I needed to replace my rear tire and check the bearings and came upon this gem of a video. Thanks for posting such clear instructions to get it all done.
Nice Job! No BS. Straight forward, no yammering get it done and correctly. I'm a visual learner and this was awesome. It's a great reference for those who have never or are intimidated by working on things mechanical. You can always learn by watching others, good and bad.
Amazing!! Who would have thought you had to remove the exhaust to change a wheel!!!!? The days of my old Lambretta was one nut!! Wheel removed! Front was the "difficult" one.
Hey man, I just used this video to learn how to do this on my PCX 150! Thank you so much for such a detailed and well edited video, it made it soooo much easier! I just wanted to point out there's another spacer on the outside of the swing arm. In your video it stays attached to the swing arm when you pull it off and it's still there when you put it back. There's a kind of rubber seal under it that holds it in place, but while I was wiping down excess grease and road grime from my swing arm mine fell out. I'm glad I noticed it on the ground when I was putting my tools away. Had to remove the exhaust again to get it back on but now I can do that part really quickly, lol Anyway, you might want to add a note or something about that spacer, and that it has the potential to fall out. If it does you just put it back, but you have to know it's there to put it back, heheh.
Two things: The ambient sounds in your video makes me want to go play Far Cry 2 again. And I love the little animated effect of your torque wrench's clicks. Excellent, informative video. Thanks for making and uploading.
just bought a 2018 pcx 125, your videos have been really helpful I think I can do most of the work now but will leave the valves to the garage to check. excellent content that is much easier to follow than any book, thanks!
Outstanding video. Got roped into fixing a rear tire on one of these and this saved my bacon! Note: I only took out the right side fender bolt and it gave me enough room. Also I didn’t tighten the rear brake adjustment just did the strap on the hand control. Thank you sir!
Hey Mitch. Thanks to your video, I successfully changed my rear tire. One note: on my 2021 PCX in USA, there is an O2 sensor attached to the exhaust. I just left it connected, and there was enough slack to just move exhaust out of the way for othe other steps. Thank you!
Excellent video Mitch! I didn't know you were still doing scooter videos. I cannot tell you how much your videos helped me when I was wrenching on my MP3.
Nice video. Can you make a tutorial video about cvt removal and installation of this scooter? As well as the torque drive. I also want to know the torque specs of each nut of pulleys and torque drive. Thank you
One the was high quality video I ever seen on this thematic. I can feel and how hard you try to make this fantastic (blue circles, x2-x5 vide) amazing.
after that, i noticed that the lever has a free play, enought to make the back light switch stay open even if i release the rear brake. Any suggestions? Thanks. Great video- edit info btw!
Hey man, the video is great! I just have one question. Whenever I tighten the rear wheel nut, the whole wheel becomes very difficult to spin. When it is tightened to the max at 118N*m it doesn’t spin at all and it seems to scrape against the axle. Any fix for this? We just put in a new spacer and it is installed correctly…
@@MitchsScooterStuff Yeah, I'm not quite sure what it is... Nothing seems to scrape against it physically but the wheel is definitely resisting. If you loosen the nut on the axle it works fine, but tightening it with a torque wrench makes it really stiff. The spacer is installed as in the video, everything is done as you have done it, but it still won't budge. Driving it is fine, and I'm suspecting that this is how the previous owner rode it as the axle was completely worn down when we bought it. I'm not sure what's causing it specifically. Thanks for the reply though! If you come up with more ideas let me know.

easy to follow instructions thanks for the video. the plane that was flying by was a Qantas jet, it was coming back to Australia. when are you coming down under for holiday ?
sorry to ask, is the front collar wheel side has the same length? right and left collar.. please i need to know. thank you so much.. i lost the right side collar.
I have PCX 2014. And now I have a problem with START/STOP. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it does not. Do you know a reason why? Where to look? Maybe there is a simple solution to my problem? Some people said about battery being low, but it is fully charged, some people said about fuel quality, but it different Spanish petrol stations but still no changes. What could be the problem?
Hmm sounds like the switch button got dirty inside, open up the switch to check… sometimes the contacts get dirty, I have some videos on my channel how to clean the switches, that would give you idea what it looks like
Hi. Pcx 125 and pcx 150 are same wheel? And i have a pcx 125 here in philippines. My problem is they dont have stock accessories. My motorcycle import in other country. So its hard to look accessories
Great video, my garage charged me an hours labour removing and changing a rear tire on my pcx , how long does it take really, your video was 12 minutes long 🤔
2 new tires where to be mounted, I told that it will be one at the time, I will give only the wheels ( those guys are not mechanics ) but family Thai knew better, took the PCX came it came back 5 hours later! One of the nut is missing at the exhaust at the head, not only missing the stud is broken now level with the exhaust ( due to excess tightening ) Hopefully the parts exist, I am not the first one here...
