08-15-20: Okay, I made not one, but 3 in about a half an hour. I cut everything out first and then went for it. Talk about easy and quite functional for all the cards I carry in my purse. This definitely comes in handy and I will be making some for stocking stuffers at Christmastime...thanks again!!

Wonderful method of closing it up after turning inside out! The seam gets hidden inside the pocket! So glad this video was recommended after I searched and watched a few other ones. I decided to make them without the elastic, and added a row of stitching down the center so it knows where to fold itself. I used a woven Peruvian fabric for the outside that actually didn’t need interfacing, and plain fabric for the rest. I plan to give them as gifts for contact cards but am putting a couple of individually wrapped tea bags and 2 candies inside the pockets so they also can have a taste of Peru! Thanks for sharing!

thanks for this video Ashley. love the way you turned the open end out and finished it off so the seam is inside. Great idea.

My collection of cards has grown to the point where they drive me crazy. I think your design will hold at least 10 in a side. Thanks so much for a timely tutorial!

I made this for carrying just my ID and a few cards on vacation. I ended up using it in the pool and ocean to carry my room key, and it dried fairly quickly afterwards. (The slippery card was just slipping out of my pocket alone. )

Wonderful little pouch, thank you. If not overlocking/zigzagging the edges, I would have used pinking shears to avoid fraying when washed? Could also sew in a silver reflective liner, to stop fraudsters taking your details, as some modern purses are now made with. Love this simple design and will be making it, thanks again.
