Idaho is beautiful, and I wanted to complete this BDR really really bad. I am starting to accumulate multiple partial bdrs. Lol $20 amazon saw got us through!
We rode the NW Passage last week (Sept 28 - Oct 5th) and we hit similar conditions. Fortunately, we were able to get around them. I need to add a saw to my kit. At least you had some company to help. . Snow.. wow. Stay safe out there. ~GrizzLee

You mentioned something last video but i didnt catch it. Why are all trees dead, bark beetles? Holy crap thats a lot of felled trees. Thank goodness all that help showed up. 👍
Yes, its beetle blight and fire. We saw the beetle blight all the way through Canada and in Alaska when we rode to Alaska last year. I was super stoked to have all the help!
Dude that's what I call "Its All Part Of The Adventure". Good thing there were others to help. Bad thing for the one who cut his hand. All the more reason we as riders have to be extremely careful when handling stuff like that. We get caught up in the comeradity and excitement then bang! something bad happens. Hopefully he got it stitched up quick.
Build it up on both sides at the lowest part and ride over it for gods sake !!!. I’m never seen so my people have such a hard time getting over a stupid log !! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

we made sure to bring hand saws and they got the job done.

The last tree was so big only a chainsaw was getting through that, luckily someone had one and went through before us!
