done everything to keep Kody happy. We all saw how terribly he treated her for the whole world to see.
That must have been so humiliating and especially sad for her.
An adult woman with 6 children who is treated like a replaceable piece of furniture, useful when you need it and you push it aside without emotion when it gets in the way.
Then she is strong enough to leave Kody and start a whole new life, which will not have been easy.
She has left everything familiar behind and then finds David.
He is a widower with 8 children who he raised after his wife died and seems to be sweet, strong and loving.
She falls in love and acts like a young woman in love because she has never felt real love and attention.
She has fallen head over heels for David and there is nothing wrong with that.
For some it may be "exaggerated like in the movies" and for others it may be just right, but what is most important is that it feels right for Christine!
No one can walk in her shoes and feel what she felt.
I hope that she can be so in love for a long time and behave like a teenage girl and then turn into deep adult love, she has had to wait many, many years for this and I wish her the best.
The problem is she all she has to relate to is Cody anyone halfway decent gonna look better than that and it’s super easy to fall into another abuse of relationship because of that it happens 99.999% of the time when a woman leaves a bad relationship, she finds her self directly into another one with the first guy she meets, and guess what Dave was the first guy Christine met and she’s all ready married within a year that’s not good sides at All.

I find the entire family emotionally challenged. The polygamist bubble doesn’t seem to foster healthy interactions with the rest of the world. Saying that I don’t mind Christine’s love bubble. When I left an abusive relationship I cut my hair, started wearing bright clothes. The endorphins were released and I felt powerful. It propelled me past the trauma and aided me in navigating life. I think the family has been in a trauma bond. Living a life where you hide your true self because of the threat of arrest, negative feedback has to warp you.
Christine had been in love with life outta that cult and separate from Kody before she even met David.

I think that she seems this way because she didn’t have the opportunity to go through that stage in her earlier life. I personally don’t have a problem with her being a little giddy. If she and David are happy with each other then I am happy for her.

I've been married for 30 years, and I can ask my husband today how he saw me in our first year or two and he will explain it much like Christine describes David. I think the key is, if you are coming out of a very painful first marriage, you are so grateful for kindness. I know I sure was. Still love my husband this way.

After 30 years of neglect or at the least, indifference, she sounds like a teenage girl in love. I truly hope it’s real and that it last. But like you it seems rushed. However I married my husband after 3 months and we will be celebrating our 25 anniversary in 2024. Sometime you just know. At least she found someone who cares about her opinion, wants and needs. If Christine worked and fought for over 2 decades to make it work with Kody, without the cameras then still tried for another decade... I think she and David will be just fine. David is the polar opp of Kody and I would be giddy too. I see them spending time traveling and enjoying being grandparents as the yrs go by. Christine will be in her element and David will be appreciative after being a single father to 8 for so long. 8 +13, they will be too busy with grands and trips and learning each other... No one is upset that Christine is happy. People are concerned, rightfully so, with how’s she’s acting towards David, the speed in which the relationship has progressed, and our knowledge of Christine’s life and emotional states. By pointing out concern no one is taking away from Christine.

@@katdelrio5316 David is the opposite of Kody. I think even if it's still lust for Christine and not love, it will turn into love soon enough. It appears that David's kids are as important to him as Christine's are to her. Neither one of them will make the other choose, which is a huge part of why Kody failed as a husband and father. Life will happen, but I think David will stand beside her and prop her and the kids up when they need it, rather than just telling one of them to, for example, travel to have major surgery by themselves. He appears to be successful enough to not be intimidated by her popularity. He doesn't seem to need her $. Besides, I think Christine has enough supporters that he wouldn't *dare* treat her badly:)

I didn't remember about the past episode of her taking the test but I could tell right away she was lying. It was so obvious. She clearly did not want to be portrayed that way hence why she also didn't even show up when they filmed them reading their assessments. Kody probably also doesn't allow TLC to do those cut backs to those episodes given how much he has made it clear that his #1 goal is protecting Robyn's image.

Christine is finally in love with someone that loves her back . She was married long enough to know it’s not going to be perfection everyday . Bad times and good . The fact that she isn’t a teen and has kids a long marriage … she isn’t stupid .
We all know that Christine knows how to survive hard times. She will be fine.
He was literally the first man she met. She’s not in love. She just got treated halfway decent for the first time in her life and she’s mistaking that for love but it’s a very scary thing that she’s already remarried to somebody when she hasn’t taken any time to figure out what she really needs in a relationship and figure out who she is on her own it took her over a decade to leave Cody. She didn’t take any time to heal outside of that leaving is the first step in the journey, it is not the end destination.

