I was just in Marakesch Tanger and Rabat. Loved loved loved Rabat it's current ancient and futuristic architecture is amazing!! Rabat is like a hidden gem wrapped into a fantasy / fairy tale. I am a NYC born US expat leaving in Germany so its easy for me to get back next month (despite the COVID restrictions from the Moroccan side). Keep up the good work..love you guys's pleasent energy..refreshing and light.
How was Tangier? We really wanted to go, but ran out of time. Agree, Rabat was probably our favorite of the Moroccan cities we visited. You never hear it discussed when Morocco is brought up, but it's really a great city. Where are you going to when you return to Morocco?
You are totally right, I live in Casablanca but I still prefer Rabat to it and even to Marrakech.. Tangier became so nice too lately.. And I don't know if you visited Tetuan a Moroccan andalusian City not far from Tangier.. Each city in Morocco has its old Medina thag the Ministery of Culture is trying to restore as they are so ancient... Hopefully fes and Meknes get their monuments restored they are among the most ancient cities in the world with Marrakech
If you want to see a finished Hassan tower but although abit smaller than what they wanted the one in rabat to be, look at the La Giralda in Sevilla, they were built by the same dynasty just few years apart, as Seville was one of the capitals of Morocco (for centuries Morocco always had 2 capitals one in Iberia and one in Africa and Seville was one of these capitals )
Kouroubia minaret is also from The same architect during Almohad dynasty. I recommend also the madrasa of Salé which is known to be built just before the Alhambra of Granada and contains many similar rooms
Yay, Morocco gonna miss u guys, gonna miss ur smiley Hope to see very soon, the north part of morocco is jealous now, 'tangier - tetouan - chefchaouen' are so sad for not seeing u around. ;) Welcome any time, feel Home. Regards.
Thank you very much! We need to come back to Morocco with more time. We visited for almost a whole month, but missed so much because we spent about half that time being sick. Next time, we will definitely focus on the places to mentioned 😊
Glad to see more americans are visiting Morocco. When I first moved to California very few knew where morocco is. Lol now everyone know a thing or two about morocco. Even moroccan tea (statbucks) and moroccsns food (wholefoods) is a thing. We came a long way I see. I just hope they visit and not plan on retiring there like many Europeans do lol.
It seems your country it improving very quickly, from what a few Moroccans have told us. Beautiful place, and I can't wait to go back. Out of curiosity, why don't you like seeing Europeans and Americans retiring there?

Yes, we will visit again! There is soooo much history and culture in your country. We want to stay in smaller villages next time and see more of the countryside.
Thanks for recommending my beautiful hometown. It is a heartwarming even though I left it for over 20 years, but I really really love it and I am proud of the Rabati people and everyone who lives in Rabat and is making it such a beautiful place to live in.

@Soren Kierkegaard Generally we try not to give too much travel advice, because we don't know most of these places very well. If you'd like to message us on Instagram, though, we'd be happy to tell you what we know!
Oh yeah.. Probiotics Probiotics Probiotics. I start taking them a few days before a trip. I can get jelly belly travelling NYC to Germany and I swear by probiotics a week before adventure eating!! Also I do pepto bismol or any thing with bismuth as a prophylactic BEFORE my tummy gets sick that works wonders for me ..(but maybe you guys do that already).
Ok, before travel talk lets do some girls talk here 😁, what is the brand of your sandals at 5 minutes and 15 seconds of the video...LOVE THEM!!!!! Are they as comfy as they are cute? Now about the video and the vloggers, I found you guys recently and absolutely love you videos and you guys personality are just so sweet. I'm taking tons of notes since in flying to Morocco in 2 weeks. Thank you so much for such great course of info, great videos 👍
Hey! Those sandals are from a company called Luna. They’re about the same comfort level as flip flops but way tougher 🙂 Have so much fun in Morocco!! What part are you going to? 😊
Really as Moroccan I am wondering what tourists or foreigners like in Morocco ! It is my country I love it but it is completely backward “ the sad reality”
I think when things stabilize in the future there will be fewer hustlers and scammers. We found the vast majority of Moroccans to be really nice people.

Very interesting. I'd never guess that it would be found in Spain. If ever we find ourselves in Seville, we will visit it.
That's right 👌
Indeed the Almohads dynasty had capitals in Al Andalus (Iberia part) and Marrakech in Morocco for North Africa !
