I feel like Ali is gonna handle that for them. He has said time and time again that “he has done a lot worse” but we’re not entirely sure what. Maybe he got involved in gang life somewhere along the way and still knows people to go by Laurie’s place and clean house!!!
Some theories I got from others about Rues night at Laurie's house! - "Laurie was trying to sex traffic rue. She warned her in the beginning, then she said to her this episode “that’s the great thing about being a woman, when you have nothing you still have something people want” aka her body. When the camera zoomed in on the door with the lock on it, you could hear someone scratching behind it. Laurie runs a sex traffic business and she planned to drug Rue with morphine to get her dazed enough. She is LUCKY she escaped, but I have a feeling that’s not the end of the plot…" - "I think Rue might have lied about the dosage she was taking and that's why she was able to wake up and escape Laurie's house. She meant to drug her enough to mess with her awareness and try to sell her. You can see that she had other drugs on the suitcase but choose morphine because IV drug use is more addictive, since you get an instant kick and might be more intense than snorting." - "That whole scene with Laurie was creepy as hell. Especially the scratching we could hear behind the locked door. I saw lots of people theorizing all the caged birds inside her home represent girls that she has locked up and trafficked/sold, so scary." All just theories, but it seemed pretty likely that Rue was being prepped to be trafficked :(
Agreed. The birds may represent the girls in theory, but in practice, they're sound mufflers. Any noise the girls might make would be mixed in with all the random bird noise. Also, Laurie knew damn well Rue wasn't going to be able to sell or pay that back. Notice how she used Rue's FULL NAME when she greeted her and talked about how she knew she'd be in her life for a looooong time. Talking about how after extended drug use, the things that don't feel good, don't feel so bad. She has been laying the foundation to turn her out and pimp her since she met her. She'd make more money doing that than she would if Rue actually sold the drugs or sold her off once. She purposefully amped up her addiction by injecting her and I'm pretty sure that Laurie fucked up Rue's arm on purpose, so even if she did escape, people wouldn't take her seriously because she just looks like a junkie. It's that extra layer of insidious for me 😨
@@visilvionomantel4601 I'm pretty sure Laurie gave her a chance to leave because she wanted Rue to want to come back. Once she got a taste of intravenous she ain't coming back to pills
i lost my sister when I was 15 due to an accidental overdose. this show is LOT for me, but this episode in particular was really. really rough. because this is exactly what this is like. they will do & say ANYTHING. they will *TRY* to lose EVERYONE. and the hardest part is having to watch it knowing that it’s NOT THEM. it’s the addiction. and you just have to be there, ready for them whenever they come back. also, the amount of people blaming jules & saying that her telling leslie was a bad move or that she was “betraying” rue is driving me insane. it’s very obvious who has experience with addicts in real life & who doesn’t. and I’m glad for those that don’t !! it’s heartbreaking !! it’s a disease !! but MAN am I sick of people making everyone else a villain. rue did this to herself, & if jules hadn’t told? if they hadn’t gotten rid of the drugs? rue would have died. she was going to kill herself, intentionally or not. rue is a minor. the best thing to do was tell her mom. going to rue directly beforehand would have done nothing. addicts don’t care.
I agree. Rue was never actually going to sell those drugs anyway. She would be in the same situation regardless. I’m so sorry for what you have been through and I hope that you are able to heal.
idk i still hold out hope for him, he seems like he's pretty genuine although maybe messed up himself, i think maybe once we get an episode about him (if we ever do) that will maybe help us figure him out more. I'm sure he felt like he couldn't say much when he already told Jules about the drugs and then maybe mentally felt bad for Rue and felt like he couldn't rat on her even more about the drugs possibly not being hers.
@@shayleeholiday1408 you know what was purposefully malicious? choosing not to do drugs and then suggesting they go steal liquor knowing rue was already intoxicated. he had the means to get intoxicated himself, he chose to put rue in a position where she would be using substances in front of jules and then called her out for it.
I think when Eliott says he misses the old Rue , is just her as a his friend who does drugs. They never address whether or not he knew her as a sober person and seeing the ugly side of addiction is alot to witness.
