    the Law was NOT ABOLISHED. It was ESTABLISHED.
    established
    [.] ESTAB'LISHED, pp. Set; fixed firmly; founded; ordained; enacted; ratified; confirmed.
    Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
    Romans 3:29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
    Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

    Coming out of Babylon is like leaving a bad relationship. It takes a few tries sometimes.
    I have been in several abusive, narcissistic relationships, and the psyche of leaving is extremely similar. To identify the seemingly passive control requires some soul searching and help from someone not caught in the lie and patterns. There is usually a bold moment of courage, but a long road of leaving. Babylon is like these types of relationships.

      It's interesting that you mentioned that. I saw a video on YT talking about how the Bible is full of examples of the good people vs. the bad, who are Narcissists. She even cited and showed in The Bible what she was talking about as some support for that. I have been doing some research on that personality type, and Antisocial Personality. The cluster b personality disorders.

    I had much peace as an obedient follower of Yeshua. Then my mother died and my sister has done much evil against me. I am walking through this trial and try to concentrate on keeping His commands. Let mankind do what they will. I tried for many years to speak to her about Yeshua but she only lied and said she understood and believed. Then she turned around and accused me of horrible things after my mother passed. Praise Yehovah for His plan and Yeshua for being Messiah!

    Galatians 2 11But when Peter came to Antioch, I resisted him to his face, because he stood condemned. 12For before some people came from James, he ate with the Gentiles. But when they came, he drew back and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision. 13And the rest of the Jews joined him in his hypocrisy; so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy. 14But when I saw that they didn't walk uprightly according to the truth of the Good News, I said to Peter before them all, "If you, being a Jew, live as the Gentiles do, and not as the Jews do, why do you compel the Gentiles to live as the Jews do?
    15"We, being Jews by nature, and not Gentile sinners, 16yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law. 17But if, while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a servant of sin? Certainly not! 18For if I build up again those things which I destroyed, I prove myself a law-breaker. 19For I, through the law, died to the law, that I might live to God. 20I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me. 21I don't make void the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!"

    "DOING"?, as you asked, what is it? It is being led by the Spirit of God. Hearing and obeying the VOICE of the Lord. Being led. That is true righteousness just as Jesus the Son of God the Christ has shown. Jesus did not DO His own will but the will of His Father. He abided in intimacy through prayer. And, that is Jesus. He was one with the Father in unity. The same is true for true followers of Jesus today. We have to walk with Him. Come unto Him, follow Him, learn from Him, pick up our cross, and deny ourself. That is the way of righteousness by faith, hearing and yielding to the power of the Holy Spirit to walk in the works He has ordained for us to walk in. But as for a law? The Law of Christ is to do just that. Hear and obey. Yield and comply by grace through faith.

      Peter explains his own vision in verse 28 so we don't have to guess. He says it was about men--not food. He even recounts the entire thing in Acts 11. And let's say "Jesus" did cancel the food laws. Then Peter saying he had not eaten anything unclean would have been irrelevant.

