    You're definitely up there with the best on TH-cam. Thanks for all the content you put out. I've learned the intro and solos on Hotel California. From your videos. So thank you very much for that.

    Hello Lee! I just wanted to say, I have played guitar for four years now and the only reason I started was your 10 easy songs videos. 😂 just wanted to say thank you so much for taking me so far on this amazing musical journey I've had. I'm now starting to branch out and learn other instruments also. Again, just wanted to thank you for everything, seeing as you are the reason I am here now.

    I picked up the guitar 3 days after I turned 30. The first ever video I found of yours was the Redemption song and aptly so. That was 6 months ago. Still don't know anything about music and what the hell even the chords or the notes mean. However, I can play along to most of your tutorials. You helped me through depression. Most importantly you taught me how important delayed gratification is. This is God's work Lee. I only just the one request. well, two.
    1. Running Blind by Godsmack
    2. Tired Acoustic by Stone Sour (specially the lead part).
    Even if you don't it's fine. Just wanted to say Thank you. Just know that your work has made a difference.

    Sir, i'm a beginner, but i am not able to play my very 1st accostic guitar more than 10 minutes bcoz of high action and strings are very tensed.
    Sir, how much action do you have on low and high strings on the accostic guitar which you are playing in this video.
    Please answer..

    Hey LJ thanks for this one man! What's your advice on learning the notes on the fretboard and how to break out of a rut?

    • @leejohnblackmoremusic
      @leejohnblackmoremusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don’t get too deep into learning all the notes on the frets, you’re better off learning the notes in the scales, just write them em down on paper and test yourself. It will be far more useful in the future 🎸👍

    You know that there's no such thing as an "E minor power chord"...?

    • @mcburnski
      @mcburnski ปีที่แล้ว

      You could be correct. I don't, personally, have the knowledge to disagree. The internet says there is though. 🤷‍♂️

    • @WahrheitMachtFrei.
      @WahrheitMachtFrei. ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mcburnski By definition, a power chord has no third, hence cannot be major or minor. It's just a power chord. Not a big deal, but as an educator, you'd expect he'd know that.

    • @leejohnblackmoremusic
      @leejohnblackmoremusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Guys please, it was a mistake. If you watch the whole video, I talk about how to deconstruct chords.🤦🏻‍♂️ I play an E5 chord, playing the minor pentatonic in E over the top..

    • @mcburnski
      @mcburnski ปีที่แล้ว

      @@leejohnblackmoremusic it's ok, i don't think we are having an argument! As i said, i don't have the knowledge to contradict what Chimp was saying but i googled it and there were Em power chord charts etc. It's no biggie

    • @leejohnblackmoremusic
      @leejohnblackmoremusic  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ok no worries. He’s correct, you need a 3rd to create a Major or Minor chord (just for the record) 🎸👍
