So, your argument that "inflation didn't decrease after the special permit for Franco imports, indicates that the measure didn't help curb inflation " is void. 2. Further, when analyzing the effects of tool against an undesired phenomena we have to consider that effective use of the tool before we conclude the tool as a whole is not useful. By this I mean you have to consider if the tools that is in this case Franco was properly utilized before reaching any conclusion. I I was going to write three more points regarding your analysis, however since I'm in a hurry I will stop here but you should consider running your ideas via others or avoid seeking to validate your ( hypothesis) before holding other factors constant when analyzing. The main issues in your analysis is that e you're not holding other factors constant or at least you're not measuring them and evaluating those measurements based on theory. If the money supply is expanding at a rapid rate, what you do on other fronts might not be sufficient in countering inflationary force.