    The New Covenant Fellowship John 14:15-27 fruit is produced by abiding in Christ (John 15:1-2) To ignore His spirit is to reject the minister of the New Covenant for the New Covenant is a ministration of the Holy Spirit 2 Cor 3:7-8 - We could also say that God the Holy Spirit is our minister in this New Covenant Fellowship (Jn 14:15-27, 2 Cor 3:7-8, Ro 8:2) - The Sabbath was a picture of the New Covenant - we cease from doing our works and take up the yoke of Jesus Christ keeping His commandments/Words/Sayings/Teachings.... Those who do not love Jesus Christ do not keep His commandments and therefore they are workers of iniquity. We will be judged according to our works which portray our Fellowship with and Love for God.... Jesus Christ, as the mediator of the New Covenant, payed the price for my and your sins by shedding His Blood. Our part in this New Covenant Fellowship is to keep the commandments of Jesus and do the will of our Father who is in Heaven but which is only possible by abiding in Christ and the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives. When we do His will, His name is being Sanctified in us. Yes, is (present tense) for when we abide in Him and bring forth fruit, our Father purges (prunes us) that we bring forth more fruit (obedience to Christ, Like Christ). The will of our Father is to hear His beloved Son in whom He is well pleased. Hear Him! Hear and keep His Words/Sayings and build your house upon the Rock. In the Old Testament, the Sabbath progressed from staying in the tent to .......??..... what did it progress to? Where is it today? It's the New Covenant. You're painting a picture of the Sabbath when you say we are to keep His Word and cease from doing our will and doing His will. Only possible how? By abiding in Christ (John 14, 15) For outside of Him, we can do nothing! We must enter into His rest. The Sabbath is not one day a week... It's every day. It's the New Covenant! Our God is One! To say the sabbath is one day a week is like saying drinking grape juice and eating bread is communion with God. Communion is abiding in Christ (John 14:15-27) In this Covenant we pray "Give us this day our daily bread" Jesus says "take eat, this is my body broken for you".,,,... In communion/fellowship we pray: "forgive us our sins as we forgive others (point: keeping His commandment)" Jesus says "Take, drink, this is my blood shed for the New Testament/Covenant for the remission of your sins". This is what qualifies us to have our prayers heard (John 14:13-15) by our Father in this New Covenant Fellowship.... The Blood of Jesus 1st and foremost and secondly our obedience. Yes, our obedience to Christ. This is why Paul said that if we didn't receive correction from our Father, we are (emphasis on are) fatherless children.... fatherless as in no Father and no prayers answered. But if we receive chastisement which leads us into righteousness (2 Cor 3:7-8) we have a Father! Notice that before we enter into this communion, we affirm our commitment, our part, in this New Covenant Fellowship... We signing the agreement and entering into Covenant! Before we enter into this communion, we pray "Thy Kingdom come thy will be done". Amen? What God's Will? Hmmmm? Right Here JOHN 14:15-27 (Keep His (Jesus) Commandments/Words/Sayings/Teaching) This is communion, this is Fellowship, this is the New Covenant, this is baptism! If our Gospel is hid, it's hid from them who are lost........ Be humble, be of low degree, be meek and enter into the Kingdom of God by Faith in Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of God is within you!

You speak foolishness and I think you are most likely a mocker and not even a saint. - the only person who said pig in this comment is you.

      Pm Marston Let's slow down a little bit..... I don't think you're trying to be harsh and neither am I.....You stated "He (Christ) came to clarify and make the meaning whole." So one question... Do you still offer animal sacrifices? Do you see that the lamb was symbolic and pointed to Christ. Please keep on topic, not trying to be rude, just trying to understand what you're saying and what you believe......

      Pm Marston
      I think the children of Israel broke their Covenant with God.... This is why Jesus did not keep the Sabbath and it's clearly stated in this passage.
      Verse 16 - Jesus healed on the Sabbath
      John 5:16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
      Verse 17 - Our Heavenly Father was working on the Sabbath day
      17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
      Verse 18 Jesus is clearly reported by John to have "broken the Sabbath"
      18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
      You have no legal legs to stand on! So instead of defending what you've been taught by man, why not ask God some questions? Not question Him, but ask Him some questions. Mary asked "How is this possible?" she got her answer and said "Yes Lord" and Jesus Christ was formed in her womb ..... Children ask questions. Heretics never do...
      Heretics claim to know it all and persecute those who know Him! Think about that...
      For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh (because of our fallen nature) God sending His own Son (the Sacrificial Lamb) in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin condemned sin in the flesh (our flesh) that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh (according to our sin nature in defeat) but after the Sprit. After the Spirit as in listening to our minister of the New Covenant Fellowship (2 Cor 3:7-8, Jn 14:15-27) and receiving and walking in God's righteousness. No, Jesus Christ did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it and enable us to rest from our works (there is none good, no not one) and to keep His Words!
      God doesn't want 10%, He wants 100% and I think that's pretty clear. he wants 100% because we have to lay down 100% of what is defiled to gain what is righteous and that is Christ... He who finds his life will loose it and he who looses his life for Christ's sake will find it.