THIS it broke my heart when he said that about missing his friend from before he just met her at a party while he was doing drugs he didn’t know it was this bad and she HIT HIM
i think it exposes another aspect with drug use. it’s all fun and games until it’s not and someone could be going through serious issues but people just think it’s the having fun. they don’t want to deal with ugly effects and consequences
@@shayleeholiday1408 well firstly he definitely knew, he should’ve kept a good 50ft after the first time they met, HE BROUGHT HER BACK FROM AN OVERDOSE. Elliot is not innocent and he is not stupid. He got rue caught up and wanted her to take the blame by herself, he deadass co-signed about that suitcase.
@@eliana8834 i never said innocent. i just said it was heartbreaking to watch an addict say he missed his friend before she started “acting like an addict” if that makes sense. i get he brought her back from an overdose but that situation was so randomly stressful that he could have thought it was something else are we forgetting she had meds on her and knew exactly what to do for all he knew it was a heart thing or a long term illness he didn’t know about because they just met. he’s like 17-18 and he was on drugs at a party. the other thing about that party was he was alone in the laundry room until rue intruded and we only ever saw him alone or with rue and jules. he definitely doesn’t have any other friends he likes or trust in that way. he didn’t get her caught up dude rue was high from the second she got out of rehab and then again “the night you left🥺”. as sad as it is rue is an addict she isn’t stupid either she just makes poor decisions because of her youth and addiction. i don’t exactly remember him co signing the suitcase because it was a while ago but rue came up with that crazy ass plan high as shît “if i were a genius i’d figure out how to do drugs for free” her level of addiction is definitely worse than he could have anticipated and after watching episode 5 worse than we’ve seen since her OD in a few flashbacks. were you not shocked by Z’s performance in this episode. SHE BROKE A FUCKING DOOR WITH HER HEAD!!!!! he was literally in the house stressing the fuck out while hearing that. her hitting him was outta pocket though he didn’t say anything to your mom your gf did. yes he’s an addict and he’s not innocent i know that’s the point everyone has highs and lows.
Elliot knew about the entire plan with Rue and trying to find a way to get free drugs and encouraged her plan in an earlier episode. So he might've known that if there was a suitcase full of drugs in her room that those were the ones she got in working out her plan & he still let Jules & Rue's mom flush them all down the toilet. We cannot trust him!!!
I feel like jules might have got to her house first. When jules said "we flushed them down the toilet" she probably referring to her and leslie. And after they flushed them, elliot might have arrived too late to stop them.
6:31 , i think one of the goals in this show is to show how no one is solely good or bad 100% except for maybe mouse & laurie. they're the exception lol. Anywho that's why they're always loathing on how much they feel like a bad person, but a "bad" person wouldn't have remorse or be concerned.
I’m calling it now: Rue will go to Ali for help and he’ll become the second closest fatherly figure she could get after the passing of her beloved father, and he’ll manage to help her stop doing drugs
if we're going over theories, I have a pretty dark and twisted one: Gia is gonna get kidnapped by Laurie. this is probably the worst possible outcome so idk if the show will actually take such a dark turn. either this or fezco will die because they definitely foreshadowed that happening by him saying he trusts rue with his life.
@@Raccocooney I SAID THE EXACT SAME THING! The flashbacks to Gia being born were pure foreshadowing!!!!!!!! Im so glad (but not. Omg please let me be wrong) sees it. Rue’s hardheaded ass doesn’t learn anything the easy way and I think this is what will stop her fr 😭
@@Raccocooney Yeah its been rumored since august that Gia going to get trafficked and that Fez & ashtray will try and get Gia back which will result in ashtray death that a former production assistant posted on Reddit and that Gia, Maddy, and a character named Elliott will have their own Specials coming after the season just like Rue and Jules had
Not gonna lie, I did cry through most of the episode. And from now on, it's only gonna go down, each episode will be more and more depressing, nerve-wracking and freaking heart-attacking. Not ready.
Elliot wasn't a good influence to begin with. He's also a drug addict, just a more functioning one. He might not be a terrible person but he isn't the best either.