She did not take time. She literally got on a dating website claims he’s the very first picture she saw started going out with him, met the family got married.
You shouldn’t even be meeting the family unless you’ve been dating close to a year let alone, engaged and married especially after all those years in abusive relationship she needed to play the field. She needed to figure out what she needed in man not the first man who is nice to her.
The covenant apparently DOES include the dissolution of the women’s souls! I just want Suki to ask what his vision of the future was after telling his wives he no longer wanted intimate relationships with them. I don’t understand what he’s angry about when he’s seemingly getting what he wanted.
He's angry because having multiple wives gave him clout within the church community because it's attached to how 'worthy' God considers him. The church authorizes men to add wives, so being deemed worthy enough to add another wife is leveling up. Having four wives would be evidence that God really thinks Kody's something super special and the church community would treat him in a way that reflected that. When his wives divorce him, it draws negative attention from the church and has all kinds of connotations attached. That's where Kody's anger comes from. He doesn't want them around, but he wants them to leave him alone in such a way that doesn't lower his status.
Once again, the man wants his cake and eat it too.

As a counselor, I usually agree with you. Sounds like a "but" is coming, no, just a statement. LOL The test was not a deep dive, but what is significant is Robyn's reaction. She is a drama queen, and crying is her M.O. She makes it all about her, like when they were at the picnic table, she had to announce how upset she was and that she had to leave, etc. Come on!! As for Christine, I agree with you and your wife. She has stars in her eyes. She has never had anyone love her so she has been swept off her feet. Hope it works out but I wouldn't be surprised at anything at this point. A big issue is they were all raised in such dysfunctional environments, they are going through this with no blueprint. P.S....and when Robyn talks about how a "person" told her something, my first thought was her husband. He does more "trash talking" about everyone than anyone else!!
I think it was Kody that told Robyn lies about the other wives and their kids too. Kody had to keep Robyn and her kids isolated in order for continue his narrative that the family hated Robyn and her kids to get Robyn completely dependent on him and his needs. Kody needs serious professional help. I also think Kody is extremely ADHD along with being narcissistic and extremely aggressive and volatile. I’m not convinced that he hasn’t already been physically abusive either. I can only imagine how much more aggressive and abusive he is off camera based on his on camera bullying and abuse. I’ve never been a Robyn fan but without the other wives there to catch all the abuse Kody dishes out it could be Robyn’s turn next if not already.

He has treated her daughters like princesses, and has fathered Sol and Ari more than all the fathering he did for his other kids combined. Robyn has always said that they have a honeymoon marriage. She feeds his ego, plays damsel in distress that needs rescuing, and he thinks he’s being her knight in shining armor. They truly are a perfect fit. They isolated together, he just used it as an excuse to not see his other families and she allowed it, instead of pushing him to bend the rules so he could spend time with his children. And he power tripped his way out of being a polygamist.

Robyn has only heard Kody's side of many stories. He's kept her in the dark about a lot of things, especially what caused Christine to pack up his stuff and put it in the garage. He acted incredulous when she did that, like he had no idea why. He knew why.

If you watch more than one episode and find a thru line, you will see that's just her nature. Didn't her birthday party feel a little bit like a cheerleaders party? Didn't she try hard to make Ysabel's surgery experience as fun as possible with COVID-safe trips to the isolated beach and arranged for surprise guests?
Enneagram isn't a diagnostic anything, but it's a great conversation starter even with people who disagree. Just because Robyn seems to show 4 traits, it doesn't mean that's the totality of who she is or will ever be. It means that at the time of assessment, thats what the others were working with. Understanding that a 4 can be dramatic, helps the non-4 people not be so shocked when 4s act like the world is in crisis. When a 4 says, "Breanna was screaming her head off in pain" and the camera shows footage of whimpering, whining and some pouting, you understand that a four tends to make things sound more catastrophic than they are.
When as a 7 Christine tells how surgery went, she will say "it was great! The curve is all the way down to a 15⁰. The nurses were laughing because Ysabel is so tall on the table." What a 7 tends to minimize is that the surgery lasted hours longer, the curve didn’t reach 10⁰ because Kody waited too long and Ysabel is in so much pain they are afraid she won't be ready in time to fly home with their currently purchased tickets.

