It's crazy how many vans are getting broken into these days. It's not fair on people that rely on their vans and tools to make a living. It's great you've raised awareness to this and are showing people they can take steps to try and prevent their vans being broken into 👏

I knew it was a problem but can’t believe how much of a problem. I think those locks look really smart on the vans, and like you said the more people get them the more of a deterrent it should be. Hi Mark, you can't be too careful, I've got 2 trackers, dead locks a dash cam with parking mode and keep my keys in a Faraday cage at home for my car, so I'm the same rather go over the top than the hassle if your vehicle gets nicked or broken into.👍💯💚

We have put so much extra security on our motorhome as they get stolen, sometimes broken into too. Can't recommend enough Outsmart the Thief Lockdown, who have never had a vehicle stolen. There must be similar for vans on the market. What sold us if if they get away with one, a phonecall locks it down so when it is safe to stop it, say at lights, it can not be started again without a phone call to OTT. We know this works because we did not respond quick enough to the call that somebody (that would be me who forgot to turn off the alarm) was entering the vehicle, so they locked it down. All sorted quickly remotely over the phone but showed it works as we could not start even with the key.
My dad has his transit custom stolen last year and it’s just heartbreaking, especially when you rely on it for your livelihood. Hopefully a lot of people see this video and go to get theirs done.

4 times last year me mark working in london .im from mcr had no issues in mcr got the new transit now .they have rectifyed the back door but not the sidd door .
Watched a few times. It’s mental the extremes they go to just to make money by stealing tools. Happened to my dad, they stole a analyser which the thief’s didn’t know gets a yearly service by the people who made the item. So they were able to track it down. Good awareness for sure!!

My house was broke into a WEEK after i first moved in, all to steal a car! So frustrating and scary tbh i still check all my cameras at 3am 🤦♀️ cant imagen having my work equiptment being stolen along with it too! Its good there is some extra protection you can have in place! X
Took me about an hour and pausing every second 😂🤞🏽, just cost me £500 for new doors on my van because it got broken into on New Year’s Eve, and about 800£ worth of tools stolen… certainly going to invest in locks in the future once I’ve saved up

What a shame this has to go done I’ve had my van broken in approx 10 times or more over the last years had it wrecked and once broken in and all they took was cans of coke shame it cost me a days taking plus the cost of repairs 😢 handy people to know thank you❤

It’s heart breaking genuine workmen end up losing so much money from tools and income from idiots breaking into their van and stealing. There should be government grants to help secure work vans All tradesmen have families they support too and tools costs several thousands of pounds and can’t just be replaced overnight
£1300 is a lot but it’s definitely a long term investment! It’s crazy how common breaking into vehicles is! We literally had someone looking into our parked cars for a reason to smash the windows! Luckily we didn’t have anything in the car!