@@brybry8955 Rue told Jules she only likes to be loved and Maddie said the same thing to Cassie. Cal said Nate was his biggest regret and Rue said Jules was hers
Elliot is a very conflicting character for me because without looking into his actions too much he seems fine, he seems nice enough and like he doesn't want to do any harm... But then the scene where he wiped away his line that Rue left for him, and then suggested stealing alcohol which would then get Jules drunk.. all while knowing that Rue just snorted a whole ass line... Then left her on the side of the road???? To me it really seems like he is being covertly sober while getting the two girls under the influence.. but to them he is also not "sober" if that makes sense and it's very manipulative. I feel like he's trying to create some type of divide and it's just... he is shady.
people are talking about him like he's some manipulative criminal mastermind but like people forget he's like 16 in all likelihood he's just a teenager who wanted to smoke some weed and have some fun without knowing the consequences, as teenagers tend to do
Yeah but you’re forgetting that this is Euphoria and a lot of 16/17 year olds are malicious. Look at Nate for example. I personally think Elliot wanted this to happen this way because he wants Jules for himself, he also knew about Rue’s drug plan so he had to know it was a very very dumb idea to flush the drugs as he should know they werent Rues. All of this is just my theory, the way Jules just left after the beginning fight but Elliot stayed to watch Rue drive away to rehab. The look on his face just gave me the wrong vibes.
.@@maddy3109 agreed, I think he’s manipulating them both and perhaps he’s even involved in Laurie’s plan, since he also uses drugs and may have had problems with her in the past, and now he’s planning to give Rue to Laurie to pay his debt (“I don’t think it’s a good thing we met”). I think he’s much more than he seems, and if he isn’t involved with laurie directly I bet he’ll be the one paying the price for Rue’s mistake, aka the one who dies in Rue’s place
This is exactly how I was when I was going through withdrawal. But I'm doing better 3 months clean. So seeing this episode reminds me that I made the right decision to get clean
For those who don't understand why Eliot is kinda sus remember that he's the only other person who knew that Rue's drug case belonged to Laurie... and he still flushed it...
Hear me out hear me out ! What if Theory 1 : Rue did not escape laurie’s place and she imagined all of it ! Or what if theory 2 : Rue was sedated and trapped for way longer than a night but it felt like it because she was drugged and can’t remember ! (I mean the story is told with rue’s perspective so if she can’t remember so do we!!)
As someone that has been though addiction, i cried like a baby this episode. Like sobbed for a good hour. Esp when Laurie did what she did to Rue bc IV drug use ruined my entire life and i still am not the same even though it’s been 3 years. I’ve gotten everything but my happiness back. It made me physically ill to see her give into that but i was there at one point in my life. I was so sick and was with the wrong ppl and they told me it would help me not be sick and i didn’t care i just didn’t want to be sick anymore. ughhhhhh this episode really did a number on me.

Yay things finally happening. Plot development character growth stuff things I was worried we had stagnated but something has finally happened. I'm not a Maddie fan in fact I'm just the opposite. But that scene you know the one that scene was pretty funny. Elliot is only a manipulator if his manipulation is being extremely honest and only lying when other people lie first. I think people want someone to blame for the poor choices of their favorite characters.
I need an Elliot centric episode so I can actually see deeper into his character, but here's the thing. I wasn't very sure whether there was anything to his character other than being a plot device for Rue and Jules' explosion, but I saw a glimmer of it in episode 4. rue left drugs for Elliot in the bathroom, and he made a conscious decision not to do it so he wouldn't be as intoxicated as her, and then immediately suggested they go steal liquor. this puts rue in a situation where she cannot hide that she's using substances in front of Jules, calls her out for it when he was the one that suggested it, and the moment Jules was no longer secure in her relationship, chose to put himself and Rue for their drug abuse. this makes him look like he's more concerned with telling Jules the truth than rue is. I cannot tell whether he's being consciously or unconsciously manipulative, but it's manipulation nonetheless. he also has said things to Jules to make her doubt her relationship in episode 3 then immediately follows it up with superficial compliments because that's what Jules wanted to hear, that she's desired. she isn't getting what she wants from rue, but she's still "worthy" of getting the things she craves - physical validation.
Oh my goodness you are as cute as a button!!! I barely discovered your channel like a day ago. I've been watching your Euphoria s2 eps so I'm very new to your content and your channel but oh my goodness I'm so jelly of your patrons!!!! That was honestly incredibly sweet and kind of you to do for them and you radiate such wonderful energy! 😊💖
Rue is right when it comes to Jules. I love Jules but she does just love being loved. If she loved rue she wouldn't have done all that shit to her. She literally cheated on rue the night before she told her mom(which I'm glad she told her) but she showed up in ELLIOTS CLOTHES!!!! Thats not love. Elliots in the wrong too. He was apart of the cheating, Left rue on the side of the road knowing she was on drugs and drank. Rues right. Real friends don't do what they did.
