So he‘s called something like „Carpetman“ but in ukrainian 😁 Such carpet is a very common thing in many ukrainian houses. They lay on the floor, they hang on walls… all over the house… So it‘s kind of a humor)

Fun fact: Before this performance the Kylym-Man said "I'm a carpet and I'm flying" and the front man continued and said that they're goind to fly to Turin on him (just like Aladdin :D)
'Stefania' is about the dear person we call Mother
For me, the winner of the audience vote is the real winner. This song has so much depth. At first glance, the main singer dedicated it to his mother, Stephania, apologizes for his actions, and asks to sing a lullaby as she did in childhood. And before the chorus, the boys sing luli luli - the beginning of the traditional Ukrainian lullaby. But if you dig deeper, you can see the image of the homeland because Ukrainians often call their country "Nanny". I don't care what place this song will take, the main thing is that the dedication to mothers will be heard all over Europe.

Actually Alina Pash didn't refuse to participate in Eurovision. She said all these things like "I don't want to be involved in politics" AFTER official Eurovision organisators and administration said that she's going to be dismissed. And she just managed to announce it first :)

You, guys, just don‘t understand. It‘s not banned to visit Crimea in general. It‘s banned to enter Crimea FROM RUSSIA (as you probably know, Russia provides her war aggression on Ukrainian territories for already 8 years. They annexed Crimea, they kill our people in Donbass for many years)
She could travel to Crimea easily through Kherson border, and that would be legal, but she chose not to🤷🏻♀️
I’m from Ukraine and I’m totally agree with Alina’s disqualification! Although I also liked her performance much, there are several reasons why she should not represent our country on EV. Here’s some of them:
1. The votings and all the directing of competition was corrupt in favor of Alina
2. She violated the rules of participation in the competition (she was traveling to Crimea through the russian border in 2015)
3. She broke the law of Ukraine by providing a forged document. And once again she was traveling to Crimea through the russian border in 2015
These were official reasons, and there also were personal reasons:
1. She was rude in public to journalists and to Kalush Orchestra
2. She lied many times on interviews. And she was got caught in her lies.
Nobody likes liars and nobody wants a lier to represent his country on international events
So Kalush are just super! I hope they will take part in EV competition and European people like them as much as they liked Go_A

Just want to put it here for those who are curious. No, it is not a crime to have relatives in Crimea, but if you want to visit the peninsula, you should do it properly, by crossing the border from the Ukrainian side. She went there from Russia, so she crossed the internationally recognized border without informing Ukrainian authorities. De jure the border was crossed even if Russia thinks it wasn't.

Alina Pash has forged a government issued document. That’s against the law in most countries. In many countries it’s even a jail time. I loved her song and was so happy she won. But her morals and values made me change my mind about this entire thing.

I think it would be cool if you guys could reacts to another contestant of Vidbyr: Roxolana - Girlzzzz. It was my personal favorite of them all :) She's cute, she's got the moves, a catchy song, a rap part, an amazing ethnic break. I think you would enjoy it. Unfortunately her vocals weren't the best that night and she's got low scores, but what can one do :)
Guys, there was no man with a black face on stage :). He was dressed in a special suit with an ornament in the style of a Ukrainian traditional carpet (the carpet on the housing wall served as decoration in the past). This costume resembles a tattoo. This is his stage image. And his stage pseudonym - Kylymmen, it translates into English as a "carpet man."
Kylymmen is a collective image of Ukrainian hip-hop with the post-Soviet past, a new Ukrainian superhero :). He dances Break, Hip-Hop and Hopak (Ukrainian traditional dance), DJs, reads rap and sings.
That glamorous woman was actually singer's mom Stefania, to whom the song is dedicated :)

They're most likely to be confirmed, but their participation is not official yet. There was no announcement from the broadcaster, no official confirmation, nothing. And ESC's website is also still states that ukranian participant is "To be announced ".
Hi guys, I loved Joy presence in your video, he is so cute, he looks a teddy bear, I feel like I want to hug him. About the song: I loved Alina song since the beginning and I am really sorry for what happened. Alina song, with the present Ukrainian situation, had a winner look. It was so emotional but when I heard that song, I felt it so much also because of their political situation, it looks somehow related to it. This song, "Stefania" , is totally non political, and it is still really cool like Ukrainian kind of cool, that is really really cool to me. I think that this song has got more Go_a eritage, moreover among the Kalush Orchestra ther'is Ihor from go_a. The staging was sublime and the song grows time by time. It became cooler every time I listen to it.

When I first heard "Stefania" I knew I heard the song before especially the chorus. Then I realized of course TikTok. I just read that despite the war they are still going to perform either by pre recorded video or ,if its over, in Turin. Either way thats going to be a wonderful thing for Ukraine and Europe.

Having family in Criema isn't a crime :) I'm from there, although I live in Kyiv, I've been to Crimea a few times in the past 8 years, but I had to take 16h bus rides there and get there through legal checkpoints. Aperantly, Alina didn't want this inconvenience and decided to fly through Moscow- breaking the Ukrainian law. For me that speaks to her character. It's not like she didn't have a choice and she went there illegally. She just didn't want to be bothered with a long car/bus journey.
