That build quality is abysmal for the price they’re charging. I still believe the MJJC S V3.0 is the best on the market. It’s super expensive yes, but the build and fit and finish on it is fantastic. Gives me super thick foam even with my little dinky craftsman pressure washer
MJJC is far and beyond better to me just more thought was put into it with the quick release. Many think the clear bottle is an issue, but mine has been great for over a year now.

So, Keav, thanks for your take. A lot of us ask you questions and you Always have an answer. Appreciated! My take on this is its a Great way to answer those of us that Absolutely Love the 1/4 turn lid that the V3 bottle brought to market. It's also a nice way to give EVERYONE a wide Mouth Bottle (which we have ALL been wanting) and NOT ostracize those of us that have the Original Head with the small neck. I think MTM can clean this up a Tad, and they are fine. Only 1 thing left for them to add, which you pointed out, the flex straw and weighted ball. Overall, I Love this design because if they redo their entire cannon I HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER ONE and so will tens of thousands of current MTM owners. It's still the BEST CANNON OUT THERE in my opinion (yes the plug should be stainless though). Best controls, smooth, just a pleasure to use! Funny, I'm usually Mr. Negative and on this one I'm not... Glad I can ALWAYS be that guy😂... Take 'R easy Keav!
If you have a previous pf22.2 it’s a no brainer just I expected a more thought out design. This will not hold up over time IMO. The plastic tabs will get worn out. The V3 1/4 turn is so far ahead in its design and how it works it just makes this look cheap and they did as little as possible with no effort. Still have a zinc quick connect and not adding the weighted ball to the kit shows they don’t care. Pf22.2 is a great foam cannon and in this industry there is a lot of brand loyalty for sure. We can both say MJJC and MTM are the two best foam cannon products out there. From a business standpoint I mean they have little invested here and didn’t have to change much manufacturing wise with the molds so it’s a no brainer to get another added value purchase from every previous owner. Problem is MTM is so late to these things they won’t clean it up for at least two years. Probably will be the 4th bottle revision to buy. 🤣

Nice to see MTM changing to the wide mouth style and I agree with you it really should have a stainless QC , over in the UK we don’t have anyone stocking the adaptable bottle yet, it certainly would be something I’d do before forking out £70 for a new (same) lance as before , the fittings look horrendously bad though having to take a knife to make it fit, that’s bad design , great video 👍
Many thanks for sharing, I was fairly pleased when I saw the PF22.3 released, albeit only one UK seller and quite overpriced IMO. I have two PF22.2 (two different fittings for two different guns) and had hoped the 22.3 bottle and weighted tube would be made available on their own, but nothing on the market as yet over here that I can see. I do love the foam lances themselves, they are probably my favourite. The wide lid securing doesn’t look great at all does it? Great, honest informative video 👍
It’s not the best, but it’s an improvement over the older bottle for sure. They should have included the weighted ball at the least, but normally there are reasonable priced ones on Amazon.
You can get weighted balls and straws on Amazon pretty cheap. amzn.to/49rs1YY I’ll have to check the size it was a random I found in my drawer of o-rings.
You think those Flexible Silicone Travel Straws they sell at Dollar Tree is a better upgrade than the Straw that the MTM came with and those Foam Cannons with the hard Plastic Straw? I saw those Silicone Travel Straws at the checkout area and was curious, so I bought from to try on my MJJC Pro v2.0. Believe it or not, the straw fits perfectly.
As long as they are chemical resistant I don’t see why they wouldn’t work. As long as it can stay attached to the manifold and weighted ball. Anything is better than the straw that comes with the MTM. The MJJC straws are way better and usually cut the right length.
There is definitely a little more to be desired about the new bottle. I honestly dont have much of a problem with the OG small neck. I have a bottle fill funnel that fits on it so its easy. And in regards to the manufold if it aint broke dont fix it.. everything is good quality where it needs to be and MTM knows that quick connects are consumables they get worn in and dont hold as well so you just replace it
Using materials known to rust easily especially in areas with bad water just to me is a cop out. I have spray guns that are years old and still using the original quick connects and they are not putting rust in my water. I agree with everything else just all personal preference really. If they had that same mindset about consumable quick connects why does everything else they sell have stainless as standard?
Thank you for the vid Keav. I’ll purchase the upgrade for my current pf22. So the stiff filler tube, run under hot water? For how long? This would be a game changer for me being 2 of my cannons have the stiff filler tubes lol
Yeah, hot water from the sink soak in it for awhile. You can even try boiling water. This is how you straighten out clear tubing that wants to stay rolled up. Makes it easier to get the weighted ball on as well. Soak for a few minutes. If you place at room temp should stay somewhat flexible, but colder temps it will stiffen back up.
PLEASE HELP - I have a Jet USA RX550 3500PSI pressure washer. I bought an upgraded hose which came with quick connect attachments in m22 14mm size. The pressure washer unit has a fixed male end thread which I wrapped in teflon tape to prevent leaking. The m22 14mm quick connect fits over this male thread, but still leaks. I've checked the O-ring and tightened the quick connect as hard as I can muster. It still leaks! Does this mean the male thread from the pressure washer requires an m22 15mm (female) quick connect that has an m22 14mm male end? I have bad eyes and don't have a measuring tool to determine inner diameter of the connector on the original hose. I tried contacting Edisons who own Jet USA for more information, but they asked for a receipt for prove of purchase but I can't find the darn thing. You're my only hope. Please help an old fellow!
If the m22 14mm fits and it’s hand tight, but still leaks then it’s a 15mm for sure. 15mm female to 14mm male adapter is needed. You should never need Teflon with an m22 fitting. amzn.to/3US3pE8

