Three months update: this is actually huge for my playing. I now play chords more accurately, my fingers fly on riffs and I am much looser on scales and fingerpicking. This was really good. Thank you.

Great five minute lesson. I have recently determined that my lack of structured practice has led to a failure of results so I have committed to having a structured practice routine. Thanks again.

    This is good!
I have another teacher’s 5-minute practice routine I use also…. And it has NOTHING in common with this one. And what does that tell us? It tells us that this is VERY USEFUL.
Now, it means the other one is also, which tells us that having 2 or 3 of these excellent 5-minute trainers is really important.

Sometimes the universe really delivers, ya know? I just started practicing again and I’ve been fixed on the idea of taking a fitness approach this time, as in programming a series of specific exercises daily, and I was very much dreading figuring out what exercises to program but now that’s not a concern (or excuse) anymore. Time to get my fingers shredded, thank you so much for putting this together for us!

Love it. I spent a fair bit of time doing classical guitar-style drills, but I'm wondering if it's better to just directly practice the stuff you want to play. If you want to master fingerpicking, just do that. Same for chord etc.

That made a huge difference . I was about to give up I was almost convinced my hand was to small to play the chords until I switched it up . I was playing my guitar flat on my table for a while just to try and keep up .