I think you missed the point in Christine. I believe the reason she was making her new romance sound like a fairy tale is to rub it in Kody and Robin’s face because she’s had their relationship rubbed in her face for years and years and years. So of course she’s describing it in this over-the-top way and making it sound as perfect as she can. It’s like she’s saying, “In your face, Kody! In your face, Robin!” I don’t know if it will ever be enough to make up for the past, but she’s going to milk it as much as possible.

Kody gets dark because deep down, He has already cheated on his wives. Janelle is privy to what some of the kids saw when they were young, that Kody was caught with another woman. Being Narcissitic, on his business trips, I bet he has looked around for other women. Janelle needs to be cornered and asked, She knew, but she did not want to rock the boat early in the series. That is why Kody is so fearful of his TRUTH coming out by his wives.

The section about Kody on the beginning was very well put. Probably one of the most considered and fair assessments of Kody that I’ve heard from any commentary channel. Yea, he’s narcissistic. He’s treated many people in his family poorly for a long time. He’s not the standup guy that he thinks he is, or that he wanted to be. But… he’s clearly unraveling. He’s clearly in pain. He absolutely should get off TV, for his own well-being. But he won’t.

TLC shows that they think the audience is stupid. TLC sees the ratings and that is all they see. I think the next season will and should be the last . The last season should not have Robyn and Kody but rather showcase the recovery of the women and the children. I do feel bad for Robyn’s adult children. I hope they escape their mother’s fingers and spread their wings. I think Robyn has forever colored their world with untruths. I predict Robyn will leave Kody ( to keep the show on ). Popcorn please.

I honestly think there are no guarantees in life or love. I think Christine and David we're searching for something unique that they found in each other. I don't care how old I get I want to fall in love like a teenager the only thing that you should be cautious of is the person you are falling in love with and David doesn't appear to be a bum so I think she's in good hands. Maybe it'll last forever, maybe it won't, but I don't think Christine needed to date more people or wait more years before committing to David to find that out. Their relationship will require hard work to succeed either way. He's a giant step up from a loveless relationship with Kody.

Kody was relying on all the wives to keep providing for him. He was relying on all the kids to do what he said. Kody was relying on the public to keep going along with his narrative. ( Many of us couldn’t and dropped out of watching; Christine’s and Mary’s suffering was evident pre-2015, Janelle’s scowls at Robyn also presented a negative picture- Robyn seemed to have taken over the family even then.) Kody’s distressed because all these factors were loosed from his control. He’s watching his image and lifestyle go down the drain. I, for one, applaud every dissension.

The day after they took the test, they were to meet and discuss the results. Everyone showed up except Robyn, who feigned being sick. I'm betting her results were nevertheless discussed in the group so the others would have insight into her coping strategies. So I think Christine always knew Robyn's results. That's not Christine guessing. And Christine puts a positive spin on the 4's, so that tells me that's what she heard at the discussion.
Yes, dark Kody is real. I swear, he has to also be a 4, but that's not dramatics when he says he hates his life and wants to leave it all behind. He has sort of accomplished that.
He will definitely feel less stressed now that he is rid of the OG3. And I think he's happy about being rid of the kids, too. But that's too callous to be direct about, so he flames out in righteous anger and holds the position that he won't tolerate them in his life unless they crawl back and acknowledge that only his views can be correct. People who imagine he would like to have a good relationship with the kids say he needs to be the one to make overtures. He doesn't do that precisely because he doesn't want them back. He wants them gone and he wants to be guilt-free of their absence.

Cody is embarrassed which causes pain. Because he’s been found out only Robin is acting like The otherwise used to act. It took him 20+ years to finally figure it out but at least they figured it out.
I have known many couples who didn't waste time later in life. They've done it all the first time, kids, weddings etc. The second time is about companionship in the next stage. Christine is whimsical, I expect no less and I love that she's happy. There are so few times in life people experience new love, just let it flow.

She's like saying that the ex wives owe her a conversation, dictating how that conservation will happen, for them to tell her they want her to be happy. She didn't tell Christine that to her face. She aggressively blamed her for leaving. Apparently she blamed Christine to her kids. Janelle and meri don't owe her anything. She owes a thank you for paying for her mansion. She didn't help them. It just seemed really emotional blackmail. I can't be happy until you tell me you want us to be happy. No matter how much that hurts them.

