Pro tip, DO NOT get the Super Hero Piccolo. It may seem ok for the price, but it pales in comparison to Proud Namekian. The only good thing about Super Hero Piccolo is that he has a smirking head sculpt that can fit on Proud Nemekian
I have the super hero piccolo and gotta say he’s alright except don’t like how his armpit looks when you pose. Kinda weird I know and mines kneecaps would come off. I’m excited for the re-issue of proud namekian though!

He was #10 but honestly not that bad of a figure. Just needed a number 10 but he was most liked out of them all 😊 I got him in a sweeet pose right now, I’m just more partial to the super Saiyan vegeta

Piccolo 1.0 has some serious flaws, but that "broken" cape bit is for his crossed arms. The bottom edge cut outs fit the arms. Without crossed arms, you use the full cap bit.
I've got the Proud Namekian preordered. Looking forward to that because Piccolo is my favorite, but this 1.0 is lame, haha!
Oh nice I gotcha! I figured that was the case but that piece just looked kinda tattered so figured it like battle damaged. But yeah I wanna get that re-issue of proud namekian! Where did you pre-order?

My least favorite in my collection might have to be my loose joints ssj4 goku:( bought him like that but I did get him for cheap so I didn’t loose money on him
Yeah the loose figures are rough. Kinda just hit or miss I guess on the quality control of the figure
I'm really surprised we didnt see final form frieza on this list. His articulation also sucks because he's so small and his tail is too heavy for him to be able to stand up. Absolutely infuriating to try to pose him and just when you think you got it, his tail falls off.

All SHF are bad quality. 80% of them have recalls. Resin statues and banpresto figures are SO MUCH BETTER, look better in the room and believe it or not hold value longer. These always break, get loose, lose pieces. Yea no...
I like posing them. Statues are good for collection of course but I just have fun with em! That piccolo is just terrible though haha
I think the full power goku, can be fixed with a tiny bit of glue rubbed in/on the joints and sanded or filed down until its as tight as youd like, less space and more friction in the joint. I think I prefer the Go symbol gi with the thinner belt, but for $35 its a fine goku figure to be on a shelf, and the 2.0 bodies are fine imo with the articulation but it needs some tightening in the joints. also if you play xenoverse, 2 is the good one. xv1 isnt as good and isnt needed. 2 is just a way better and more fun start and it still gets updates.

My least favourites in my collection are probably Kefla, whis Gi goki and vegeta, xenoverse trunks and time patroller

my collection is a fair bit smaller but the duds for me are super hero vegeta (great base head to stick on ssj body tho), the 35 dollar goku black (this thing is HELLA overrated. barely any hands even compared to the other 35 dollar releases and the wrist pegs come out whenever i try to swap the hands) and the 55 dollar krillin (QC issues out the ass, joints are super loose and BOTH kneecaps popped off right out the box).
Yeah I agree with the goku black. I almost put him in the list too but I didn’t have the wrist peg issue. As for Krillin mine was really well done although posing him for a bit on of the kneecaps did pop off. I’ve had that issue with a few other figures though so thought it was just kinda normal
The Superhero vageta i have ended up having crazy articulation. The legs kick higher than the one in the photos, and he's able to go crazy with his neck. I modified his chest, where all you do is get rid of a piece of plastic inside, and it allows him to have a deeper ab crunch.

yea 1.0 are pretty bad compared to the newer ones so its kinda unfair to compare 1.0 to 2.0s.
Yeah it’s kinda night and day difference. If I come across any 1.0’s I’d probably just keep them sealed lol

My arms are tight and squeak but the legs are very loose!
My main pet hates are: Gold, Clear hair and glossy bodies.

I love the display but one time I left my ssj 4 goku on my shelf that is really close to a window and I may be tweaking but it may be discolored a little bit I may be the only one that sees it though lol
I know the sun can fade or change some of the color. I don’t really open the windows up where it’s at but do you think yours changed color even with them closed? Or do you have it opened a lot with sun shining directly in?

