What I do with the circular ND and Matte boxes is attached the matte box to the lens itself then use a setup ring inside the matte box and you can adjust it with your finger.
Attaching the Mattebox to the VND had me facepalming so much hahaha You’d think you’d do a bit of research of the equipment he is using before making a video to know the point of this mattebox is that you can attach the VND to the adaption ring. It was goofy as hell. Especially with a graduated filter, cant have that filter becoming unlevel…
Very good review. Thank you for that. I have Sony ECM M1 mic which needs the hot shoe to connect. Do you think the handle will allow to connect the mic?
Instead of ND on front of the lens, you might try the clip in ND filters that mount to the camera body. See Kase or Kolari for example. I used the Kase on my a7s III and will try them out on my new a7 iv. In addition to the lower weight factor, one less piece of glass to keep clean. I miss the internal ND filters I had on all my professional video cameras from 3/4" thur 4K. Cheers
i have a top handle like that i think from tilta or something similiar like the one in video but it just isn’t as secure as i would want it to be when holding camera , any suggestions? would hate for the camera to fall cause i’m holding it by top handle
@@RayRomanMedia yeah. It's mostly cuz I'm anal, but yesterday, I went to use the EV dial and couldn't because the strap holder was wedged up between the cage and the dial. This was able to happen because the cage can swivel back and forth. Idk why companies don't put 2 holes in the bottom. I know some do/did???
The line at 2:27 - 'Probably should have told me to read the instructions before I started this' - deserves to be the quote of the century! 😂
With longer lenses, if you flip your top handle around to the other direction your rig will be more balanced.
Is it worth getting a side handle/grip with a start/stop button is useful for these more minimalist set--ups? Thanks for taking the time to make this.

the way he just held the sensor up and open at 2:07 made me shiver

best review ever, might just be buying this setup, looks great, explained great
You have the small allen on the dire of top handle.
I just bought the same rig and it s excellent.
You should be able to add the circular polarizer from the front side and add the ring adapters to the actual lens.
Imagine all the possibilities! Would love to own this setup one day😍
I will you have steady footage when filming without a tripod? Thank you.
love this guide thanks so much - supporting from Greece!

What is that monitor in the thumbnail? Is it clickbait? I mainly came for that 😅
That looks like a cellphone 📱
Same here lol, I know it's a phone but that would be cool to see more of
It’s called acsoon seemo
Is a phone using the app monitor +
You came into the comment to see if something was clickbait?
That would be helpful if you put a link to get this rig off
The HDMI lock down does work with the handle on the left side. 8-)
