As a kid I used to have The Peetta and Katniss Everdeen dolls along with One direction Barbie dolls, a Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez doll and also a Victoria justice doll

The Elina doll from “Barbie Fairytopia Mermadia” where she had the large pink wings that would flap and you could fold them and put on a mermaid fin and the wings would become a mermaid tail. I played with that one for years! 😍😍😍 2. The Peaches and Cream Barbie from 1984. I just really LOVED that peach and white dress as well as her stunning hairdo 🤩 I tried to keep that one nice, but still played with her from time to time.
I disagree because they didn’t show different races or disabilities now it has different variations and it won’t make girls think they need to be a certain way
I mean they're dolls, they don't have to particularly look realistic, look at the doll making or one of a kind dolls buisnesses nowadays, they all adhere to some sort of aesthetic. (Blushy skin tone, big lips, long eyelashes,) and not everyone has that in real life. But those dolls are way more wanted by everyone. It really don't have to look realistic, people buy dolls because they look good and cute.
Idk why but everytime I look at barbie, I see a strong, independent, kind, and caring woman. I think it’s just sad when people only see barbie as a toxic beauty standard when she’s taught so much more than just physical appearance to me as a child. Especially Barbie movies

Its my opinion) The dolls are unique in look and the fashion outfits they have were so great. After maybe I was about 9 to 10 years old my mom bought me Lil Bratz doll of Chole since it was the cheapest. I was thankful she gave me a Bratz doll even if its a small one.
