thank you for the great video. Is the belt in the description the same serpentine belt? I mean the one on Amazon is it good as well even if it is not OEM part? thank you!

Thank you for watching and the belt that I use in the video is OEM but a lot of people that have done this job said that the one on Amazon is as good as OEM.

Cheers, very clear and well filmed! Do you happen to know how to remove rear door panels of Stelvio? I am stuck to the point it looks like i will break them apart

Great video thanks! How did you reach those nuts on the tensioner pulley cover on the drivers side? I used all the extensions and u-joints I had without luck. Factory manual says to go underneath for that part I may have to try it that way unless you’ve got a truck to share

I used a flex head ratchet wrench. If you pause the video at the 3:19 mark you see the tool that I use next to the four nuts to remove the cover. It’s a tight fit but I was able to get it out with that without going through the bottom. Once you are ready to put back the cover. started by hand feel where the nuts go, start it by hand, and then you can use the tool to tighten them up.

Were to buy the belt? I search by the OEM number... but... what is the best "brand" to buy?

Hello this Stelvio are pretty reliable as long as you keep up with the recommended manufacture maintenance at least in mine no major issues.

@@RonDIYMods thanks my brother, prices for service here in California are insane ($1,000 at 40k miles service and inspection of the belt but no replacing) but I love the car and I want to keep it in good shape.

@@adriano8809 yes I know these are great cars, but services are very expensive. I’m also in California. This is the purpose of my DIY videos for anybody can service their own vehicles and save money while doing it.

They amendment the recommendation to change it every 30k. Still thanks for the video.

Yes Alfa Romeo recommend changing the serpentine belt every 30,000 miles I went over about 2000 miles of mine.
