Every man and his dog seems to be grabbing games at my local car boots.
Add that to the low life that crowd around the cars and pressure the sellers for games,lego jewellery, guitars 😂 and it gets pretty rare that anything even gets to the table anymore.
Never lower yourself to that.
I think you are right about the games.
If you can get enough, for cheap they will always sell at the boot.
Even if it looks like the dog has chewed on it.

Those fabric cds brought back some memories. Gave away a big stack of them ages ago, kinda regret not ripping them to hard drive before, quite hard to find them online. Also, nice find on Kung fu rider. Kno it’s a cheap one but it looks like a nuts game
Number 1 rule when buying discs. ALWAYS CHECK THE FACE OFTHE DISC FOR SCRATCHES. But most people never do.
Worst Car Boot is in Hertfordshire on a Sunday, Redbourn, expensive to get in. Once you are in it is very hard to get out if you want to leave early. You get stuck among the other cars. Lots of theft unfortunately 😕 had a board game go missing today. Other lady opposite me had 2 items stolen.. no staff to be seen to report it to

Mitch, I managed to pick up a boxed ps2 guitar hero 2, complete with guitar (red octane), game and manual and even sticker sheet. In really good condition for £5 fully working. Well pleased with that pick up.

Entire point of a controlled entry booty is that it’s controlled! Otherwise the sellers get hassled when unloading and everyone waiting misses out. Shocking. But yea I can see it’s totally worth setting up a stall for early access.

Yeah Sadlers is not great for a bootsale, the Saturday early access is counterproductive now. The fella in the first clip is Paul Villa, him and Rowan are a few of the guys there who pay early to get in. At least you got a few bits Mitch.

Sadly totally agree sadlers has become a terrible bootsale. The staff don't care. It's all about money. They let the same people in because they pay £12 but none are sellers. If you go in when they let you in at the allocated time you are wasting your time all the good stuff is gone

That bootsale is well know for people paying for a pitch with no intention of selling. But just going in to scoop everything up before the buyers are officially let in. Then there's the traders.

Nice, I did a car boot sale stall last Saturday at Baytree farm as they were offering free pitches so I didn't have to pay for my pitch. I managed to move a few items on including a rather faded snes game.

Went to a car boot for the fist time in a long time, made it there an hour after opening for buyers, huge car boot but failed to find any nice games! Is it really the case of having to be a seller and being there that extra hour? Or just luck and being there on the dot and not a minute later as a buyer?
Unfortunately mate getting there early does help but it’s more about consistency and luck. If you keep going you’ll find some nice games but once in a blue moon it’ll be hard to get those epic finds!

That’s a shame! Haha yeah mate i’ll be losing sleep over that for days. The funny thing is I bought it in a huge Xbox deal on Facebook market place for £30 15 games and 4 controllers so got like £160 voucher for all that and didn’t think that was worth anything 😂 I’m glad it went to a young lad though !

Hahah oh right the thing is I’m not lying 😂 I haven’t had an Xbox since the 360 and couldn’t tell you the difference between Xbox one and series x controller. I obviously know they’re worth money but don’t ask me what’s what!

I’ve been coming to this bootsale for over 2 years as a buyer now and this is the first time I’ve sold there. I’m high lighting the issue of sellers buying before it opens. This is a problem the organisers need to deal with but in reality I doubt they care the boot sale has a high turn out every weekend
@@retro_rummage_ give it time I've seen many car boots go under due to resales on the car boot there no such thing as a bargain anymore .I've seen staff at charity shops taken boxset to cex to see the value .this is all due to vlogs etc in the next five years you will be paying retail price for second hand trust me there a pattern folks are clicking on
Unfortunately I've noticed with carboot youtubers ,its games,games and more games,getting boring,like watching the same channel and video all the time,initially i came looking for UK dumster divers,tgat led me to booters,never been into gaming,played space invaders at the local swimming pool back in 1979 and a bit of mario cart when it came out,waste your life Away playing games
