Also, CONGRATULATIONS to you, pianokid100 because you are one of the few people to make a Homecoming tutorial in the right key! If I had a medal for this I'd give you one, man.
Thanx, good job man! I have been playing the piano for about two weeks and after about an hour and a half I pretty much have this down. For all the beginners just break it down in sections and you will get it. Keep up the good work, man!
i think its annoying how all people can comment on is the tapping ignoring the fact the guy can play and is trying to help. Congrats on the vid mate, rushed explaining the last bit though. Still a great help keep playing :D
wow, you are fantastic video. this video really helped me. i also labeled the numbers of the chords on the keys which helps a lot. but great video thank you so much.
@CRAZYXBLACKXMAN i learn the songs by ear. the key steps are to first learn the bass notes, and then learn the right hand melody. the melody can be the singers voice or a musical instrument. These two steps will point out what the chords are. For example, if the bass is an E and the singer is singing a G, the chords is most likely an E minor, etc. once youve been playing off ear for years, you wont even need to do that, you will be able to just play a song you hear on the spot without practice
i think its from when he hits the black keys, it comes back up and hits the bottom of his keyboard which is making that noise ? but thats just a guess , so idk .
with respect to my previous comment, most of the sheet music you can buy or find is in E minor. the music is transposed down to include less black keys without altering the song too much... but the song is in F minor
When you play along with the recording on a piano tuned to A=440 it doesn't fit. I think that's where the confusion regarding the correct key comes from. I tuned my virtual piano to (approximately) A=451 and can play this in E with the recording.
i agree with supergreenfreak i love this song and i got through the first part and everything fine, but the rest of it went down hill from there kuz i just couldnt follow, SLOW DOWN
your going a little too fast and only say the notes once. so i kinda have to keep stopping the vid and listening back to it over and over again. but thanks for the post this is a great song

I'm pretty sure you're in the wrong key. You're a half step too low
