At first, I was reluctant to click this video because most remixes made by others aren't usually good from my experience. But this. I just- I love it, and I love you.
This brings back so much Nostalgia, and it also brings inspiration to help make a Jak 4 one day. I love this game, even now at 16, almost 17, and this makes me love 10 times more!
I found this like 2 years ago and I still haven't gotten sick of it. Amazing job keeping the Jak and Daxter element while making it unique and epic, my sir. May I use this in a future speedpaint of mine? :3

That "tick-tock" beat was a bit of a doozy to figure out(plus I learned a sweet trick with the hat samples), and it probably sounds more like a level theme because the percussion is more prominent than in the original, with the hats and snares and kicks and stuff. They seem to add more energy to music, and sort of drain away that "giant-ominous-robot-of-DOOOOM" feeling, lol. Still, I'm glad you liked the way it turned out!
Andrei Gabriel Dobre I still think the Jak series deserves some recognition this series was revolutionary when it came out and popularized the open sandbox genre i know they have no history with Nintendo but it can’t be ignored the impact these games have had
I remember that i was scared of this boss as a kid, and when i replayed it now when i’m older i still find it very creepy but that’s obviously the point ;) great remix of this theme man :) The second game is perhaps better but more difficult to beat and quite frustrating at times which makes this game more enjoyable to me
Hero mode+infinite light and dark jak+infinite ammo+this = Jak feeling like a god in this fight. Honestly, the light shield during the laser, dark bomb/super nova to clear enemies, and dark blast (the hadouken, not the dark tornado as it shouldve been called since he spins) afterall, its fitting to kill Erol as Dark Jak since we couldn't do the same to Praxis (but to praxis's credit, he at least died with dignity and a subtle respect for Jak.
Currently doing a full Platinum run of all the Jak games and listening to some OSTs, this popped up in my recommended, apparently I'd liked it before but I don't remember that, so excellent job. Fun fact though, this theme is also technically Metal Kors theme from Jak 2, at least the bass line anyway

I remember when I first started playing the Jak and Daxter Games, that was about 11 years ago. I started with Jak 2 cause that was the first game I got my hands on by coincidence 😅 There was a mission where you had to kill all those Guards in Jetpacks at the oil rig and I got always killed that was the only mission I really hated😂 Metal Kor was a joke against it(and Jak 3 in whole was easier than Jak 2). But I got addicted to the whole series and it made a huge impact on my whole time with video games and I never found one which I loved as much as those games. That remix brings it all back and is really great. Bet it would've been awesome to hear in the actual game.
I know that this is very old by now but this is actually a really good remix of this boss theme, very epic but there is one thing that could have been better and that is the quality of the audio as i can hear the volume fluctuating, perhaps the master volume was set too high which results in a lot of distortion sadly
I think he seemed super easy was cause they gave you so many gunmods. Not complaining about it, but thats probably why he seemed super easy. Especially if you used the beam reflector or peace maker a lot. Even the super nova damages him and you could aim away.

its still considered canon within the series though. so there isn't much you can do. i thought the game was great. yeah i'm a "heathen" right? whatever. the game was great and was different. they added and removed things from the formula. i mean. if you go back to the first game and how eco was used. and compare it to lost frontier, its evolutionary on how jak can use eco. and that was great. the only thing you got out of the eco powers was the morph gun in two and three. and you got light and dark powers which was what really helped. but lost frontier advanced jaks abilities more. if you cant see that then i'm not sure how you are a jak and daxter fan.

The Idea of this game is really good and has his moments (For example the abonnded Laboratory or the Aropana Barracks) but its the execution wich failed miserable. I mean Level design has seen better days, some Flight missions are God affaul and don't get me started about Dark Daxter, wich makes Lore-wise no sense.
Sirus, Reaper of The Void there’s where I disagree I think they removed too much to the point it’s not even a Jak game anymore they even tease you in the opening with Dark Jak but Dark Jak never shows up after that. look I wanted this game to be good I also wanted it to be different as well but my main problem is you don’t care cause there’s so many plot holes in the story that are ethier never explained and new gimmicks that take you out of the game I’m talking the points were it becomes Jak and Daxter Nuts and Bolts where you destroy planes take there parts and build weapons to me that got redundant really fast too me this game was terrible and a boring game waste of a great franchise but hey that’s just my opinion if you like this game that fine let’s just agree to disagree

SkopioXV2 I'm trying to find an MIDI for the so I can remix it in GarageBand, but no avail. I tried converting an MP3 to MIDI, but all I got gyuijahvfnsadljkfhdjsklafhaskd basically. It was everything jumbled up in a single piano section.