Yeah. I don’t like that Elliot was worried about rue drinking. I’m like THEN WHY WOULD YOU SUGGEST TO GET BEER IN THE 1ST PLACE!!? & then still left on the side of the road when he didn’t have to listen to her & could of just drove her home 🤦🏽♀️he was def trying to get Jules alone or something
Nah she loves her. let's separate romantic love and sexual attraction from the love of a friend/family. that's an entirely different thing. Jules cheating on rue is an entirely different story, but she cares about her as a friend.
i think she does love love and rue it was just a lot having rue lash out at her in the car and then she finds out rue is doing other drugs they aren’t just friends but she also finds comfort (even sexual😩) from elliot. him just being there when rue can’t is the reason they hooked up i think but i think they both love rue i understand the anger rue feels but is misguided
This episode is so great showing on why not to do drugs cause it can lead you into an addiction and money problem to your dealer. I do love your new hair color and the dye reflecting in the light. The first 5 minutes were very real to me cause I was like Gia when my mom and brother argue when she found out he was doing weed the first time. The family wants him to get clean too but I think he has Rue's mindset to not take care of himself anymore.
uh, no, normal people don't get into money issues with their dealer. She's selling it, that's different. Also, most addicts are functional. If could be your friends, teacher, doctor, lawyer. Most people in tech and wall street do drugs. It's extremely common. Only few fall off the wagon.
@@emiil54 yes. And that's why she got into trouble with her "dealer". Normal people don't get into trouble with their dealers because they're not trying to buy $10000 worth of drugs.
Y'all are always overthinking things. It means that he misses the super chill rue that was his friend which he would sit and talk to, not the Rue that's ruthless and would hit him in the face. That's what he meant because he actually liked her personality, he admitted that.
Idk if you paid attention to the suitcase in last week's episode, but when Rue opened it up, there wasn't $10k in that suitcase left. She went through a lot of it, and hadn't sold much of anything...if at all. Why would she make a deal with a woman who threatened to sell her into human trafficking or worse? Because that was her drug brain telling her to get your fix any which way you can. Notice she barely flinched or freaked out at hearing that. Either way, she was going to be in trouble with that woman. Idc what people say about Elliot. He is a decent guy. He's no different than Fez being a caring drug dealer. The two don't fit together, but it is what it is. Yes. He does drugs. Same as every one of them on the show. But unlike Rue, he can control himself and knows when he's had enough...ie the bathroom scene where he decided to blow the drugs off the counter instead of sniffing it. He was over it. He tried to incorporate a three way physical relationship, but like he said to Jules, she doesn't seem to be into it. He tried with the truth or dare last episode and he was right. I know people give Jules hate for hooking up with him after he confessed what was going on, but she was in a trapped situation with Rue anyways. She was under the impression that she was still the anchor that kept Rue from slipping, because Rue made sure to make her feel like crap for leaving (even though Rue had no idea what Jules was dealing with at the time). Now, she finds out that that was a lie and now, not even that is stopping Rue from doing drugs. Emotions don't ring black and white like your opinions. Things get messy, and everyone on this show have layers of messiness. So her seeking comfort and/or validation from Elliot is emotionally natural. He didn't have to say anything, nor come to the house for the intervention. But he did the right thing, and so did Jules. People hate on him because Rue is supposed to be the protagonist, but she isn't. This is the bottom of the barrel of her self destruction. She went above and beyond in this episode, in the name of keeping her habit going. She swept through her family, friends and neighborhood like a tornado. No..you are not wrong for thinking Elliot is ok. He's not perfect, but he's not an antagonist. Rue's addiction is. Cassie is someone who deserves the side eye this season. Nate was always messed up in the head. You could expect crooked behavior from him. He doesn't care about Mackay, so he had no problem sleeping with Cassie. He knows he's messed up, and now he's got a lot to fix with himself and his family and Maddie. Cassie, knew what she was doing, but still tries to play the innocent victim. Now everybody, Kat is next, will have to look in the mirror and face the truth. My heart bleeds for Gia and their mom. They need to speak to counseling to help them deal with what they are going through with Rue. Rue is lucky she was able to escape from that house. I just hope her sister doesn't get kidnapped by them to be sold into sex trafficking.
AHH YES i agree with everything except for cassie i agree about nate being messed up so i expect him to not care (or just care for cassie) but i think cassie is just in a weird place she just lost her dad mckay and had an abortion nate came onto HER when she was at her most vulnerable and drunk yea she probably should have said no but she told mckay that she doesn’t think she’s a good person and told nate that she keeps making mistakes and not learning from them. She’s aware of her flaws and trauma i think (with the whole “i’m crazier than maddy thing) but she cares about maddy and nate genuinely i think cassie is innocent maddy and him were broken up
I hate when ppl say it glorifies drugs. People NEED to see what addiction truly does to ppl and their family/friends. This perfectly portrays an addicts real life hell. It happens more than ppl want to admit. Including with me and my family, as an active addict myself. It was very hard for me to watch. This is the ONLY show that accurately portrays addiction. Zendaya cemented herself as one of, if not the best actress today. And Sam Livingston, the creator and writer of the show, is the best rn. He was also an addict himself. I highly suggest you watch the cast interview on yt, he explains how it inspired him to create this show. He’s incredible.
I'm still not sure how I feel about Elliot. I liked him and gave him the benefit of the doubt up until now, but adding up every sketchy thing that he has done makes me question his intentions...
I love Elliot too! Everyone in this show is in a gray area. I think Elliot has really grown to love Rue and Jules. I really do believe he was trying to help. I think he couldn’t watch Rue kill herself anymore or lie to Jules who he also cares about. The fact that he came to the house with Jules to intervene shows that he is a stand up person.
I understand what you both mean but he literally knew about her plan (getting "free" drugs) and he said nothing, he just let them (or helped them) flush the drugs knowing Rue would be absolutely fucked. He also knew she was high and he left her on the street in the middle of the night (that was Jules' fault as well)....to me he seems very sus and not like a good person with good intentions honestly
I dont think so at all. In a previous episode you see Rue going to the bathroom to do drugs and then Elliot following after she’s done. Rue had layed out a line for him but he blew it away. So why do that, why not just tell Rue you’re concerned instead? Why do ALL these drugs together, and then just stop without telling her? He had to have known she had a problem because when they met she almost died. Idk yet whats going on exactly with Elliot but I don’t trust him at all, we know nothing about him yet.
@@maddy3109 Exactly! And right after that he decided to go and steal alcohol (which was just so stupid, that poor store owner had to deal with them stealing AND making a mess) knowing well that Rue was high. I think that the theory about him working with Laurie is very interesting. He just seems very off.
@@maddy3109 I agree that he isn’t right for either of them. But everyone in this show is toxic in their own way. I think he enjoyed doing drugs with Rue, but as time has gone on he’s seen how messed up she truly is and realized he has contributed to her downward spiral. With his growing feelings for Jules I believe he was debating on what to do. Especially because Rue has made him promise to not tell her. Something many people in the show struggle with. Gia and Lexi have both kept the same secret for Rue at different points. You could see his concern for her when she was drinking in the car. The idea to get alcohol and drop her off knowing she was high was stupid but they are dumb high school kids. Plus at the time he was still trying to keep Rue’s secret. I also think that knowing her for the time he has, he knew she wasn’t going to listen to him (another addict) about not doing drugs anymore. I have a feeling that Elliot and Jules discussed how to help Rue before they told her mom. They decided it was the best option. Again, a person who is deceitful and trying to manipulate things behind the scenes wouldn’t have showed up to confront Rue. Rue would have found Jules sitting in her living room alone.
he's been very manipulative quite a few times. the real question is whether it's intentional or unintentional and the only reason I can't say for sure is because I don't know what he has to gain if it's intentional. and I can explain exactly what he's done and why it's bad if you want.
@@Raccocooney well we need to remember he is also an addict, just like rue. we've seen his episode how much it affects judgement and means they'll do and say anything to get what they want. I mean rue brought a suitcase full of drugs to a NA meeting!? And like his episode I blame the drug addict inside, not rue for what she did - which were all intentionally bad
People are making theories. And I also have a one. You know how Rue told us that when she was in the hospital, she would imagine that the beeping of a monitor would be birds chirping? When you losten to the sounds during the escape from Laurie, you can hear birds chirping in a rhythm of fhe hospital monitor and also the lights turn down. Is she in the hospital? Did she get home? (I think she did, because the writer said it in "enter euphoria", but we won't really know til sunday😭🥲)
"Ok but like she didn't do anything." Well... she just robbed a house. They definitely called the police. And I'm pretty sure the guy got a look at Rue and gave them a description.
Say what you will about Elliot but if he hadn’t met Rue, she probably would have OD’d alone in the laundry room and died. He was using their mutual drug use to be close to Rue since it seems like he had genuine feelings for her that aren’t reciprocated. He probably thought “without drugs, She has no reason to hang out with me”. So telling Jules she’s using, knowing that it may lead to Rue getting clean and not wanting to be with/near Elliot, actually shows that he doesn’t want to manipulate her.
Lol I love how she told Jules that she sucks the spirit out of everyone but then can't see that's exactly what she's doing to her mom and Gia, along with stealing from friends and going on a rampage through her neighborhood.
I liked Eliot too, but rue literally told him about the plan with the suitcase and then he helped flush the drugs while knowing the possible consequences.
girl elliot knew rue was off her ass what she was off on, and drinking when he dropped her off on a FREE WAY. then slept with Jules behind her back and rated her out on the same stuff HES on. I cannot
The most heartbreaking part was when Rue told who much she "hates" Jules. But wonderful that Jules kept on saying she loves her. If Rue ever gets her shit together, I'm still hoping they can work things out
my issue with elliott rn is that he knew that those drugs were from a dealer because she told him her plan and he still et them flush it down the toilet like wtf
he’s an addict (i think he just does drugs because of the scene at his house when he didn’t take the line and he tried to stop her from drinking) yes but he’s not on her level they she literally went into cardiac arrest when they first met the only thing that makes me mad was that he told jules and let them throw away the suitcase
I like Elliot. I think he just goes with the situation. He wanted to be honest bc he has feelings for both and he seen rue spiraling and Jules was hurt. Jules was already trying to have sex with him so he didn’t have to tell her nothing. I think he’s a genuine person. But he’s also willing to go with anything that comes up.
Something I’ve been wondering watching Euphoria, I know I’m late. There’s a party scene in an episode of Euphoria, episode 1 I think. And a bunch of guys are sitting or standing and walking around a room. And they all have their shirts off for some reason I can’t imagine why?? It seems so weird to me! I’ve been to a few parties in my life, and I’ve never seen that! Am I missing something?? The scene when Nate is showing Mckay the video of Cassie having sex, and a bunch of other guys are there. ( with the suitcase flushing) I mean rue and Elliot did just randomly bump into each other on New Years, but like damn. This episode got me fucked up.
I feel worried for Rue’s mom and sister. Ultimately at the end of the day, someone is going to have to pay Laurie for those drugs.
Maybe Maddie can blackmail Nate/Cal to post Rue’s debt to Laurie since she has the CD as collateral. The Jacob’s are loaded so have the money.

- "That whole scene with Laurie was creepy as hell. Especially the scratching we could hear behind the locked door. I saw lots of people theorizing all the caged birds inside her home represent girls that she has locked up and trafficked/sold, so scary."
All just theories, but it seemed pretty likely that Rue was being prepped to be trafficked :(
It's that extra layer of insidious for me 😨
I mean this isn't really a theory, it's pretty clear at this point that this is what's happening...
@@pagingdrbitchcraft but she gave her 50 thousand suitcase, instead of 20 or 30 for example, knowing she won't return all that money, why?

i lost my sister when I was 15 due to an accidental overdose. this show is LOT for me, but this episode in particular was really. really rough. because this is exactly what this is like. they will do & say ANYTHING. they will *TRY* to lose EVERYONE. and the hardest part is having to watch it knowing that it’s NOT THEM. it’s the addiction. and you just have to be there, ready for them whenever they come back.
also, the amount of people blaming jules & saying that her telling leslie was a bad move or that she was “betraying” rue is driving me insane. it’s very obvious who has experience with addicts in real life & who doesn’t. and I’m glad for those that don’t !! it’s heartbreaking !! it’s a disease !! but MAN am I sick of people making everyone else a villain. rue did this to herself, & if jules hadn’t told? if they hadn’t gotten rid of the drugs? rue would have died. she was going to kill herself, intentionally or not. rue is a minor. the best thing to do was tell her mom. going to rue directly beforehand would have done nothing. addicts don’t care.

I liked Elliot right up *until* this episode. He *knew* that suitcase HAD to belong to someone else, and he let them flush it anyway. SHADY.
I saw a theory that Elliot actually works for laurie but idk how much I believe that theory lol
idk i still hold out hope for him, he seems like he's pretty genuine although maybe messed up himself, i think maybe once we get an episode about him (if we ever do) that will maybe help us figure him out more. I'm sure he felt like he couldn't say much when he already told Jules about the drugs and then maybe mentally felt bad for Rue and felt like he couldn't rat on her even more about the drugs possibly not being hers.
You liked Elliott clearly creating and exploiting the tensions in Rue and Jules relationship?🚩🚩🚩🚩

Also wait you look absolutely stunning for this episode

I’m calling it now: Rue will go to Ali for help and he’ll become the second closest fatherly figure she could get after the passing of her beloved father, and he’ll manage to help her stop doing drugs
if we're going over theories, I have a pretty dark and twisted one:
Gia is gonna get kidnapped by Laurie. this is probably the worst possible outcome so idk if the show will actually take such a dark turn. either this or fezco will die because they definitely foreshadowed that happening by him saying he trusts rue with his life.
@@TyDeAmazon I was actually thinking the same thing. If she can't get to Rue she'll go for an easy Target like Gia.

Not gonna lie, I did cry through most of the episode. And from now on, it's only gonna go down, each episode will be more and more depressing, nerve-wracking and freaking heart-attacking. Not ready.

When Rue dropped the bomb on the stairs, the edits you cut in 🤣🤣🤣 girl you kill me!!! Lexi's "Ohhhhhh my God" I'm dead!!!
I don’t think Elliot is manipulative like how everyone says. I think he’s just a teenage boy and his intentions aren’t malicious.
Honestly he saved rue, she would have been dead had she kept on using
people are talking about him like he's some manipulative criminal mastermind but like people forget he's like 16
in all likelihood he's just a teenager who wanted to smoke some weed and have some fun without knowing the consequences, as teenagers tend to do
Yeah but you’re forgetting that this is Euphoria and a lot of 16/17 year olds are malicious.

I cannot tell whether he's being consciously or unconsciously manipulative, but it's manipulation nonetheless. he also has said things to Jules to make her doubt her relationship in episode 3 then immediately follows it up with superficial compliments because that's what Jules wanted to hear, that she's desired. she isn't getting what she wants from rue, but she's still "worthy" of getting the things she craves - physical validation.
that makeup is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 today!!!!

The first scene had me sobbing. Ugly sobbing.
Jules cheating on rue is an entirely different story, but she cares about her as a friend.
i think she does love love and rue it was just a lot having rue lash out at her in the car and then she finds out rue is doing other drugs they aren’t just friends but she also finds comfort (even sexual😩) from elliot. him just being there when rue can’t is the reason they hooked up i think but i think they both love rue i understand the anger rue feels but is misguided
also i think he requested alcohol for jules and as an alternative to the drugs in the bathroom
@@shayleeholiday1408 Jules had no intention of using any substances so this is false. getting alcohol was a decision he made on his own.

@@ah2522 idk if by “ selling it “ you mean rue but if it is , then her plan was literally to get free drugs and die , not selling it

Same I love Elliot
Where’s the new episode girl 🙄🙄🙄
I view Elliot the same way you do. He's making some questionable choices but I don't think he's doing it to be manipulative.
he's been very manipulative quite a few times. the real question is whether it's intentional or unintentional and the only reason I can't say for sure is because I don't know what he has to gain if it's intentional. and I can explain exactly what he's done and why it's bad if you want.
Also he knew about rue's plan to get the drugs encouraged her and yet he helps them throw it out like wtf don't trust him
People are making theories.

Say what you will about Elliot but if he hadn’t met Rue, she probably would have OD’d alone in the laundry room and died. He was using their mutual drug use to be close to Rue since it seems like he had genuine feelings for her that aren’t reciprocated. He probably thought “without drugs, She has no reason to hang out with me”. So telling Jules she’s using, knowing that it may lead to Rue getting clean and not wanting to be with/near Elliot, actually shows that he doesn’t want to manipulate her.
