I've said it before, I'll say it again: wow, wow, wow, your episodes and filmcraft just keep getting better and better. That's a great new intro, but so glad you kept Elayna's laughing dive onto the bunk; that's a Trademark moment. Lenny blooms, and you all deserve as much rest and relaxation in the spectacular Azores as you can muster. Thanks for share this fabulous location with us. Don't sweat the videos, enjoy your life there. Our wait on this end is always worth it when you deliver, and we're not going anywhere. And there were no ads at all in this episode; hooray, and well done. Stay safe and well, best wishes from Bathurst NSW Australia (where it's a fresh Spring, green with recent rain and new blossoms, such a change since last year and drought). Sail on sailors!
Elayna we love the videos but more importantly we love when your loving life in the videos, if that means a video doesn't go out or is late so be it! ❤️
Agreed! Excellent new intro change! No longer a stowaway but a crew member!!! PS I was swept into a river during a flood and broke my back and both of my arms. I have recovered without surgeries and there are some basics that can help with Riley's back: Always try and sleep with a pillow between his legs to reduce strain on the sacrum. Tart Cherry extract can help reduce inflammation. Also various forms of Capiscum. Hip flexor stretching to reduce the Ham strings pulling on the pelvic girdle. Learning proper kettle bell usage for squats and hip mobility. I found learning Turkish Get up invaluable. Also a portable TENS unit, very inexpensive, can be a life saver during spasm episodes. Try and avoid NSAIDs if possible but if you are in spasm they can help. I am NOT a DR. but I am twice Riley's age and completely understand what he is dealing with and encourage him to try any and all options until he finds what works. PPS carrying copies of x-rays and or MRI's as digital files can also make things easier when you get to a new DR.
Wonderful, wonderful feedback for Riley. Glad the osteopath got you where you needed to be!May I also just add that if discomfort is in the mid region never underestimate the connection to the kidneys. I've had back issues my entire life and there's often a connection to the kidneys. One time I had terrible back problems and it turned out to be a kidney infection and once it cleared up, my spine was fine again. Maybe ease up on the alcohol and it's good that you just cleaned your water maker. One can never stress the importance of pure water enough. If there are any heavy metals or particulates this can weigh heavily on the kidneys and cause back pain. We tend to always assume that discomfort is due to structural issues but if you talk to any really good chiropractor they'll tell you that the many nerve endings that funnel into the spine are completely related to all the organ systems in the body. Heart issues can produce discomfort in between the shoulder blades, reproductive issues can cause back pain in the lower spine, and as I mentioned kidney issues can cause issues in the mid to lower back region. It's really important to be aware of that connection. MOLD can also be a very significant factor. I know you guys often clean the mold off of the walls etc in the boat but that's actually critical. Exposure to large or concentrated amounts of mold will tax the kidneys and produced back issues which sometimes won't even manifest until you do heavy lifting, etc. If you've been in some really old buildings, you might have exposed yourself to some bad mold. I coach folks on this often. Feel free to email me if you want some remedies to kill mold in lungs, internally and in boat. ariadelphi@yahoo.com
Willis the Azores is very similar to New Zealand. I went to NZ when i was 14yo to see relatives both North and South Island 31 years ago, and I use to live the Azores up until 2008. There are many similarities between them, even as far as the Hāngi (cooking in the ground). There are many unique things about each island and although i haven't been to all of the islands only 5 of 9. I do plan and seeing the rest one day and retiring on the island of Pico.
a travel quote that seems really relevant to what you guys do - " though we travel the world over to find the beautiful we must carry it with us or we find it not " be safe take care XxX
I loved bri from years ago on below deck. It’s so interesting to see her come full circle back into my life in another way. She was always inspiring to me back then and even more today. I love seeing her travel with you all. Love the new intro
I'm amazed how u guys always seem to have useful friends who can help or guide when u find urself in a spot of bother. I think its a sign that Riley and Elayna are just good people so people tend to want to help them
The best thing about having Lenny with you guys is to enjoy seeing things through his eyes and his mischievous side, blooming right in front of our eyes! He is a little man who will learn from this thing called Life, every wave at a time, every island at a time and the stories he will one day be able to tell from HIS perspective, will be legendary! What a way to live your life! Stay safe and healthy! 😊💞🌻🌼🌸🙏😍
Look like the Azores is really lost Atlantis. My back tricked out a few days ago, too, (Grrrr) so just lay in my little boat under beach umbrella Bimini reading 'Household Gods' soaking up the last of the summer sun on the Rideau canal(Yaaay). Always mash 'like' at intro to your vlog.
