He says “thank you, thank you very much”….(in a bad Elvis voice, of course). I am his wife and he finally found a way to touch his childhood dream of being a radio DJ😉
3:48 The Chinese writing about this ship relates back to when Majestic Princess was originally built it was intended to focus on the Peoples Republic of China as a new market. This would have a big influence on internal features. I sailed into and out of China a few years back o Diamond Princess and it was surprising that they could seemingly run the casino in the day with tables fully occupied.
@@CruiseThroughRetirement We had our passports withheld by the ship for the duration of the cruise and at some ports you were given a photocopy of your passport to use ashore. We eventually found a bank that would accept this in conjunction with bank card. Some HAL cruisers pointed the bank out for us. At the end of the cruise our passports had been stamped with entry and exit stamps from Peoples Republic of China and also Taiwan. You need printed hotel information in foreign script and English for taxi from airport, ship gives you a copy of the Patter with information about where the ship is for taxi driver back to the port.
WOW! Thank you for your kind words. I hope you will consider subscribing (if not already) to see more in the future. Also check out our review of this ship.
We full time travel as nomads on both land and sea. We have spent the last 4 months in SE Asia. We will have a cruise series on Ha Long Bay Vietnam out shortly, followed by a transpacific repo and a season of cruises from the U.S. So we mix it up with cheaper land trips. Our website has info on how to get rid of everything, our nomad life, and cruising….we hope you’ll check it out! www.TasteLifeWithUs.com

We really enjoyed the Chinese aspect of the ship. It would be really fun to sail a China-based cruise line sometime for the experience.

Really? Interesting. We haven't been on the Royal but that makes sense.
How did you sell everything and just cruise? We cruise but we need a homebase.