    • @mwillis8090
      @mwillis8090 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pm Marston We're close... the Torah thing doesn't make sense.. especially since you've already stated it's impossible to keep certain parts of the Torah due to circumstances. I'm 100% with you on the fact we, in the flesh, are unable to keep the commandments of Jesus Christ but through Him, we can walk the narrow path (John 14:15-27, Romans 8:1-2). Amen! If you'll review my comments, I never told anyone not to "keep the sabbath"... I just see the Sabbath as a picture painted by God of the New Covenant Fellowship... Just the same as communion, passover etc..... I don't claim to have "all knowledge" on this subject.
      But again, which day of the week is really the Sabbath? We now have a pegan calendar. Will it sometimes fall on Saturday, most of the time, every once in a while? Or is this just another, as you mentioned earlier, a technically impossible thing to do? Not trying to be a smart elec, To me, this is a very valid question.
      I know a lot of people use this verse (2 Col 2:14-16) to argue against keeping the sabbath, but I have a serious question concerning it.. I would like to ask you a question regarding it. Not because I have the answer, but because I don't. It's a sincere question.
      Here's the verse: 2 Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
      15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
      16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
      When I look up the word Sabbath at biblehub.com, it says "sabbath , a week"
      Can you expound on that just a little for me.... Why does it say "a week"...
      Just to note, I'm not completely sold on this site and have in once case found something that should not have been there by using hard copies and other sources. I'm really just looking for you input.
      You might also take note, I haven't tried to use the most confusing argument of them all "we're not under the law".... the reason being, I understand what that means....... I can't stand it when people take that scripture out of context. I understand what it means because I understand, as I believe you do as well, that "walking in the Spirit" (Ro 8:2) is John 14:15-27 (the New Covenant Fellowship.) And basically that's where me and you come into agreement... at least by your definition of being able to keep the law through Christ and the Holy Spirit. Amen? At least for the most part. The main difference is you say Torah and I say "commandments of Jesus",,,, I know the Holy Spirit would never allow me to proceed in doing something that would go against the commandments/teachings/sayings/words of Christ without chastising me and correcting me. I also know my Savior would never break a commandment of our Heavenly Father.
      I don't feel it's necessary to "stay in my tent" from friday evening to saturday sundown... But I do believe it's necessary to spend time with God and hear His voice. If I'm wrong, He will correct me. If I seek Him, and I plan on doing just that.
      Another question: How did the children of Israel go from staying in their tents to going to a temple made with hands on the Sabbath? Isn't it interesting that Jesus said "destroy this temple" referring to His body and they confused it with a temple made with hands?
      alright.. Thank you for your last comment.... I believe it was sincere. I know I get on peoples nerves sometimes..... I do like to go on at times. God Bless.

    Paul, I like your ministry, however, let me point something out for you. In my field of geotechnical engineering, sand as a foundation can be in different states of compaction; loose, medium density, dense, and very dense. In loose to medium density (depending on its gradation) when water flows upward through it, it can cause a condition called "liquefaction". So in the scripture that talks about a house built on "sand" and on a rock, notice that it states that when the rain came and the wind came, the foundation failed. This may have caused the ground water on a hill to flow upward at a low point on the hill creating the liquifaction condition; so a building at that point on the hill would fail. Forgive me if I said something wrong.

      Hello friend all you have to do to be saved is believe in the Lord Jesus Christ that He is the Son of God and He lived a sinless life dying on the cross taking our punishment of death for us because we are sinners and the consequence of sin is death. After He died three days later He rose from the dead and is alive today in heaven and will be returning one day. Shalom and blessings 🙏💛

    May i ask you about sin and consequences? I am a Christian, but would fall into fornication from time to time. Didn't God ordain all that we do? Anyway, I was very successful and one year I lost all my investments. I am now poor and depressed. Did God punish me by taking away my financial success? I am interested in Torah. Maybe I am not a Christian. I also don't want to kill a lamb for Passover. Is that for today? Poor lamb. Plus i don't eat meat!

      Hey Mr. C. I just came across your post. How are you doing? Listen. Go to Jesus just as the desperate people in the gospels did. Humble yourself before Him and He will heal and cleanse you. Do what He said, Come unto Me. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me. My yoke is easy and My burden is light. You shall find rest for your soul. Glory in the cross of Jesus. Not the Law of Moses. Following Jesus is the Law of Christ. God will restore you. But having Jesus is to make you rich indeed.