Get the Pro V2 if you are unless you are waiting for the Pro V3. The S V3 did not do well in drop testing. The bottle broke to pieces and the manifold broke in half.

This is the third bottle release for the PF22 in 7 years and that is all they have done. The life cycle of that design to me is at max profit and it’s time to break the internet with something new. Even the SGS28 gun could be improved with a better more compact swivel. Just hope they don’t wait too long and somebody else takes more market share.

MTM is not going to be a company in a few years if they put out finalized products like this. Absolute garbage compared to current competition at similar price points. This looks more like a $35 Amazon buy.
If you already had a pf22.2 this is a no brainer to upgrade the bottle. Just wish they wouldn’t cheap out in areas when it comes to buying a whole new foam cannon. Better options are out there, but of course this is all based on opinion.
The one thing I see is they are living off older proven designs and not innovating. Which from a profit standpoint is good as you dial in those manufacturing costs over time. Even the Aqualine products are just better quality materials. SGS35 is a larger SGS28 with food grade stainless and plastics. If they wait too long they will get left behind in my opinion.

They had one job and it took them several years. It’s like they didn’t even try. I do fear MTM and even Kranzle are not innovating and in a few years if they don’t innovate they will get left behind and can’t rely on the name and decade old products.
I had both as well and within a year they came out with V2 and the improvements were noticeable. Wish MTM did the same. Maybe they just have so much in R&D they have go longer between new designs.

You can’t go wrong with an MJJC and they have so many adapters as well which is nice too!

Old pf22.2 head screws right onto the new bottle lid so you just need to buy the bottle and cap.

Weighted ball comes if you buy the whole pf22.2 foam cannon. If you get just the bottle then it does not come with the weighted ball.

@@CarsWithKeav Bro i didnt feel you trashed them as hard, you just gave your opinion, lol, alright thank you for telling me the competitor, i found them doing some research already but at the time of watching your video i was seriously looking at your videos to try to make my informed desition on what to get from who, so far am leaning to MJJC V2 but havent finished my research yet. About the comments there is always going to be the ppl that just vomit their thougts, so you try to do the best you can and that's it, but try to be transparent, if you woulve said the competitor and not give them so much promo because you get kinda roasted on the comments you would have nail it. @@leor2252 Appreciate that and the MJJC Pro V2 is a great pick. They are coming out with a Pro V3 sometime this spring hopefully. Kind of combines the two newest models they have with the Pro durability. Appreciate site your thoughts on the video and comments. I’ll take all the constructive feedback I can get.

Am planning on doing this Griots metering tip hack you did to be able to use the straight up soap on there

MTM is not going to be a company in a few years if they put out finalized products like this. Absolute garbage compared to current competition at similar price points. This looks more like a $35 Amazon buy.
I’d much rather pay $15 to upgrade my PF22.2 to a wide neck than pay $80-$100 for any of the other foam cannons out there
If you already had a pf22.2 this is a no brainer to upgrade the bottle. Just wish they wouldn’t cheap out in areas when it comes to buying a whole new foam cannon. Better options are out there, but of course this is all based on opinion.
The one thing I see is they are living off older proven designs and not innovating. Which from a profit standpoint is good as you dial in those manufacturing costs over time. Even the Aqualine products are just better quality materials. SGS35 is a larger SGS28 with food grade stainless and plastics. If they wait too long they will get left behind in my opinion.

Keav this is sad the new MTM PF22.2 | Wide Neck Bottle is a poor design that click to lock THAT WILL WHERE OUT VERY FAST should have stayed with the twist off/on Design THEN IT WOULD HAVE BIN THE KING . I wont be buying this new wide version SAD
They had one job and it took them several years. It’s like they didn’t even try. I do fear MTM and even Kranzle are not innovating and in a few years if they don’t innovate they will get left behind and can’t rely on the name and decade old products.

I’ve liked the V2 more than the V1 MJJC. But I have both.
I had both as well and within a year they came out with V2 and the improvements were noticeable. Wish MTM did the same. Maybe they just have so much in R&D they have go longer between new designs.
I expected way better. Very Janky and I feel in a few months there will be a lot of complaints about the tops getting loose.
@@CarsWithKeavthey cost a lot for what it is. There are better foam cannons out for there for less. With MTM you’re paying for the brand. I usually see detailers that detail high end cars use these.

It didn’t do well in the drop test and the plastic tabs for the quick connect need to be cut a little to get it to fit.
You can buy a much cheaper and better one than this garbage
