It's called Pecking House, I had it in Brooklyn it's insane maybe the best fried chicken I've had besides Howlin Rays. Looked way better there then it did in this review tbh
I had Szechuan honey garlic chicken recently, and it was amazing. I could definitely tell the numbing effect, it was my mothers favorite sauce. Anything with Szechuan and she would come running. I miss her! Szechuan chicken is so delicious.
I don’t know why people think the thicker the chix the better, flavor goes right out the door with a thick cut of chix. Most of the flavor is on and around the chix than the inside, especially with a thin cut. Look at chic fil a, they figured it out.
Sichuan pepper is so interesting, if I didn't know what to expect the first time I tried some I would've thought I was having an allergic reaction lol. I started putting fresh ground Sichuan pepper on everything I ate for like 2 months. Makes very interesting buffalo wings
