Have really missed these videos. I know you’re a busy man with lotsa responsibilities so I know it’s always worth the wait. A magical piece of heaven you’ve created.
Wow! That opening sequence.....very creative. You taking it to a new level there my Friend. Its just so compelling to watch your creative processes. Do you ever get tired of hearing How Beautiful the Cabin Is? Well let me say it again. Beautiful...Stunning. Peaceful, all nestled into the trees, blending into the backdrop like it was always there.Dare I say Magical...Like Brigadoon. ASMR Everything. Thanks for sharing! Cheers.
The Home Depot is not gonna like it. 😂 But, seriously, another great video. Thank you so much for this peaceful content. You are now tied with Living the Van Life for favorite youtube creators.
The backwoods around you looks familiar. I'm a born and raised over 300 years of heritage tennessean. I believe I know where you're located. I ride and walk those woods alot.
down the road I recommend you lay down cork floors. Its naturally antimicrobial and water resistant and needs basically the same maintenance as normal wood floor. Since its such a small space it shouldn't be cost prohibitive and it will really help with spills when swapping buckets
You may find a single bucket for both the email and faxes could prove becomming a smelly mess to deal with. I have a bucket toilet in my campervan for years now and it is great since mine has a seperating feature for said means of communication. In your case the emails can be [lumbed outside into a soak away a couple of yards away (and possibly down slope), the faxes can be delt with using a composting heap setup in the same geral area. In any case, you may be able to find a urine seperating toilet insert... they look and act just like a regular water flushing toilet bowl... Separette has a very affordable one in black and white..
@@TheOffGridExperience yeah - I’m good with the cheap plastic white one for $9.99. I enjoy your channel. Building our own place since 2020. It’s hard as a one man band…
Trying to figure out why you used a skillsaw to cut the hole like a pizza before you used the Sawzall? Just drill a small hole just like when you use a jigsaw and then you can complete your circle easily and clean!
@@TheOffGridExperience thanks for getting back to me nexts spring i like to start on a little river cabin on Stilts around 12ft off the ground need something to stay in on weekends when there.
I love your work and the cabin, but having the commode be just a bucket will be emergency use at best - too smelly and messy for anything else. There are so many options available that bag off the waste with each use and so on, wondering if those would be more practical.
That steak was making my mouth water. Looked incredible.
Boyyyy do I love to watch your videos.. You’ve created an off grid CHARMING AWESOME little cabin .. ❤ Love from Québec
Thank you very much!
You are very close to nature. I love it
Amazing
Thanks

Great build ....I love your cabin.
Thank you 👍
THE NARRATION WAS OUTSTANDING.
I agree 👍
Renaissance man👌😎
Haha...thanks.
Loved the intro 💛
Thanks 👍 It's kind of a tribute to some of the old pioneers.
The backwoods around you looks familiar. I'm a born and raised over 300 years of heritage tennessean. I believe I know where you're located. I ride and walk those woods alot.
Haha...these woods aren't easily accessible but you never know! Thanks for watching 👍
Beautiful cabin
Thanks 👍
Looking good !!
Thanks 👍
With ax throwing skills like that, intruders beware. Good arm workout too. Will be great to see shower come together.
Haha...it's pretty fun. Took me a few throws to get the hang of it.
Looking forward to the next video right now man keep them coming
More to come!
Wow love watching you work. Love the cabin. Dinner looked really good too.
Awesome stuff! Watching from Spring Hill, TN. Hoping to start my project next spring!
Thanks. I’m not too far from there. Nice area!
Very nice. Great video as always. Thank you for sharing. Regards, Randy in Arizona
Thanks Randy! Glad you liked it 👍
Amazing job man. What's next project?
Thanks. Stone floor and shower is next.
My favorite cabin. Loved the wildlife. I couldn't find his name because I'm not good with computers. Could you let me know. I'm in the Carolinas
Wow, that "Whiskey River" brand likely got its name from a lyric in one of my favorite songs by 'The Head and the Heart'. Cool.
You should ask them!! They seem like a good outfit.
Love your videoes😊
Admire your beautiful & peaceful life 😮regards from Tokyo 😊
Thank you! 😃
Nice having a bathroom in the cabin and not a outhouse outside..😁
You got that right! Especially in the winter 👍
Looking awesome. Coming together nicely. Love your videos. So relaxing. I check daily to see if you have a new video
Wish I could do a video every week. Maybe some day!
@@TheOffGridExperience you will get there. Hang in there buddy
As always, keen eye, meticulous work, great to see the progress of your channel and your cabin. Subscriber 13 from Ontario, Canada. :)

