Honestly, Bayo is one of the coolest characters in the game. Extremely hard to use right and requires a ton of split second decisions to make work. Props on you for making her look awesome
Knowing all this is possible, I’ll never give up trying to be good with Bayonetta, especially as there’s no guarantee we’ll get another dream fighter like Lloyd or Sora/Roxas (e)
So how do you do all these combos? Like did you practice all these combos and then do them in a match or are these all made up on the spot? Just curious what goes through your mind when playing bayonetta
Well there are some combos that always work, they tend to be the more basic ones (like heel slide -> double witch twist -> fair 1 2 3). For the much longer combos and even the zero to death combos, I'd say it's a combination of improvising while knowing how Bayonetta'a moves link up. For the kill combos you see in this montage, I would say maybe two or three of them were planned from start to finish. The rest was improv. The thing with Bayonetta is that how her combos flow depends on a lot of things. The opponents size, weight, damage percent, their DI/SDI, all of that changes how the combos will work. For example, that one combo I got on Bowser on Mute City would probably only work on characters similar to Bowser's weight and size. Had it been a different character like Fox, I would've done a different combo since the same one wouldn't work on Fox. So yeah, it's basically just improvising as you go along and reacting to how the opponent moves based on all those things. That's hard to learn though, and you can't practice it in training mode. It just comes with experience I suppose.
Actually you'll find that a lot of combos in this video generally can't be done in training mode. They're mostly improvised. I talked about this responding to someone else in this comment section but basically it's all to do with getting used to how all Bayo's moves work to know if a combo will work or not. It's all to do with experience, and training mode generally isn't good for that I'm afraid
Bayo's double jump with twist is a really frame perfect move. You have to input up-B within 3 frames after you input your double jump. It's standard to bind your shoulder buttons to jump so you can execute it with the speed you need. There's a tutorial on that somewhere on TH-cam, easy to find I imagine, I used it a while back trying to learn this

@@EqualityEarth woah, now im losing it. if sora aint in any of the dlc packs im gonna be pissed.
The setups were really cool. I'm intrigued by how many Marths (my main) were getting bodied this time around, but still awesome.
I was curious about that too. I tended to run into a lot of Marths and Bowsers when gathering clips. Not sure why
The double down air on the dk and finishing off the Roy with the guns were sick LOL
If you need to learn how to talk to a Lady, ask your mum.

I just wish she had more music in the game! 😫
Yeah there's definitely alot

So a good amount of them you'd do on the spot.
Great vid! Please never hit me with these 😉
As long as I get at least one of these on you I'll be happy lol
Nice combo
The best about beign a Bayo main is that everytime you win is disrespectful
I should use downwards after burner kick more
Great video!
PLEASE DO MORE PLEASE!❤️🥺👏🏼
Nice
I struggle with Bayo and pulling off her combos, no matter how long i spend in training mode...any tips?

So how fo you do double witch twist in a combo like that?
Witch twist, jump, but witch twist immediately after. You have about a 3 frame window to do it, but after a while, it becomes second nature.
I always try to carry someone to the top with combos but bayo always jumps instead of the second witch twist?? What am i doin wrong?

If you're still struggling, I found that if you set "Jump" to the "L" (pro controller) makes it easier
You couldn't hear Ridley scream lol

You even got the star KO 😂
