Beautiful imagery. especially liked the sunrise/sunset start asI lived at the end of Pidgeon Point Rd and my cottage had sunrise to the right and sunset to the left off my little deck. And, as you know, the "airshow" came over the intercoastal most mornings. I think my favorite though, my be sitting in front of Saltus at sunset, catching all the glories of my favorite town.
Beautiful shot! Thanks for creating and sharing. I love Beaufort, from the time I first set there for Boot Camp at Parris Island (Although I didn't see ANY of Beaufort then! LOL), but then a few years later I was stationed at MCAS Beaufort and lived out in town with my wife and our son who was born at the Beaufort Naval Hospital. Beaufort will always have a special place in my heart. Potential retirement destination for me. Thanks again.
Sounds like you have quite a history here. Glad you liked the video. I have a bunch of other Beaufort based videos as well. My brother worked at the naval hospital.
I’m from this beautiful city I miss it so bad! Our house burnt a few years back and for some reason we haven’t returned since then? My mother is still down there but my father died before she could return to South Carolina he was from Columbia and all his kids were born in Sumter and I was the only one born in Beaufort ? We all claimed Beaufort as our home tho? Our mother is form Glasgow Scotland UK tho. But she’s nonetheless proud of being Scottish and partially southern American . When I see photos and videos of Hilton head island or any place around Beaufort it just makes me sad to think my friends who are not from there get to be there and enjoy it without me? Not that they shouldn’t enjoy it? Cause they all moved down there? I just hope to be back there again. My dad (when he was alive rip dad) took me kayaking a lot and taught me how to swim down there the swimming skill came in handy on a class trip we had up here cause some boy accidentally threw his fishing pole in the water it didn’t have a buoy on it? So it didn’t float I had to grab it before it sunk all the way to the bottom of the lake ? The teacher was quite impressed. I plan to come back down there. Before I hit 30.
Would love to see a follow up video on the dining options available in the Beaufort area. I became a Marine at Parris Island and years later was stationed at MCAS Beaufort. Of course, this was 50 years ago. I have been back several times since when family members graduate Parris Island and the place seems to change gradually. My favorite dining place is no longer out on Fripp Island.
@@wollwerthimagery6267 I don't have any relatives in the area nor do I really know anyone. My family and I have vacationed there a few times. The last time ( about 5 years ago ) there was something about the area that just got into my soul and has never left.
For coffee shops, there's Urban Brew and City Java that I like. For restaurants it really depends on what your preference is. What type of food do you like?
@@wollwerthimagery6267 it’s a quick weekend trip. I’m pretty much a healthy eater but I definitely want to get a taste of the best seafood and local cuisines. I just need a few recommendations for lunch spots and possibly breakfast/brunch on Sunday. Thanks so much!
The area is pretty motorhome friendly. Downtown Beaufort itself though is probably not. Lots of traffic, narrow roads, and limited places to turn around.
I’m a bit of an adventurer myself, sleeping with Marine Corps wives was my favorite thing to do in Beaufort. Great video makes me wanna go back again 👍
This is lovely footage of Beaufort and it makes a nice place to move to!
7:18 Those are the Carolina One-Legged Sandpeckers, in case anyone was wondering.

I'm well familiar with the sunsets at Pidgeon Point. I live just down the road and often run my dog down there.
@@wollwerthimagery6267 It was the little cottage behind the home called Pelican Watch. My Happy Place all in 650 s/f. Thanks for the note!!
Beautiful scenery! Love the drone footage. So glad to live in this beautiful area. :)
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment.
Excellent video, thank you!

This is really cool. I'm moving to the area next month and I'm excited to see all it has to offer.
Good luck on the move. Glad you enjoyed the video. Military?
@Wollwerth Imagery Nope. I'm the new Postmaster of Saint Helena Island.
Oh, great. Good luck with the new position.
nothing much to do here

John, I truly enjoyed this video. Would you please consider leaving the verbiage up @ 2 more seconds for us? Thank you
Love this!
How motorhome friendly is the town? I have a 25 foot class B. So the width of a general road lane and the length of a parking spot and a half.

Do whales 🐋 pass by Beaufort?
Atlantic Right Whales pass by, but they are rare and off the coast quite a way.
Allahu Akbar
I live here and it’s very boring