Add to the fact your in a beautiful place; that Lenny is exploring and seeing things he has never even dreamed of; makes your own experiences all the more special.
You are doing things, and experiencing things... The good and bad that really are special. Lenny is being brought up with a life he will cherish. I had the pleasure of living in Iran as a young child. My father and mother took me there and to this day at 52 years old I love those memories. Lenny will have so many more...
Omgggg I always feared when you made a new intro that, Elayna, you would take out the part of you jumping into the bed and laughing because LITERALLY your laugh makes me smile😊❤️
I keep repeating myself after each episode, but the cinematography is just crazy good. The clarity of the shots, the waterfalls, the vegetation, OK, the deer too.... Thank you for taking us on your journeys....
Duckletics - the most fun sport for young sailors. Watching Your joy amidst this beautiful landscape is such a happy sight. Just Thank You for enriching my life!
It's actually really easy to make your own plant milk. For oat milk all you need to do is blend oats with water. To prevent it going slimy you can strain it through a nut milk bag (or any cotton cloth). Could save some weight as well!
GaryEvansb My comment wasn't about the nutritional/ethical value of oat milk. It was merely about being able to save weight/space. To make 20L (≈ 20KG) of oat milk you only need 2KG of oats and the rest is water. So they could save a lot of weight/space by just bringing aboard the oats and making their plant milk with the water from the watermaker. But nice come back 👍
GaryEvansb Thanks for your honest and nice reply too 😊 I forget the demographic of sailing videos might not be the same as most other YT channels I watch, and that a comment about plant milk can be interpreted as an annoying treehugger activist trying to change the world again. (I mean I am a bit of a treehugger, but I also think a lot of activist's approaches have the adverse effect and the world is less black and white/more complex than some people make it out to be)
Love the way you blended the old footage with the new for your opening! We really appreciate all your hard work that goes into each presentation! We love you guys and watch daily. Catching up is fun, and though we never intended to do anything but enjoy, we find we are learning about nautical weather, places we get to see and enjoy, but most likely not get see in person. Especially love the history you share...we then share with our home schooled grandkids....what an incredible life you are living and giving Lenny!!!
You guys really give me chills on my skin right now ... The way you guys felt and speak about this island like us local people feel as well , it's amazing ... A big thank you to you guys , and we are glad that you guys enjoy it ... Its not many people knows about this paradise ... Congrats to you guys for funding the Peace/Nature/ocean 😉 be safe out there
Wow. Thank you for stopping in the Azores. Ive had many friends that have lived there (US military). Im completely blown away at how gorgeous it is. Im so adding this to my bucket list!
I had back problems that would not go away, could not sleep thru the night without waking up in pain. After 4 months I finally went to an osteopath. It was like she performed a miracle on me. It was truly amazing what this lady did for me. Great vid , Azores were all ready on my bucket list. Just have to get rid of this nasty pandemic first.
Riley, I really want to congratulate you! On what appears to be a big step up in your growth as a Captain ! Considering the needs and the safety of your vessel, and crew, as more important than any short term goal you may have; if your"re still in the Azores, may your trip continue to be the greatest! Keep on trucking, mate!
Riley and Elayna, your videos make it easier for us to survive being landlocked! We love your escapades and seeing how you're making the best of life. We really miss sailing, and you help us keep our dream alive. We spent a while in the Azores, and there's no lovelier place! And we enjoy seeing Lenny being so cute! Thank you for allowing us to share in your travels. Jef and Barbra
That sentence really caught my attention as well. If these guys are amazed by the landscape ... you know it must be amazing because they have been to some really amazing spots
Is it just me or is Riley’s looking like a John Lennon with those glasses? (BTW Seeing him getting a massage while sailing in paradise definitely brings to mind the saying “living the life of Riley”).
