    The Roxas night market in Davao City, Philippines is known for having cheap Filipino street food, so we had to check it out and see what these best Filipino street foods were and how Davao street food tastes!
    There were many places selling ihaw ihaw with loads of grilled meats and isaw to try. We got a big plate of grilled meats and isaw, covered in a tasty red sauce. There was kwek kwek galore as well, which you know, we love kwek kwek! We tried rice bowls, fried foods, and the popular street food, charcoal ice cream. The charcoal ice cream was mild in flavour, but oh so black. We couldn’t get over the colour of the black charcoal ice cream!
    We highly recommend checking out the Roxas Night Market if you're ever in Davao for some cheap Filipino street food. A definite must for delicious and tasty street food in the Philippines.

    I never like Sisig with mayonnaise and egg. Just the sisig with Calamansi juice, ground black pepper, salt, and chop Thai chilies. The best.😊

    I really hope the organizers try to improve the set up. It's not enough that there are sellers renting space and paying them daily or monthly. Variety is important. How could one long stretch be selling the same foods over and over. I think for the place to be more attractive and gather more patrons is for them to screen the sellers, limit varieties being sold to 5 sellers then introduce new foods.

      Such places just look STAGED and too commercial. We need Real Culture and that is why people need to study the Humanities.

    • @HungryTwoTravel
      @HungryTwoTravel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was a great market to check out, but we were surprised at the lack in variety as well. Once you'd tried a handful of places you'd tried them all, it seems like they focus most on the ihaw ihaw. Thanks for watching and commenting though, Bashers!
