Ep8 A Roadtrip: collecting rare vintage aircraft to bring back to the WAAAM.

Back in April Lars got the chance to check off a life long goal (that he had only had for 6 months) to go visit one of the best private collections of golden age aircraft on the west coast. and with several other Museum crew members help bring back to hood river 2 Very special vintage aircraft. as well as getting to see with a couple other surprises.

I would love an opportunity to do so. The WAAAM is very open to the ide of taking aircraft to various airshows. The biggest hurdle seems to be getting invited/sponsored to pay for the fuel and insurance to do so.

Ole Fahlin prop. My wet dream is that some day somewhere in front of the plane like that TM. someone would go. "Look at this prop think that someone has made this by simple tools" and I would go.Yes gimme a Week and I make one I have made a fifty props.

yeah, I've watched that clip countless times now, and keep coming back for more. I have a couple other cool clips that aren't as well shot I am hoping to figure out how to use in the future. I had a bit of fun trying to capture that slow-mo hand start, some of which are..... not graceful.
