Congratulations on successful crocheting. Continue to proudly wear your creations!
Regarding knitting, I find knitting difficult because it's easy to drop and overlook stitches. It also takes much longer to complete an item than crocheting. I was told to use large needles when learning to knit. Not only is it easier to see the stitches but you'll also achieve a sense of accomplishment much faster.
