I am SO glad I found this channel and found this speaker than I never knew existed. I bought it from Amazon via the link in the description and and very happy with this beautiful speaker! It's so much more than a novelty speaker, there's nothing cheap or tinny about it at all. He is describing it exactly as it really is. It's beautiful, solid, well-made and sounds awesome. I left a review on Amazon and told everyone about this great channel and how I found it!
I bought one of these on your recommendation.here in UK . It's fantastic . The sound is awesome. Great bass too . I use it mainly with a memory stick.plugged in . Best thing I bought in ages . Looks so lovely too . Thanks for your review . So helpful . I always watch them . Very fair , sensible and honest reviews . Best regards from the UK
Its literally a glorified bluetooth speaker but its EFFING GORGEOUS! would definitely be a talking point/conversation starter when on display. Only drawback in my opinion is the disc doesn't spin while music plays, that would have been such a cool little feature :)
Record-ology thanks! There not so much review about it. Ill be waiting for it! Im actually interested in the victrola one. Thanks again sir!! Good job!
Cool little gadget. Unfortunately I can almost guarantee that the weight is due to it being cast from magnesium alloy. I don't know about you, but it really annoys me when I get something new in the mail and the corner of the retail box is bashed in. Nonetheless, it sounds fantastic!
Not bad no, it's just a cheap material also known as 'pot metal'. It doesn't really matter when used for something like this speaker as it is quite strong.
Les Rogers it deteriorated badly over time. It expands and contracts I guess due to temperature, some otherwise Great Orthophonic Victrola’s of the late 1920’s are almost worthless to me as a collector of them due to pot metal parts. I bought one of the few that doesn’t have pot metal, a Columbia Viva-Tonal 711 which is a big honking console phonograph! It sound Majestic! Best Regards, David
@@Recordology Funnily enough I remember you reviewing that one. Went for this really because of the size and also the deck plays 12 inch 33rpm, sound from the deck sounds pretty good.

Is magnesium alloy bad?
