@@HTV-2_Hypersonic_Glide_Vehicle thanks for doing that. I wasn’t able to get down there where they stopped the train. Glad that you could thank him for those of us who couldn’t. Hopefully, he and others will continue to provide things like that for us to enjoy.
@@susannesinnhuber5213 I had the same problem at Big Sandy, TX. I had to go North of town and just find a spot along the rail to shoot my video. Thankfully, it was wide enough for me to get a good view.
@truckerkevthepaidtourist just heavy traffic it was like that long before 4014 showed up. But some of it at that time might have been because of people looking down and seeing Big Boy
@@texastrainfan56 The tender is what usually derails. When that same tender was on the 3985, it derailed in this area trying to head south towards Waco probably getting close to 25 years ago now. 844’s tender is the same and it has problems in sharper curves also. There’s an older, pretty long video of that one getting retailed in Sacramento after derailing near the California State Railroad Museum during an event there.
@@SiriustheYao Talking about the SD70M that's normally partnered with 4014, which is part of the Heritage Fleet, unlike the Dash-Nine seen here which is just a standard road engine.
@michaelberger8137 lens aberration can be caused by several things. I think the lens is not seated properly to the camera because the aberration changes with zoom. 🤷♂️
1:31 that's me in the gray shirt filming!
Nice.
She certainly is a thing of beauty.
Especially in person. 🤠
Just something I noticed -
Title should be "Rolling Past", not "Rolling Passed"
Nice video of a spectacular engine!!
Flew in from Ohio to witness the spectacle of Big Boy and was not disappointed!
I got to thank Mr. Dickens when he was just walking in front of me. I had to let him know how much I appreciated him for this.

Thanks for sharing this clip, I tried twice to see it in motion, and I could only catch the cars in the back both time!!
Thanks. I wasn't able to go see it, so thanks for letting me see virtually.
Wow 😮 what an upload this is!! 👏🏼 thanks for sharing this. Such a beautiful steam engine with beautiful cars hooked up to it. ❤
Im taking my son and grandsons to see it up close the afternoon of Saturday October 12th. We can’t wait!
Thank you Big boy 4014!!! 🚂🚃🚃🚃🎃🇺🇸
I saw the engine backing up during some traffic in Fort Worth after visiting the zoo and I never thought I actually see it.
I love to see that big engine!
Que bonita locomotorita
Nice UP 4014 Big Boy Steam Engine I Saw Houston And Magnolia Tx
Fantastic locomotive
I seriously am shocked that there wasn't an entire flock of people there to see it and film it!!!!!
We couldn't get close to it when it was in Houston.

Thanks to union pacific for restoring this masterpiece i got to see it in person for the first time today
Thank GOD it didn't derail !!!
Big boy 4014 is that was cool 🆒😎
Big Boy is so cool😆👍🏻👍🏻
Love the steam. USN BT2
Thanx for the great video. Does that camera housing look dirty??
Was that people slowing down on the ramp to gawk at it or was that just heavy traffic in the DFW area?
Was wondering the same thing.

It was a Combination of BOTH!
YOU Don't, exactly see this, happen Every Day!
A big boy can traverse that corner but a center beam flat car can't.........
that was my thought: they have derailments at the very spot almost weekly!
@traindude70 well Big Boy is alot heavier it won't just pop off the tracks like empty center beams will

Yeah I'd go slow through there too. That track has been bad luck lately

Union Pacific AC44C6M 9625 is the diesel helper.
I see the road engine's 9625. What happened to 4015?
You mean the other Big Boys? There's only 8 left. 4018 is in Frisco at traintopia. Others are at other museums. Only 4014 is functional

I'm glad I didn't see this live... 4014 had to go around dead mans curve. 🤣
tower 55 R.I.P. camera could use a cleaning.
Looks like a soft-filter lens was used.

Norfolk & Western Class Y 2156.
That camera is worse than the bottom of a coke bottle.
I wonder it the drivers were startled when the Big Boy sounded its horn underneath them
1615. It's hard to say if the traffic is going slow because of the train or it's just normal traffic.
It’s just usual traffic - at rush hour I35W (where that ramp goes) is usually really slow 👍🏾
Camera housing/lens seems awful dirty.
What happened to grab bags every other day 😡😡😡😡
The guy who usually makes them (Joe Peach) has been unwell for a while. I hope he's recovering by now, but I have no other info'.
Enough Big Boy! Get Horseshoe Curve back online!
This is a really awesome sight seeing a great steam locomotive going through
Fort Worth at least it is to me this is really awesome Thank You.🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲
