I had one when i did gun stippling. This is actually based off of shofu. It's a dentist tool actually. But I believe graphic transfer were the one's who started the trends of using Shofu kits for woodworking.
I've seen this thing a little while back and was extremely curious as to what it was like. Thanks for sharing Matt. It may be a while but I may pick this up at some point down the road.
I've owned one for about 10 years now and there one of the best . I have fordoms and all the others and the 400xs is a beast for wood or metal stone . Ti
Amazing video , I can see when your holding your new carver that you not holding tight as with the dremmel to stop from jumping 😀 I'm impressed with your new carver.
Well hopefully in a few more orders, I'll be able to cop one. I already got a craftsman compresser. Hopefully it will be a bit cheaper by the time I'm able to get it lol. Thanks again Matt. This answers my question on your ig I left haha
Hello, love your videos, I have been interested in building a tomahawk for a while now. What wood species do you recommend to use for the pole? Also, what suppliers do you recommend to use for accessories, especially ones that I can help support your channel. Thanks
Hi, Matt...been watching your videos for a very long time. My question on XS400 is the dust. I use the Dremel 2050 Stylus, and I've got Strong 202 Micro Motor where I do mostly glass. My work is generally outside; but, if the XS400 doesn't produce a whole big mess of dust shaving etc., then in the winter, I can use it in my basement. I love relief work, and thinking this may just be the ticket. Would a dust collection be necessary?
That's awesome, thanks for sharing. How much carving time were you getting between tank refills? Do you think you could run this using a free standing 5 gallon bottle? I don't have room in my workshop for a compressor, but I do have a compressor in my garage and have a 5 gallon bottle.
Thanks Mark. I thought this might be the case. I can't afford to run a compressor , dust extractor and tools at the same time, so I can give this tool a miss.
Hello Matt, I going to say "l won't be buying that tool" Matt my question is where do buy the bits? I still enjoyed watching your video. Take care and be safe
@@CorneliusCreations I guess I've got all the bits I need for now, thanks to you for the 4 bits you sent me. I will keep it in mind and write down the company's name. I haven't done much because of the heat. I do watch your videos and maybe I'll learn something new. Thank you and God Bless you.

What is the decibel level when operating? Perhaps I just missed it in your video?

awesome bro, Im a Maori wood carver here in New Zealand, this tool will make production faster.
I’ve used this engraver for many years. I love the detail and speed. It’s awesome.
I absolutely love my 400. It cuts through wood like a hot knife through butter. It’s beautiful.
It certainly Is!
I am hanging to see your next video regarding this. Awesome stuff
I will have one asap!

Awesome! I would love to see some of your work sometimes!

Awesome video as always Cornelius! Amazing product. Can you show the other bit types in your future video(s)?
I sure can!

Thank you very much!
WOW I think that is a great tool.
You should check out their website… the possibilities of this tool is crazy!
En Cuba nunca tendremos una herramienta como esa, saludos
They will ship to Cuba
That looks like a fun little tool. Your workshop has come a long way since the old days, it looks pretty flash now.
Thank you sir! I had to make it “camera friendly” lol
That looks awesome 👌
Thank you, Matt! I hope you have been well bro!
I'm so sad we don't have any of these great tools available in Europe :(

hello i have a question which hand piece I can still use for my Dremel Fortiflex
Do they make longer bits for deep tight places?
I am not sure, but give them a call, they will point you into the right direction!
You rock!
Thank you!
Как всегда супер👍👍👍
Thank you!

It’s not necessary but I do recommend one for what you are doing. Buy once cry once lol.

I have one. It won’t run long on a bottle. The 4.6 gallon compressor that came with it runs every few minutes for me.
Thanks Mark. I thought this might be the case. I can't afford to run a compressor , dust extractor and tools at the same time, so I can give this tool a miss.
I would love a tool like this, but the price tag is a bit much for a beginner. 🤪
Have had a Shofu Lab AirZ for the past 10 years. Been carving wood, tile, glass, metal and eggshells. Dremel is a no match for this.
Buenas noches donde puedo encontrar esa herramienta
The company is called scm
Can this be used for skull carving?
Most definitely... It will be insane for getting details!
This is a must have, I have a hobby of carving on glass and black granite and PVC but this is out of reach for me with my wallet
Hello Matt,
I going to say "l won't be buying that tool" Matt my question is where do buy the bits? I still enjoyed watching your video. Take care and be safe
Hey Ed! I can understand. I am glad you enjoyed the video! The bits I got were directly from SCM. For you, I recommend Dura-Grit burrs.

10 months ago when you made this, you said you were going to make more videos on it - but there are none. :(
I am working on one right now :)
Wow
Yep!
👍🙏
👊🏻👍🏻
It's 399.00 now but good lord it's beyond my price I'm just a beginner I got a tank and regulator but yeah
LOL $499..., That's Funny
Great video but those cost to much for what it is sorry 😞😞
Nope but thank you!
You're welcome!
Sorry. It is not the world's fastest! The 'Vortex 5" is 500,000rppms!