Text chain was back to covid. The kids basically wanted Dayton to buck his parents and come to the gift exchange. Robyn blocked it. She offered up a zoom exchange and the kids were like, no that's ridiculous. And so are you. And your covid rules. They would love to have a life with Robyns kids, they just need her out of it.

Also, I really appreciated your thoughts this week about Kody. He is SO hard to like that it is easy to rip on him and not remember he is a human being with feelings and pain. I do think it looks like he is in crisis emotionally, and I do not take pleasure in watching anyone suffer like that...even Kody. OMG seriously - the text thread was trying to organize the annual gift exchange. It had the potential to be a positive and uniting experience. Robyn had to intervene because that would undermine her narrative and because she cannot allow any of her kids to interact with others without her supervision, presence, manipulation, and narrative. A 19 person Zoom (kids + Robyn) will not help a 7 year old know all the others. Better for Sol and Ari to get a note saying: you have [name], age [ ], interests [ ], then have Robyn show pictures and home video.
It would be nice for the kids to develop and maintain relationships with one another, but R&K cannot and have not allowed that of Robyn’s kids. The only reason some of Christine’s kids visit them is because of the DIVORCE. There was no contact prior because of K&R.
Yes. It seems as though both K&R work very hard to make sure that her children don't have any private conversations with the OG kids/adults for fear the lies they've told her kids will be revealed or make them question K&R. And we all know that truth will out. They may find its just the 2 of them on that porch with ALL of the kids resenting them.
As for Christine, what do you expect. She has been with Kody for most of her adult life and that is all she knows. Someone comes around and shows her a whole new world and she feels like a kid again, especially at her age. I have been married 3 times and my husband now made me feel the same way and after 10 years of marriage he still does. So hopefully this guy will do the same.

I agree that when Kody gets dark and says he “hates his life” he is sincere in that moment and means it. I think the reason he feels this way is bc he’s a narcissist and has suffered many narcissistic injuries. Not only by the OG3, but by more than a few of his adult children. Those that were once a “supply” for his narcissism are now gone or have turned on him. He is having a hard time with THAT. It’s alllll about him. He is raging and possibly “in pain” (more likely feeling like he’s free falling from losing a great deal of his narcissistic supply) and he will continue to turn on Robyn and probably their kids as well. He needs to get supply from somewhere. The OG3 and the OG13 kids are moving on and will not be accessible for him to abuse any longer. The ONLY ones I feel bad for are the kids. All of them, even Robyn’s oldest 3. None of them asked for any of this, yet they’re the ones paying the price unfortunately 😕 I cannot imagine it’s much fun for the kids living at home with Robyn and Kody at all. They both seem so obsessed with Christine I’m sure they are talking about everything right in front of the kids, even the smaller ones. They’re mad Janelle and her $$ left and Crybrows Robyn is upset Meri left with her $$. Now Kody and Robyn just have each other to deal with. The indifference by the OG3 has to be killing them too! All of them are saying “Go! Be happy. Have a good life. We get it. You love each other so go be together”. Yet Robyn says she needs an off camera discussion about that 🤷♀️ WTF?! I will never understand those two 😳

Thank you, David. When I expressed similar concerns about Christine getting into a serious relationship so quickly, I was shouted down by the masses. In this interview she came across as an infatuated teenager and I was, and am, concerned that everything is perfect when we all know that that is not a realistic or healthy way to look love.
I remember that the Enneagram was very popular in the late 80s and early 90s. It was often used in the context of spiritual retreats and programmes of self development; I encountered it in the context of spirituality. I had books by Don Richard Riso(1987), Helen Palmer(1988) and Richard Rohr(1995). I know that it has been dismissed by the scientific community and is regarded as pseudoscience. I’ve no idea why she felt she had to lie about it, it wasn’t as though it was the ‘Hare PCL-Revised’.
The season should end with an episode - Suki tells all - where Suki tells what she thinks is up and down after hearing everyone's histories. It would be so much fun, and then she could also be allowed to defend herself a little for not having asked the hard questions that we would have liked her to.
On Christine’s behalf, I felt like her when I met my husband. We were in our 40s when we met, both second marriages. We also met online. The minute I saw him he felt special. I think when you’re older, you know what you want and do not want. We moved in together after 5 months and are celebrating our 10th anniversary this February 👍
David is (seems to be), very calm , kind & easy gentle man . Which is pretty dam perfect .
