    I love the tutorial. Also it was nice that you showed what to do if you noticed the stitching is off.. you made it look so easy. Your instructions are very clear and your demonstration is easy to follow. Also thanks for telling us to iron on the material and not the fusible interfacing.

      I make mistakes when sewing because I am not a professional and the best thing is that in my videos, I discuss the "oops" with you. : ) I leave in my mistakes so you can learn as well. I hope you watch a few more. P.S. I learned the hard way about the fusible interface..... by that, I mean it was stuck to my iron when I started sewing. : )

    I just love this mini wallet/gift card holder. I did a craft show and a lady asked if I sell any. I’m a new sewer and video made sense to me. I made four already. My sister loved it, so have one. Thank You Niki!!!

      Hello. I got this one at Hobby Lobby, using a coupon because I needed it right away for a class I was teaching there. I paid $17 with the coupon. Check Walmart or Amazon because I found them cheaper. : )

      It's great for small projects. I also like that iron for sewing hems on clothing... especially curves! Get it with a coupon though. Don't pay full price for it!

      Very nice! I have done that with some I have at my booths. It is a nice option for people to use it for their debit cards as well.

    Hi MS Nikki I'm a new subscriber and a beginner sewer I was just wondering about the machine bobbin does it matter what.type of machine you have

    • @SewnByNikki
      @SewnByNikki  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, If you have a newer machine, the bobbin case will be very similar to others. If you have an older model, the bobbin case may be facing outwards, toward your body. What are you trying to do?

    Nikki, do you have a tutorial on how to make a backpack? I saw them on your first video.

    • @SewnByNikki
      @SewnByNikki  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! I do not have one on a backpack. I have made them... if you looked at my Instagram account, from some of the earlier pictures, there are pictures. Let me know if that's a tutorial you'd like, or a knapsack type of backpack like the Harry Potter one I recently posted and I'll see if I can get a video done for that. No promises though because that's a 2-3 hour project! It would need to be several videos in order for you to see every step and not "sped up."

    Would it be possible to put a snap on this when making it?

    • @SewnByNikki
      @SewnByNikki  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is. Keep in mind you would loose space at the bottom of the card holder area if you used the plastic snaps on the outside. To use snaps where they are placed inside, you would just need to put them on while the fabrics are facing right sides together; before sewing around all the edges.