Greetings from Pittsburgh. I see your Steelers chair.
Looking forward to this Sunday!!
I was wondering where you were at because you haven’t posted in a bit
❤😊❤😊❤😊
I certainly hope that you will enjoy your cabin in the woods. One hell of a build.
What will become of the tent cabin after everything is done? 👍
Thanks! The tent will be used by friends and family whenever they want to camp out.
down the road I recommend you lay down cork floors. Its naturally antimicrobial and water resistant and needs basically the same maintenance as normal wood floor. Since its such a small space it shouldn't be cost prohibitive and it will really help with spills when swapping buckets
Love your work, but please either invest or make a work bench

HELLO , c'est du beau travail ⚒ ⚒ 😊
Nice - I’ll buy the $10 toilet seat though 16:06
Haha...the wooden seat was about $29
@@TheOffGridExperience yeah - I’m good with the cheap plastic white one for $9.99. I enjoy your channel. Building our own place since 2020. It’s hard as a one man band…
@18:38 Would have been nice to have a door outside of the cabin, so I don’t have to walk through the house with my “present” 🎁 😅
Love your videos but I still can't believe you don't use an impact driver
Oh man! that floor was unexpected but will a great touch to the bathroom! Would you ever consider a small septic tank? Would have too dig down--ugh!
I will be installing a small one. Maybe in next video.
What are you wearing on your lower legs? Gators? For snake bite prevention?
Just high muck boots. Still snake season here.
Trying to figure out why you used a skillsaw to cut the hole like a pizza before you used the Sawzall? Just drill a small hole just like when you use a jigsaw and then you can complete your circle easily and clean!
This was great but I don't understand why you are staying in a wall tent when you could stay in the cabin ?
Wall tent is used to relax by the creek.
Im from Tennessee born and raised and i was wondering how much the land costed?
Thanks for watching 👍
@TheOffGridExperience how much did the land cost im looking to buy some and wanna know about how much I should save up to get started
Such a awesome cabin . Your hard work payed off on it . What kind of wall tent u got . And do u like it .and how it do in the rain
Thanks! I got it from walltentshop.com. I've had it up for 2 years with no issues.
@@TheOffGridExperience thanks for getting back to me nexts spring i like to start on a little river cabin on Stilts around 12ft off the ground need something to stay in on weekends when there.
love ur videos. is this a great away cabin or someone permanently gonna live there
Thanks 👍 Not a permanent residence.
I love your work and the cabin, but having the commode be just a bucket will be emergency use at best - too smelly and messy for anything else. There are so many options available that bag off the waste with each use and so on, wondering if those would be more practical.
Thanks. I think the bucket with compost bag and sawdust will be sufficient for this particular cabin. If it was a full time residence, I’d reconsider.
@@TheOffGridExperience ah OK, you do beautiful work, so impressive
How does the metal on the bathroom roof stay watertight?
Not sure I understand the question?
So what’s the original dimensions without additions? 16x20?
12x16
Why a bucket and not a composting toilet?
Pretty much the same thing....just $1000 less.
No vent for the toilet bucket???? it's a small space.... could be an oversight you might regret later. hopefully can still retrofit it if needs be.
I'm pretty sure the window directly above the toilet will be sufficient ventilation.
Sawdust toilet?
Yes, compostable bag with sawdust.
2 words: Home Depot
Thanks for watching 👍
only toilet bowl i dont like it 😂😂😂😂
Ya thats gunna stink bad!
Had to stop watching. More cooking then building
Thanks for watching
With your skills, why don't you have an outside workbench or saw horses built?