I think Elliott told so he could gain Jules' trust and get into her pants...or he works for Laurie 😳
Rue just roasting everyone and telling facts
Lol I love how she told Jules that she sucks the spirit out of everyone but then can't see that's exactly what she's doing to her mom and Gia, along with stealing from friends and going on a rampage through her neighborhood.
I liked Eliot too, but rue literally told him about the plan with the suitcase and then he helped flush the drugs while knowing the possible consequences.
We miss your vids!!!
I’m now scared for julez because maddy has that cd
Maddy*
girl elliot knew rue was off her ass what she was off on, and drinking when he dropped her off on a FREE WAY. then slept with Jules behind her back and rated her out on the same stuff HES on. I cannot
👏🏼 Elliot is no good and Jules is naïve as usual
The most heartbreaking part was when Rue told who much she "hates" Jules. But wonderful that Jules kept on saying she loves her. If Rue ever gets her shit together, I'm still hoping they can work things out
nah i got to disagree with you on that there gonna be bad together even if there in a better place.
if loving someone is cheating on them and leaving them in the road at nigh while being drunk then damn i hate everyone
i feel like they should just be really close friends that kiss occasionally because of elliot and rue’s addiction
my issue with elliott rn is that he knew that those drugs were from a dealer because she told him her plan and he still et them flush it down the toilet like wtf
Is that a monitor in the back ? I love the lava looking thing in the background lol
although no nudity this episode our innocence was violently stripped from us.
Omg, I'm in love with you
My issue with Elliot is Jules is okay with cheating on Rue with Elliot who is also a drug addict too but then does a double turn on Rue
he’s an addict (i think he just does drugs because of the scene at his house when he didn’t take the line and he tried to stop her from drinking) yes but he’s not on her level they she literally went into cardiac arrest when they first met the only thing that makes me mad was that he told jules and let them throw away the suitcase
All rue had to say instead of running from the cop was she going homes from a friends house and she had her period and she was just nausea
WHY DO THEY ALL HAVE THEIR SHIRTS OFF?!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I lost my dad when I was 12 so this episode hit right in the feels🤠
I’m sorry for your loss.
@@Trigger10sn ❤
Im so sorry for your loss!!! I lost my dad in 2019 and this episode killed me man! And episode 4 when she was hugging him and saying “i miss yiu dad” ughhh ahaha
I lost my mom too, RIGHT in the feels lawd
Rue always goes to Lexi because Lexi is the only one who no matter what, has her back because she is not only her childhood bestie she also has a soft spot for ppl w/ addiction having a mother with an alchohol addiction and her father a drug addiction.
00:48 where is this clip from
U look stunning omfg
i'm worried about rue's mom and sister. If i ever talked back to my mom like that i would get grounded.
I'm so over the nate Cassie and Maddie story line kinda getting boring. I like the direction they are taking with Rue's character and I wouldn't mind some more lexi and fez
same
yes i can’t wait for lexi’s play i hope fez comes or is in it but i like the cassie maddie storyline (not as the main storyline but) it’s interesting seeing how trauma can destroy yourself image and friendships but also nate is such an interesting character to follow
@@shayleeholiday1408 I think the only reason I'm over it is because I think in the next episode nate is gonna get the tape back and will end up with Cassie and I don't want that to happen I'm so sick of stories where the bad guy always gets away with sh*t that's the only reason I'm saying I'm over it I don't want nate to end up with any of them and I just need Cassie to go to therapy to deal with all her issues
@@sasantipe yes i can’t wait for the tape to come out wherever Cal is but idk if maddy would do that to jules (if she knows it’s her) or anyone she might be pissed but she isn’t evil as for cassie yes my love needs a few sessions
LMFAO at 8:25, literally had to remember to breathe.
Hear me out.. I don’t know if anyone has said this yet, but maybe Elliot and Laurie are connected somehow. And his main goal was to get rue in debt to her. ( with the suitcase flushing) I mean rue and Elliot did just randomly bump into each other on New Years, but like damn. This episode got me fucked up.
4:40 low-key think Elliot kept a lil baggie for himself