I haven't caught up with your videos for a bit now, and I didn't think it had been that long until I saw how big Lenny has gotten! Last time I watched, he was just starting to pull himself up on things and stand and now he's WALKING. He's so big I wanna cry!!! Now I gotta go back through all the missed videos and catch up -- feel like I've missed SO much.
This episode was brillant! I travelled myself, and I am so relieved that you are now taking slower, it is the best way. We can see in your face and we can feel in the episode how happy you are... And it really makes the episode much nicer to watch 😊 and thanking you for promoting the azores, it really is paradise. love you guys!! Kisses from Lisboa ❤️
All of a sudden, I'm like "whoa was that a new intro?!" and so I had to restart the video to watch it again. :) Love it! Also, definitely adding this island to my bucket list. Aaaand, the rapping at the end was epic! :)
I hardly ever comment because others say it better than I do but, you two were made for each other. Lenny is a very lucky little guy to have you two raising him, GREAT JOB!
How good for both/all three/all four of you to enjoy this wonderful time in your lives and let us who can't make it there and never will in some cases. What fun it looks like.
My family is from the Azores (Sao Miguel) and moved to Canada years ago. In 2018 we had the chance to go back with our entire extended family and experience my Grandparents land. Wow, what a legendary place...just stunning. Thanks for the great episode guys and enjoy the rest of your journeys in the beautiful Azores! Cheers!
I have been watching for years. This video. Is the only one I have commented on. Its my favorite. Maybe this virus is what y'all needed. I hope there is another video next week. Y'all are one of the few things I look forword to.
Don’t know why, but I really enjoyed this episode most then the other ones as of late. Maybe it’s because Elayna was doing most of the driving. Can’t quite put my finger on it!
Girl! You look like you just got younger! Pushing away stress and keepin it cool is makin you look younger. Relaxation is GREAT! and like robby said yesterday, Lenny does look like an Irwin with that blonde hair and olive complexion and tanned like he is. The whole family looks great in their walkabout having a beaut of a good time.
Thank you guys for the wonderful introduction to these stunning islands. I have been to Hawaii many times but the Azores are something otherworldly. Kauai comes to mind as a possible rival but it now so commercialized that it might be for some ruined. Lenny is growing into a lovely little man...congratulate yourselves.
Wow! My people are from the Azores and immigrated to Hawaii in the 30's. Got to get to the Azores. I had no idea how breathtakingly beautiful it is. Thank you for sharing this w/all of us.
Haven’t watched in a few months because I recently joined the military so I was away from electronics for a while and wow this episode was amazing felt like a little vacation into my phone ( I’m in the barracks right now)
This was an absolute stunner of an episode for many reasons but mostly because of the Azores. I hope to make it there one day. Beautiful and thank you for sharing.
4:38 I don't know when or where this trick is gonna be useful for me but I have a feeling it will be eventually so I gotta remember it. Actually blew my mind
Love the new intro! And I love what Elayna says about trying to take a break from the work, and getting to enjoy and actually experiencing all of these amazing places you travel to! Really enjoyed this episode!
Happy birthday Elayna and Bri! Some (I'm going to say most) of us can't experience what you guys are doing and what have done! This is probably why we watch your videos. Keep them coming! My wife, kids, and I will probably never visit Azores, so it's important for you, Riley and Lenny to share your experiences here.
Please take time to enjoy your little boy! Time goes by so fast! When he goes off to college your heart will break! You’ll be happy for him, but you’ll want him back❤️
The end remind me of when I was 14 with my friends and a sleep over and we would just start filming ourselves on the laptop webcam and mess around and then watch it back and cry laughing 😂
At last you have re - calculated the time at sea. I have been following you for EVER, and I’m sure it’s more than 6 years that your adventures have been entertaining us all. Here’s to the next 6 !!
Here I am stuck in an office every single day and yet it feels like I am travelling the world with you guys at the same time! The videos keep getting better and better and it's so good to see you guys appreciating life and each other! Keep it up x
Just WOW 🤩 I never knew this place existed. I feel like it’s one of those you need to see for yourself to embrace the beauty of the land. Defo want to visit here. Thanks for sharing
GREAT INTRO! Lenny's status has been upgraded from "stowaway"!
