Thank you for the reaction. I had chills from the moment Jayoung hit the first keys on the piano. In this song every one of them, drums, bass, guitars plays superb. This is not a cover, this is a ‘REMAKE’ in every sense. These young ladies not only made justice to the original but lifted it in a different universe. The guitar solos although completely different in style and tone between Iree and Hyunjung, still both suit the song perfectly. Jayoung’s vocals are unreal. Her voice with that tiny bit of gOrit is perfect for rock. To top it up, her ‘scatting’ towards the end is probably the absolute best I heard for many years. You should check out Kim Changhoon’s commentary regarding Rolling Quartz’s version of his song: th-cam.com/video/iMPllLqCmqY/w-d-xo.html I know I’m quite a bit biased when it comes to Rolling quartz, but they are just reaching new heights with every new release. Yeah, he's an original. And his commentary is just nothing but praise for RQ's remake of his song. Literally tells them several times that the original was 4 stars ... and RQ's version is 5 stars ...
