Thank you so much for this video and the written instructions on the web. Because of my inexperience with Windows and general inexperience with more technical computer work, I was unable to successfully download and run Stable Diffusion, I now understand why people pay $8 a month for Midjourney. Thanks again for all your work.

Thanks for the kind words. There are some one-click installers out there you can try. Midjourney has the best results, but I don't like using the Discord interface. Hopefully you can get SD working, you need a 4GB Nvidia graphic card.

@@matthallett4126 it took me three times to successfully join Discord. I still couldn’t tell you how to get around it. It’s a new world…the easy things come later.

Hey Mathew, I've watched so many vids now, and followed so many youtube instructions including yours now but cannot for the life of me get the install. It seems to not be able to install torch and therefore I cannot get to the URL return. What could I be doing wrong?

Some back end dependencies are not installing for some reason, like torch. Make sure Python is installed correctly and very important its in your system environment path. You can test this by opening a CMD window and typing PYTHON that will load python in CMD window and you'll see >>> instead of your directory.
You can install everything you need using the PIP command in command window (doesn't have to be Python) so if you're missing torch, google "install torch" and a website will you exactly what command you need to copy and paste to load torch. I once had trouble with my CUDA developer package and torch, which I fixed by uninstalling everything related to Python and Nvidia CUDA. Maybe its your graphic card not being compatible? is it AMD? Any errors you get that say "can't find" then try to install that package using PIP that's all I can think of now, good luck, you can find me on facebook Matt Hallett Visual and message me there and send me a screen shot.

I replied to this but maybe the link I added prevented it.
AMD doesn't work officially, but there are work around I found on Reddit.
