Lars Jr? If so, I was at Pilot Pastures when we lost Lars Sr. I remember helping when his starter on the T-6 was slipping.

I've been in the one out in Rhinebeck awesome plane oldest plane I've flown in i believe it's a 1927 standard not the prettiest biplane but still cool.

Yeah the New Standard Really doesn't have the beautiful lines of a lot of other biplanes. But I think its a pretty special airplane because of the part it has played and continues to play in keeping aviation history alive, and tangible for new generations.