He’s earned his keep! 😂 ❤️ 👶
He is almost two years old now!
He'll be 'Watch Stander' soon.
It may or may not have made me tear up a little...
Frank Grimes 'bout time too 🙄
Breathtaking! I just turned 71 today & consider this my gift to be able to see such a beautiful place, so thanks to you all for sharing! ♥♥♥
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday 🎈🎁🎂
Happy birthday!

The Azores reminds me so much of New Zealand. Very similar scenery to the far North, Waikato/Rotorua and much of the South Island. Beautiful

a travel quote that seems really relevant to what you guys do - " though we travel the world over to find the beautiful we must carry it with us or we find it not " be safe take care XxX
Finally the new intro!!!!
Change to 6 years on the water, rather than 5!
‘We’ve recently found ourselves with a runaway’ 🦆🏃🏼
Nice to see Elayna get some girl time with Bri. This was a really great and beautiful episode.
I loved bri from years ago on below deck. It’s so interesting to see her come full circle back into my life in another way. She was always inspiring to me back then and even more today. I love seeing her travel with you all. Love the new intro
Omg I just realised she was on below deck...that’s awesome
Ah ha! I KNEW she looked familiar.
So lovely to see Elayna having fun and with a woman/companion on board! think she really needed it! xx
No matter my circumstances, Lenny always brings a smile!!!❤️
Great episode. I never realized how beautiful the azores are. Definitely a bucket list destination.
I'm amazed how u guys always seem to have useful friends who can help or guide when u find urself in a spot of bother. I think its a sign that Riley and Elayna are just good people so people tend to want to help them
Your baby looks like a little reincarnation of Steve Irwin.
if you've ever watch a series of unfortunate events, he looks like the littlest elf. So cute
Tryyyyy to encourage him to sail or something, just steer him away from crazy dangerous animals.........especially stingrays🥴
Love the new intro ☺️👌🏻
The best thing about having Lenny with you guys is to enjoy seeing things through his eyes and his mischievous side, blooming right in front of our eyes! GREAT episode! I think it been a bit since we've seen a genuinely proper smile and light hearted happiness from you both.😉👍👍

allycatphae I agree. What a great laugh so genuine. Great video. Love y’all and happy birthday to you both.
Which episode does that shot come from?
Lenny is delightful. A lovely family. Continue to see the world with new eyes.
I love the Azores it's so beautiful and magical can't wait to go back. It's a wonderful place to relax and refresh it's amazing.
My causing from Bermuda! Love your comment 100℅ agree
I LOVED THIS ONE SO MUCH!
Bri has been such a blessing!
You all have needed this Azore experience to reboot!
I keep repeating myself after each episode, but the cinematography is just crazy good. The clarity of the shots, the waterfalls, the vegetation, OK, the deer too.... Thank you for taking us on your journeys....
Love how good of a mood you can see Elayna is in throughout the video :))
LOVE the new intro! Time to buy a "summer home" on the Azores and turn it into an Airbnb for your subs. 😂
Duckletics - the most fun sport for young sailors. Watching Your joy amidst this beautiful landscape is such a happy sight. Just Thank You for enriching my life!

It was truly amazing what this lady did for me. Great vid , Azores were all ready on my bucket list. Just have to get rid of this nasty pandemic first.
nice to see Lenny has stopped being a stowaway. Keep up the good work
Truly 😍👌🏿
the girls rap - doesn't get cuter ✨✨✨ - speaks volumes about how much happiness the Azores have brought to the crew 🤩
Oh Lenny’s little outfit. The striped long sleeve top. I can’t 😭😇💕
Love the changes to the opening. Bri has turned out to be a nice addition to the crew. You made me laugh today. Thanks.
