Your hair looks amazing! 😍 It looked great in the photos you showed as well, but I can definitely see improvement! Getting to see your own progress and feel proud and confident from it is one of the many rewarding things about learning and doing something on your own! 😊 One of my coworker friends in the past did her own protective styling, and she helped teach a couple of her friends and family members how to do it themselves, so sometimes they’d all get together to do each other’s hair, which seemed like such a nice idea because they got together hang out and give each other a break from doing their own hair since it’s generally easier to do someone else’s hair! 👍 As holiday gifts for a few people this year, I’m going to be making little booklets with “coupons” they can use to request certain sewing-related tasks from me, which I’ll do free of charge. So far I’ve thought of coupons for- doing a small clothing repair, hemming a pair of pants, and doing a fit alteration. Of course, it will come with the condition that I’m not a professional seamstress and therefore might need to say “no” if one of their requests or garments is so complicated that I’m afraid of ruining it in some way. 😅 But yea, I’m excited to give this as gifts to the closest people in my life (limiting it to these few so I’m not overwhelmed with a ton of coupon redemptions in the future lol), and I think they will appreciate this gift because it will save them a lot of money, since we know how expensive tailoring can be! 😵 Anyways, this was a great topic to inspire creativity and encourage self-reliance in others, and you seem like a really nice person! 🤗❤️