Gotenks and event SSJ 2 Goku, I don’t know if mine are defective or what but you can’t even tap them without the face plates coming off. I swapped Gotenks head with a DF version and it’s 100% better.

@@Wasting_Money yes I did, honestly I recommend getting the heads for figures a soon as they come out , because they skyrocket after they are out. 8$ ultra instinct for Vegeta Super hero is out now and it looks great imo.
For the Piccolo figure, have you tried putting it in hot/warm water to get the arms on...? You say they're loose, but the arms appear as if they're not even attaching fully. Try that if you haven't!
I haven’t but I think the pegs to go into the hole for arms are just chipped or the holes are too big from being used and abused from the previous owner

The Piccolo figure, that's not a broken cape, it's made to follow the shape of his crossed arms perfectly.
The color seems off though, this is the second figure I grabbed after Goku 1.0 and I never complained. Well I did but because he is very loose and is prone to falling.
Also have you noticed the difference in color with Vegeta's forearms?
One that I was really bummed about is the OG Frieza release, I got it after I had gotten a bootleg and his chest yellowed over time. But like BADLY I had to put everything on the bootleg chest so the figure wasn't ruined.
Weird! So the cross arms changed the color of your figure? I haven’t kept cross arms on my Frieza for long but have had it on Vegeta for awhile and it seems a lot. And yeah makes sense with the cape! I’m just waiting for the re-issue of the proud namekian for a good piccolo 😎
@@Wasting_Money no, no the chest yellowed on its own. Just one figure I didn't like because of a fault. Seems like the chest plastic was bad.
Other than that the only figure I don't really enjoy is the SSJ3 Goku one, his hairpiece is too heavy and it's hard to pose him right.

You need to get the super hero piccolo if you don’t have it. I think it’s a really good figure. It’s just kind of bland because he doesn’t come with his cloak or any effect pieces. But personally I even think it’s better than the proud namekian piccolo figure because the body mold and the faces looks better.
I have the super hero one and yeah I really like it! I do like the face sculpts more and that one too. Looks more like piccolo
Can you out the ultimate gohan head into the ssj full power Goku body because if you can I might but it
So you can but you’d need a 3.0 peg. The full power goku is a 2.0 goku so the neck peg is a lot smaller than the ultimate Gohan 3.0 head

@@anthonybernero9720 the imperfect cell is newer and 2.0. That one is pretty good but has some flaws. Mainly just the wings don’t stay on very good but it’s a cool figure to have and pose!

If you dont want tight joints on your figures you could get a toothpick and sime chapstick and rub it in the joint and move around a bit than it should be unsqueaky

@@Wasting_Money This might sound weird but clear nail polish helps the joint stiffen. But there is also a company that makes stuff to tighten the joints its called kiki fix loose joints. I hope this helps!

I really like 1.0 Piccolo he was one of my first figures and got me into the line seeing that figure in stop motions and stuff growing up. You just got really unlucky with your copy same thing happened to me with 1.0 scouter Vegeta he just fell apart right outta the box his joints were so loose he couldn't even stand. While I like most 1.0 figures the line has most definitely improved
Yeah I got that piccolo already used but yeah pretty much can’t do anything with it other than have it standing up haha. They’ve definitely came a long way since though!

Your Piccolo figure looks kinda strange. It looks like a fake or bootleg version. Did you buy it new or used? I own this figure too and it's one of my favorites because he has the original colours from the manga and i liked the design of the first release
I got it used local but it seemed legit. Just old and abused. It’s the Kai version piccolo so not sure exactly but I think there’s a lot of different ones
I just checked the box of the original and it says Dragon Ball Kai and not Z and has the funimation logo on the left above the text.
@@AmazingFrenchman yeah on the back of the box it says Kai but has a DBZ sticker on it. Think they faked these? The toei sticker seems good
@@Wasting_Money maybe... hard to tell, the carboard would be a good tell if you really compare it to another figure form the same era. Mine's colors are more muted, the green is a bit softer.
I thought maybe we had different versions but the other one has Pink skin accents rather than yellow.
