It would be super awesome to see a video of you breaking down where and how the lake record bass has been caught each time. As long as the other two guys would be willing to give up that info. That would be a very interesting video to sort of track that fish.
How big is that reservoir that y'all do the jon boat tourney on? That lake straight up monsters for a northern lake. I live in Florida and y'all catch nice fish there straight up
@@SBFishing ok that's cool. I remember u had messaged me a while back and told me I forgot. Thanks for replying back. U guys are always good about taking time to message people back and that's nice. Hopefully y'all can break the record in the lake. I have learned from fishing lots of smaller golf course ponds etc in Florida and caught the same 8 pounder a few times and think it's the biggest in the pond then all of a sudden u up it by a couple pounds I bet there is a bigger one in that lake that nobody's caught yet
Love your channel bro! So do you live in your van or is it like a camper? Anyway you make catching bass look so easy! Could you do an info video maybe? Thanks Jeff from Wise.
Are these tournaments usually on the same body of water over and over? If so, is there any concern about the fishery having so much pressure? If it is the same lake and you guys still pressure it, that's pretty sad! I hope is isn't.
Same body of water for the last 30 years. Do you really think 20 ish boats fishing twice/month is sad? Whatever you do don’t look up the James, Potomac river, or god forbid Buggs island. 😭
@SBFishing Gotcha, thanks for the info. I guess twice a month isn't that bad, depending on the size of the fishery. I was just thinking of how much pressure it receives with tourneys/ practice/ recreational fishing and the fact that the same big bass had been repeatedly caught. Thanks for sharing, I'm just always concerned and didn't mean to sound negative. Thanks
One of the first fishing channels i started watching probably 8 or 9 years ago and now it's one of the last. Keep doing you man. It's great to watch.
Thank you for watching, and for the kind words dude!!!
@@SBFishing how's it feel to fish for a living?
I really appreciate the mix of scoping and just fishing you do in your videos. Very versatile and it makes it fun to watch.
ACE BOOGIE comin in clutch! Love these dang Jon Boat tourny videos man! Keep it up!
Just saw your van and boat on 95 good luck!!
🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@SBFishing good luck on the next torny from Fredericksburg
Be interesting to know if that lunker was caught in the same area all four times. Same bait? Def do a vid on that!
3/4 times same spot. Most recent catch was a new area further downlake!
Awesome video man 🎣🎣🎣

Holy crap the beginning😂 there were sooo many jonboats😂
Nice thank you both 👍
Another great tournament video, Matt!
Goes to show how well catch and release works!
Agreed!

2200 acres, but it’s a 9.9hp restricted lake

So Cool!!! Love it! Be Safe
That fish is trained to only eat during tournaments 😂😂 thats crazy

I don’t live in the van but I use it when traveling
Wild that fish keeps getting caught, I'd like to see that vid.
wonder what the distance this fish has traveled between these catches. After release I wonder if it heads back to where it was or moves to new water.
First time I caught it and brought it back to weigh in (and caught it again in the exact spot) was 4.2 miles
How do you like those exprides been seeing you using them more I use dobyns champions been looking at some exprides
HUGE fan. I’ve been using a 7’2H for flipping and 7’3xh for frogging. They’ve quickly become my favorite.
Also the 7’2ML for dropshot/shakey and damiki. By far my favorite spinning rod.
"Gonna have to scope them" wow 😂
Ace boogie!! 💪
Do you prefer to …when you have a skirted buzzbait ….leave it no trailer or put something on the back also
I like a good skirted buzzbait
Can we get a video on Ace’s boat??
That’s one hungry fish and was it caught in different places?
Same place first 3 times, last time was further down lake
Hey man I'm getting into the jon boat tournaments what series do you fish in?
Fountainhead bass club here in VA
@@SBFishing gotcha I’m also from VA would a 14ft jon boat be able to fish in these and is it a Facebook group or website?
Is this at Smith mountain lake or does anyone know?
Occoquan Reservoir
Im shocked by the lack of "WE GOT WEIGHTS IN FISH!" comments
🤣
Greta video bro as always the goat
Great videos
Goes to show catch and release works, and it also seems to be that fish is much more aggressive than your average bass. A great gene to have lol
For sure!!
What’s the name of
What lake is this?
Occoquan Reservoir
These bot comments 🙄
They are out in force
Impossible to combat too. I always remove them asap, but they come back
@@SBFishing still a great video yall crushed them

Jesus died for our sins
Maybe you shouldn't talk about FFS hater if you want subscribers. You just lost one.
You hate FFS, they use FFS, you STILL watch but an offhand comment offended you? So thin skinned.
No one will miss you 😂.
LOL 😂 Can’t take a joke?!? Jeeeeeez
What size motor are you running and what kind of speed are you getting
9.9hp. Slow speeds 😭
@@SBFishing looks like it’s running pretty good
