    You need to visit the north (Tanger, Al Hoceima and Nador)!! Very beautiful cities and an amazing landscape. You can drive it by a car, which is the best option. And: there you can find the best fish! ;)

    most times when you're sick it's not from the food, it's from touching money, doors, hand rails on public transport and then touching your mouth. Money is the carrier of all things nasty...look after each other. these are the memories.

    • @OnePackWanderers
      @OnePackWanderers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Indeed. We've made it a habit to desensitize our hands before eating. I think anytime someone eats foreign food in a foreign land, stomach issues are bound to come up. It's a small price to pay though 🙂

    Number 1 tip for travel and food poisoning. Carry activated charcoal with you, which basically scoops anything from your gut out. And also carry a probiotic with you to injest.
    Unfortunate but the charcoal scoops out the good and bad bacteria. Can't remember which travel channel this was on. But I noted it. Particularly for travel to third world countries.

    I was in Morocco a couple of weeks ago and i also food poisoning!! I was knocked out for 2 days. Didn't feel great at all. I was put off the food after that because i didn't want to get sick again

    • @OnePackWanderers
      @OnePackWanderers  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ha, small world! Not going to lie, we cooked a lot more of our own meals after that, just to be safe. Being sick is never fun but it's extra not fun when traveling.

      @@OnePackWanderers One rule I use for myself wherever I travel: " Always carry with me these 4 medicines: Imodium for diarrhea, Bengay cream for soaring or stiff muscles, Aspirin for a headache or pain killer, and Sudafed PE (ex Actifed) for fever or running nose...and some First Aid like Band-Aid, some pieces of cotton, and 50 ml alcohol ). They all weigh less than 500 g or 1 lbs. They can only help me or someone in need.
      Enjoy the rest of your trip! Have fun and stay safe! Cheers,

      @@mmans8191 This is really excellent advice. We carry a lot of these things too, after getting sick. You never think it will happen to you! But when it does, it’s nice to have some basic stuff like that.

      Hello! If you like a calmer experience in Morocco, we'd definitely recommend the Rabat area.
      The beach house we stayed in was actually just North of Salé (a city adjacent to Rabat), in a development called 'Plage des Nations.' It was a nice Airbnb with a very nice view.

    at least in Morocco the pharmacies are quite handy, no fuss or prescription needed if nothing severe, imagine having food poisoning in Ireland, pharmacy staff are quite fussy here, and they cure everything with 7UP and vinaigre, stay healthy