Riley and Elayna, your videos make it easier for us to survive being landlocked! We love your escapades and seeing how you're making the best of life. We really miss sailing, and you help us keep our dream alive. We spent a while in the Azores, and there's no lovelier place! And we enjoy seeing Lenny being so cute! lenny is like ..." holy shit ,there's ice cream on land....I'm out
haha, "more"
😂😂😂👍🏼
14:47 Lenny throwing his mom's Shoes 👞 in the water.💧 🤣🤣
😆 Funniest comment from Riley, "I don't get blown away like this, I'm just a jaded old traveller." Your *strike* was worth it Elayna! 💝
That sentence really caught my attention as well. If these guys are amazed by the landscape ... you know it must be amazing because they have been to some really amazing spots
I don’t care...just relax & enjoy yourselves & we’ll watch whatever you post. Feel better, Riley...have fun...don’t work so hard!
Is it just me or is Riley’s looking like a John Lennon with those glasses? (BTW Seeing him getting a massage while sailing in paradise definitely brings to mind the saying “living the life of Riley”).
Omg.I was about to say the same thing.John Lennon look a like for sure!
dwayners13 no more like Jonny Deep !
He even sounds a little like John Lennon.
Ozzy Osborne
I haven't caught up with your videos for a bit now, and I didn't think it had been that long until I saw how big Lenny has gotten! Last time I watched, he was just starting to pull himself up on things and stand and now he's WALKING. He's so big I wanna cry!!! This place looks magical. I hope that I get to go there one day.
Thanks again for another great video :)

How good for both/all three/all four of you to enjoy this wonderful time in your lives and let us who can't make it there and never will in some cases. What fun it looks like.
Elayna, so glad you kept the dirty cackle in the intro! Makes me smile every time. Wonderful episode as always guys ❤️
Cheers!
Azores - the place of my birth: "As Ilhas de Bruma" (The Misty Isles). Hope you make it Faial and Pico!

I’ve been waiting for that intro to change! Haha this has to be one of my favourite videos so far ❤️ what a gorgeous place
Loving how happy you look as a couple, as parents, as people ♥️
Elayna and Bri at the end! 😂
I have been watching for years. This video. Is the only one I have commented on. Its my favorite. Maybe this virus is what y'all needed. I hope there is another video next week. Y'all are one of the few things I look forword to.

The new intro is perfect 😭😭
I also just realised your intro is the only intro I never skip past 🥰
This video made my day!!! So gorgeous and peaceful; I cannot wait to visit the Azores one day.
I swear I wish these episodes would never end 😩🤍
G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S!
Loved the plush scenery and waterfalls. You ladies rapping was a real treat! Lenny, of course, is a charmer ~ 💜
Looks like some of our New Zealand scenery. Amazing !
I am a Orthopedic back physio for 30 years. I have a doctorate from Harvard and watch your channel for years.
Please listen and ask any questions.
I had no clue this island was that cool, I figured it was all down south. crazy
It's really beautifl
You guys are the best TH-cam chanel in the world seriously. I hope you never stop making these kind of videos. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!
Haven’t watched in a few months because I recently joined the military so I was away from electronics for a while and wow this episode was amazing felt like a little vacation into my phone ( I’m in the barracks right now)
Ditto young man. America thanks YOU for your Service!!🇺🇸
May God bless you and keep you safe. Thank you for keeping us safe.
I won't be alone in thinking the change is noticeable, in a really good way.
Thanks for sharing. Hugs to Lenny, he's growing up sooo quick. Xx
Really good episode, Lenny chasing ducks was the best! 😄
Love the new intro. Lenny is so beautiful. A very handsome young little tiny man.
Elayna and Bre rapping Brett Eldredge absolutely made my night
If you want a break then have one you deserve it. Enjoy your life, we will miss you but we will be here when you get back.
I was dying laughing at the jam session. Loved it.
Fantastic video guys. Thank you very much for sharing. Enjoy your time in the Azores. Clear Skies!!!
I love the new intro! Feel better Riley.
At last you have re - calculated the time at sea. I have been following you for EVER,
and I’m sure it’s more than 6 years that your adventures have been entertaining us all.
Here’s to the next 6 !!
You're out there in this beautiful environment and I'm here sitting at home like 18:09
Here I am stuck in an office every single day and yet it feels like I am travelling the world with you guys at the same time! The videos keep getting better and better and it's so good to see you guys appreciating life and each other! Keep it up x
