having a weird issue when i plug it into another computer and try to open it it tells me im not an administrator ( i dont have admin rights to the computer) why is it requiring admin rights to open an external drive ? i haven't had this issue with similar products
I followed all the steps for my Sandisk Ultra 3.0 Flash Pendrive but the application not detecting the pendrive and asking to connect a supported sandisk device.
This interface is way different from the interface on the Extreme Go SanDisk from Costco. And then he skipped the step where you actually transferred the data. This video was not useful for me.

@@PrinterGuruji it means that before unlocking the ssd on a new device (phone, pc, laptop...), any device needs installing the sandisk password app/sandisk app (the app name depends on the device OS). If not, we cannot unlock the ssd without installing the Sandisk app!? Thanks,

It should have worked. To make it working you may have to download SanDisk software.

I am using microsoft surface pro laptop. For android phone to open the ssd you need the app that can open the lock.

it's another drive for your device. Some people use it for extra storage

After connecting the disk I don’t have any installation files there. The disk is empty. What should i do? Make a complaint?
You can just format it with laptop and encript it with password. If you want you can return or exchange if the Scandisk software is not there.

It will ask to install the SanDisk to open lock , it wont ipen without the password