    Great message brother. My message to you is that we have to repent of using that false pagan name of blasphemy, JC, because, in truth, "YAHUSHA" and "Jebus" are two separate identities. "YAHUSHA" cannot be JC because there is "ONLY ONE NAME, as you know." JC is the name which the Anti-Christ has prepared for himself to come in, and thus the great apostasy is far advanced and includes most professing Christians today. The enemy has deceived the whole world, especially Christians. "YAHUAH" promises that He will call His Children out from amongst Christians, as He did me, and out from amongst every other false, man-made religion, into His Kingdom, and that when we repent (Teshuva) turn back to Him, "YAHUSHA" will do for us what He did for His Natsarim (Taught ones) when He declared and made known, in YN(John) CH17, the Father's NAME. I used to believe that the Messiah's Name, in English, was "Yeshua," and then later, I believed it to be "Yahushua" but now, after much research, I know that the closest approximation of the sound of His Name in English is "YAHUSHA." There is substantial evidence to demonstrate that the name "Yeshua" was an acronym made up by the false Sanhedrin of the day which means "may His life be blotted out of the book of life" in Hebrew. Thus I don't use it anymore for obvious reasons. The name "Yahushua" has the suffix, "shua" which, in Hebrew means, "to call out," whereas the "SHA" in "YAHUSHA" means "deliverer/salvation. Thus, "YAHUSHA" means "YAHUAH our Deliverer" and He indeed becomes "Salvation" to all those who believe in Him and that call upon His Name in sincerity and truth. If one calls on JC in the day of destruction, rest assured that "destruction" is what they will get. The Spirit of Anti-Christ is here already and has been since the time that Yohanan wrote the book of Revelation. This spirit exists in all who call upon a false name for salvation. I pray Father calls all His children out, by "name," from amongst the anti-christ "Christian" church. AMaN.

They called "Yeshua , Yeshua " and then He would turn and answer. It is truly out of respect that we should use the Hebrew name given Him by the Father and not some man made name. You're right. He wouldn't have answered if you'd use 'Jesus'. You know why? 'Cause that name didn't exist yet! However, that was then and this is now. There's nothing wrong with calling on the name of Jesus once you understand his Jewish roots and the meaning of his name: which is 'Jehovah is salvation'.

      mike sirya you are taking the verse out of context, you need to apply the verse contextually, and it applies to the people Paul was speaking to, about keeping Torah. People often judged them for keeping the feast days, the sabbath day, etc. it does not mean the opposite, (keeping whatever sabbath day you want, whatever Holliday you want)

    • @evanu6579
      @evanu6579 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Patrick Parsons
      Let’s look at the context....
      Col 2: 4 ¶ And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
      (Gal 2: 4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
      Gal 3: 10 ¶ For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.)
      Col 2: 5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
      (Gal 3: 12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.)
      Col 2: 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
      11 ¶ In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
      (Gal 5: 1 ¶ Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
      2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
      3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
      4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.)
      Col 2: 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
      (Eph 2: 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
      2Cor 3: 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
      7 ¶ But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
      8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
      9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
      10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
      11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
      12 ¶ Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
      13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:)
      Col 2: 16 ¶ Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
      17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
      (Luk 24: 44 ¶ And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
      Matt 5: 17 ¶ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.)

    Paul was once a Torah observer, the Law of Moses follower. Then, He met Jesus Christ. What I notice is you are preaching "doing" the Law, "guidelines" and such. But Paul, one that met Jesus, said he "knew nothing except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. See, the cross was the instrument the Father that you call "Creator" used to bring salvation through the offering of His only begotten Son Jesus. He raised Him after three days just as it was written. This is that, by grace, through faith in Him, that we are justified through the blood of the Lamb Jesus. Yes, we are to walk in obedience, but it is to the voice of the Lord, just as it always was. Hear My voice, says the Lord. Obey Me. It is God that justifies. But, returning to the Law of Moses for righteousness is to make the cross of Jesus of no effect or profit as it is written.

    To whom particularly Jesus was telling this warning? Jesus was not only telling it to the common followers but to those Leaders pastors, and priests, bishops, and all who are teaching the bible as if their teachings are the very right one. Example, those who insist that TRINITY is the very truth that those who dont believe in it are morons and vice versa. And many more doctrines they insist their followers must do else they are domed.
