Great couple of PS3 game collections. Been playing a lot of Ratchet and Clank recently. The first is really good but the second (which I'm playing as of now) easily tops it and improves on a lot of stuff. Also the SEGA Mega Drive Collection is really nice too.
Biggest problem with Ascension was that it often was bugged as hell. I remember getting stuck in Chapter 13, a good couple of hours into the game. The whole game would just freeze and I had to restart the console. I wasn't looking forward to replaying all the 13 chapters on a new save, so I gave up.
Just come across your channel also from Essex I was wondering what you think is best cex in the area? I've been to Southend alot as my local and went Basildon a while back was thinking of trying to find the canvey one to
Some great games there mate - one of my all time faves on the PS3 which never made it to next gen consoles was the MotorStorm series. MotorStorm: APOCALYPSE was truly epic in my opinion
Nice start to your collection mate. Remember if you are going for trophies and you enjoy a certain game you can sometimes re-buy it from a different region (country) to get a separate trophy list.
The HD collections have been my favourite subset to collect for in recent times 🤘 There’s 15 “official” ones altogether, but if you are trying to get the full set beware Killzone HD and God of War Volume 2 are very hard to find CIB. Hope you enjoy collecting PS3 as much as I have 👍
Grabbed a nice selection there mate. Some great titles on the ps3 at a decent price. Have to say though after watching this I have to get myself up north to a cex. Some of the prices differences are crazy seen at least 5 games there o could buy up there and bring them to a local cex here and actually make a proof on them! Could be an interesting video haha!
Thank you mate! And are there really differences in prices between the north and down south? How far north are we talking lol I know when I went to Spain and visited CEX I was shocked by the prices as like you say you could make a profit if you took a few games with you 😂
@@retro_rummage_ ah I’ve seen a few videos with games going for say £10 sterling and selling for €25-28 here and the exchange rate is only 10% in the difference. Wouldn’t be massive profit but be interesting to see if there any massive ones
Mate, nice pick ups. The Silent Hill game I'd personally recommend to get first is Downpour. It's getting harder and harder to get. I had 3 trys on the roulette and all fails. I ended up giving my mate the voucher and him buying it, in a store near him. All nice and complete. I personally went a bit nuts last year, getting a lot of the obscure PS3 titles last year and I'm glad I did. As a lot of them have jumped in price and I wanted to play them.
Yeah mate I want it they did have it in CEX lakeside but no manual unfortunately :( i’ll be looking out for it 100%! Glad you got a nice copy in the end 👍🏻
I got the silent hill hd collection, I already had silent hill 2 and 3 but I thought if I didnt get the hd collection because if I didnt I felt I would technically be missing one
The Infamous games, currently playing them and really enjoying them. Ps3 exclusives, and their a bit different with electricity as your weapon. Cheap as chips too.
there's a second god of war collection , containing both of the psp titles. price on this one keeps climbing up and up , grab it as soon as you can mitch

I'd recommend you check out: Alice: Madness Returns, Asura's Wrath, Folklore, Killzone 2 & 3, Lollipop Chainsaw, Majin and the Foresaken Kingdom, Puppeteer, Resistance 1, 2 & 3, Siren Blood Curse. Loads more I could pick out, but definitely recommend those 👍 re: South Park The Stick of Truth, I also have it and it's hilarious. It's been censored on the PAL version though. You'll see what I mean when you play it 😉
So many good games on the PS3 👍 You're down the rabbit hole now, mate! They make a joke out of the censored bits and it's quite funny, but yeah, annoying they thought us European's couldn't handle it. We did still get the Nazi foetuses though, so swings and roundabouts 😂
I use a hair dryer to get them off and any residue that’s left over I use stick stuff remover from Halfords. You can use WD-40 or mr Sheen furniture polish but I prefer this 👍🏻
Some killer ps3 in my opinion and come highly recommended are Jak and daxter hd collection, sly cooper hd collection, splater house, lolipop chinsaw, silent hill home coming, silent hill downpour, orange box collection, mirror edge, spec ops the line, 3d dot game heros ( old school zelda clone) blur, singularity, catherine, Dante inferno, shadows of the dammned. There are so many awesome games on the ps3.
Great selection of games there Mitch! 👌 I've never played a single Rachet & Clank so I'm looking forward to getting stuck in to that HD collection one day. South Park blew me away, was pleasantly suprised by it. Hilarious as expected😂 it's like an easier RPG like Pokémon u can casually play it without too much stress. I think you would love Infamous 1&2. They are probably the best superhero type games I've played outside of Spiderman. It's a big sandbox city where u can choose to be evil or good and the story is class. The 1st one is a little dated now but VERY impressive at the time. Great main character too. Highly recommended!
Nice mate, some tasty games added. I'm the same mate can only put a hour or 2 in before had enough. But if a game grips me can put more time in. Like playing the last of us for the first time. I put so much time in. Never played on the ps3 was on ps4 remaster by then the 2nd game was out. So I beat the first one and enjoyed it so much , soon as I beat it. I jumped on ebay and brought the 2nd game. Then got sucked into that. Since then I got the remaster on ps5 of the 1st and beat again. Now I'm just about to start last of us 2 remaster. I've only played 1 sly game but I've got that triogy on ps3. Might be good one to add mate. Of course is shadow of the colossus and ico HD and god of war collection vol 2. There just a few more that I have along with other. Whole new ball game for you bud being able to cex hunt now for the ps3. Good stuff.👍🎮🕹

Really enjoyed this one very relevant to my hunts of late...the Splinter Cell HD Trilogy is great noticeable improvement from the PS2 games and well priced think its £15 same as Prince of Persia Trilogy though not played that one yet...and honestly mate get a PS5 its a game changer for me and the slim model has just been discounted quite heavily on Amazon I think. Absolutely love my JRPG's and they're great on PS5. Wish I had so many CEX's near me, I'll be your cameraman if you give me a tour some time :)

Nice pick ups, I`m currently playing Singularity on the Ps3. It`s an excellent fps , with a good story. It`s a fiver in Cex.

Split Second Velocity is a must have arcade racer Mitch. Criminal that it never got a sequel (thanks Disney) or a remaster. Highly recommended mate.

How do you go about getting those CeX stickers off without leaving residue? Sometimes they come off no problem, then others come off terribly.
